Reddit admins not only intentionally hid reviews that were negative for the company, refused to reply to questions of why they did it, and shadow banned accounts based upon opinions. They banned me for "Discouraging people from participating in communities" after calling someone else out for blocking an account which makes it impossible to reply to them. Reddit is the second largest echo chamber of the internet beside facebook. Don't let them tell you otherwise. Go against group think and you'll happily be banned with no response until the last day of your ban. Then they'll say "oops our bad, you shouldn't have been banned" it's a thinly disguised excuse for promoting the political agendas held by the admins.

Edit: 4 days into a 7 day ban, I submitted a appeal on the first day, and unbanned exactly as predicted and expected.

Being a senior this site was recommended to me to find out the many things that I have acquired that I do not know anything about. Trying to navigate this site was tiring. At every move I was given a warning that if I didn't go back and reword or follow instructions that I would be deleted. No patience at all with a new comer. This site was very disappointing! Will not use them again.

Antifa terrorists, feminist psychos and tons of lies, violence, fake news, porn. Banned for questioning feminists saying false rape accusations are harmless. Unsafe for kids.

This site is maybe the most toxic site on the Internet. Part of it is the fact that everyone is anonymous and part of it is the majority of users are young, dumb, immature, angry and lost in the world. The site also skews strongly towards American, heterosexual, white males b/c that is the vast majority of their user base. The karma thing is childish and it's like cool points in middle school. People will literally attack you for asking an innocent question or anything that is different from their opinion. And the Mods who run the site? They are the same idiots using it too. The level of toxicity and anger is unbelievable. The subs are like the writing on the bathroom wall and everyone pretends to be pseudo-smart but no one actually has any clue what they are really talking about. They are all lost and confused and searching for the meaning of life by asking other lost and confused individuals to agree with them to reinforce their false beliefs. Also the behavior is very reminiscent of middle school and high school kids where gangs of kids will pick on, bully and belittle others. Very sad. Also if AI flags one of your posts for hate speech or something else then you go to the Redditt kangaroo court where if they find you guilty you are banned from the site forever. Do not waste your time for you own mental health.

The most delusional people I have ever seen- those pseudo intellectuals who think they are intelligent - and you wonder why the fabric of society is unraveling, and that is why we have the lowest who are in charge of our lives - are these people allowed to vote -! All they do is arguing about the sex of an angel - if you know what I mean. Useless site for lazy and delusional people.

I hate this because of two reasons. One is that, when a post of mine is removed by a mod because it doesn't fit their pages topic, it makes my original post look awful and misunderstood. Two is because, there is always that one person on every one of my post that comments something nasty, inappropriate, or offensive. Sure I could down vote it but in all reality, no one wants to see that… I've been using this app for 6 months and I love it it's just my only problem with it is that when a post is deleted the comments are not. I like this app however because you can get some pretty helpful advice from people on here and you can read some interesting stuff.

The most TOXIC site i have ever been on! Its comparable to 4chan. This site contains the most ignorant, obnoxious, dumb, foul people i have ever had the displeasure of meeting. If you defend yourself or your beliefs on reddit, you are banned / muted. They ALLOW ignorance. The ENCOURAGE it. And its polluted with ads. Even with an ad blocker, reddit moderators go to extremes to force ads onto your machine. If you complain, or teach people how to use an ad blocker, reddit moderators mute you and ban you. Stay away from this site. I have now blocked ALL reddit URL's using a HOSTS file. And the site constantly offers you "free" awards to give to others for "good" posts. As soon as you accept one of these gifts, you are bombarded with ads asking you to "buy coins". Yet another monkey making site that is. Just foul. Save yourself a headache. Don't even bother with this one. Unless you are an ignorant, attention seeking, protentious douchebag that loves spewing ignorant $#*!.

I turned off "ask to open in the app"option off in the settings but without fail every 10 seconds it will ask you to go in the app and if you say no it will close whatever you are looking at and make you click on it again or go back to the beginning. And then the app wants you to sign away your privacy rights. Reddit is terrible. Website designers need a new career

Disgusting agenda pushing sites with no transparency. Censorship of 'wrong think' and general toxic dumping ground of circle-jerking and echo chamber. Expect to be bullied for saying something that the majority dont agree with. In line with general cancer wokeism which is plaguing our world.

What a useless website. No one gains anything from it. It's rating is below average. Better to shut it.

Reddit's policy is that anything that disparages the dangers of covid or climate change will result in a ban. That should have been a warning that true dialogue is impossible by design. If you wish to express any opinion that either of these orthodoxies is excessive or hyperbolic they can and will ban you. It doesn't matter what data you bring to the table. This is the 21st century version of the medieval catholic church's inquisitions except that the church finally allowed dialogue. If you are a cancel culture enthusiast and want to enter into pre agreed statements with like minded cancel culturists then this is the place for you. If you want spirited and helpful conversation with back and forth warrants you will be viewed as an infidel and banished very quickly. Best to find another site before you waste your time.

Got banned immediately for retaliating against someone who was being an $#*! to basically everyone on this site. This was months after I've submitted a report against them with no response from the admins. After I got banned, the user started looking for me on other platforms and ranting at me for hours straight.
Also, the admins here have no sense of integrity, with them even protecting a child rapist. The idea that they've fired Aimee Knight is a joke, since they clearly didn't go through with it considering how they're banning anyone that speaks up against her. They probably just made it so that she doesn't have the admin badge, but she's still an admin.
Somehow, I've managed to hate the admins here more than anyone I've met in real life, and with all the stuff they have wrong with them, I'd say that's justified. I didn't even mention all the other stuff they did, like taking bribes from China, and basically promoting harassment. The thing is, this site, and its admins, have way too many problems to cover with a limited amount of characters, so I'll just leave it off here. If you want to learn more about these scumbags, feel free to look it up, just warning you though, you'll probably feel like crap afterwards.

Totally under the pressure of the current idiotic government. Does not allow freedom of expression. Not enjoyable because what readers are served on a palette is what the reddit wants and not what people want to share and discuss! A flop website. Do not waste your valuable time of this stupid useless website.

It's score is going down day by day and it will soon have to wind up and leave, for sure.

Reddit is a horrible site. The userbase is full of users who aren't fond of others opinions. Full of bullying behavior. And moderators who are incompetent and useless. Every sub reddit is toxic be warned. Downvotes are given to silence and belittle other users. It is abused by the users who use the site. Overall reddit is a place that encourages ignorance. Expressing yourself isn't allow on reddit.

I've been having issues trying to report a group on reddit that seems to get away with some of the rules/values that reddit claims cannot be broken by users. The group r/aznidentity masks itself as being an activist group but in reality it's essentially a far left yellow supremacy group. When I go through a lot of their posts/comments (and their bizarre manifesto) they come across as being very disparaging, rude and racist towards Caucasians (primarily Caucasian men). I've literally seen instances of racism on there and have been called racial slurs by members associated with their groups when I try to ask them to remove certain pieces of content. I'm wondering why reddit allows these groups to exist? And when I tried to have them reported it seems my account was deactivated. If reddit hopes to be a legit website they should start making sure that members abide by all of their rules.

We all have differences of opinions. The fact that regular users of this site can private message you and harass you is unacceptable. Goodbye Reddit. Never again!

This is a place where pseudo-intellectuals can practice attacking each other while fearing reprisals. Good people should avoid it.

I was an upstanding member of reddit for many years, albeit I only used it on occassion. However, that all changed when the BigBrother forum on reddit discovered I was a black man. When I tried to confront racism on the show and in the forum the racist members swarmed downvoting me. Then, the moderator, who I later discovered is also a known racist, suspended me from the forum for a few days.

I then complained (in a nice intelligent manner) to the site itself for the racist abuse I had received and within 2 minutes of sending that report the site suspended my account altogether.

Reddit is the last great stronghold for racism. I've since discovered it is pervasive throughout the site and they do whatever they can to stamp out minorities and push a white supremacist narrative. I am greatly saddened by this and don't know if I can continue living knowing there is such great racism in the world.
