Purchased bike rack and hitch for nearly $500. Hitch arrived broken. Two weeks later and several debacles with their shipping co I just want to rerun the product unopened, damaged as arrived. Their response: Contacted merchant: By phone

Ordered bike rack and hitch together. Hitch arrived broken sticking out of package. Contacted rack attack. They said shipping damage happens all the time. They sent a replacement but their shipping co picked up the replacement before I had a chance to. Rack attack required me to contact the shipping co. After an hour I got nowhere with fed ex. Now rack attack refuses to issue my refund unless I pay $100 return shipping for the item that arrived damaged. 3 rounds of emails with them and no progress. They said "Unfortunately we can not accept responsibility for the return shipping, as neither Curt nor Rack Attack have any involvement with the unfortunate situation between you and the shipping company." This is their shipping company. They want me to pay $100 to ship back their product that arrived damaged. Save yourself a headache and by from your local trusted store.

As an avid skier and biker, I need to upgrade my roof rack every time I upgrade my vehicle. Many high end SUV's need special configurations and adapters to make them work on my Thule or Yakima racks. I just bought new mounts to make my Yakima roof rack work on my new SUV which had factory cross bars. I also bought my last 4 mount trailer hitch Thule bike rack from these guys. They seem to be the only website dedicated to just racks. These guys are experts.
