Communities such as r/water$#*!s occasionally get banned by the admins for no reason, while r/ageplaypenpals is allowed to pretend they're having sex with their kids. Politically neutral communities delete comments and ban users whose views they don't like. Reddit used to be great, but it's not anymore

No way to escalate moderator who called me an $#*!. There simply is no escalation process for mods that are "jerks", unfair and doesn't do their job properly.

Aside from the frustrating experiences i had, i don't think reddit promotes a sense of community among users. Reddit encourages trash talking, tolerates sarcasm and wordings that i wouldn't let me kids hear.

More often, bad and insensitive comments are coming from mods

Censorship everywhere, mods are a bunch of whining kids who feel the need to have elevation over others and slience any one going against them

Only left wing socialists, communists, Democrats, pornographers, and pedophiles are welcome on this publisher's site. All other views are attacked with vile language, threats of or actual doxxing, and calls to violence mostly perpetuated by the so called " moderators".

These people should be locked away in a mental institution and never released. R/choosingbeggars and other subs block content that is literally what their sub is all about. Reddit as a whole is overrun with $#*!ed liberals and commies who can't stand to be disagreed with. Most members have 10 alt accounts to manipulate the stats sitewide. Only stay here if you are a terrorist loving freedom hating cuck.

If you think differently from the left then they will take instructions right out of 1984 and make you disappear. Moving somewhere else. Deleted account, I wont give up my principles of freedom of speech no matter how butthurt some people get.

Reddit is a left wing circle jerk, so naturally they're against freedom of speech. You can't speak your mind, unless you're part of the hive mind. Place is full of NPCs. Not sure if I ever ran into a human on r/politics. My advice is stay away. Whole place is imploding.

Many of the moderators arent fit to judge based on objectivity. For example, there is a new moderator for cringeanarchy named "CA_cleanup" and another moderator subbed to "r/cuckoldry". This is not objectivity this is abuse of control. In summary, reddit sucks and is getting worse.

It doesn't take much for a subreddit to get banned. Your thoughts must align with the majority/moderators.

It's common and expected for people and businesses to buy upvotes. Traffic manipulation is a normal thing on Reddit.

Reddit bans every subreddit they don't agree with. There's political propaganda all over the place and it's getting more cancerous by the day.

Bans right wing discussion but allows drugs, sex, violence, and racial discrimination. I have never seen such censorship on a site that claims to advocate for free speech. What a shame

This site seems to think that banning people with unpalatable opinions will somehow end the problem.

By unpalatable, I'm speaking of people who make racist jokes.
Drug addicts and paedophiles are ok though.

This website will ban you, censor you, and try to control what you think and say on the site, while they let racists, drug addicts, and terrorists roam free. Stay away!

I have been a member since 2007, recently deleted my account. I didn't so much leave the community as the community left me. There were always trolls and disagreement - it's the Internet after all - but in the effort to clamp down, the cure has been so much worse than the disease.

Simply awful site. George Orwell would be proud.
