The overall reputation of Quora appears to be declining, with numerous customers expressing dissatisfaction about the platform's moderation policies and perceived bias in content removal. Many users reported experiences of censorship, particularly regarding political views, leading to frustrations over a lack of open dialogue. Despite these concerns, some users still appreciate Quora for its diverse range of topics and the opportunity to engage with a global audience. However, the prevalence of scams and low-quality content has raised significant concerns about the platform's integrity and reliability, suggesting a need for improved moderation and user support.

Quora must be investigated by the State General Attorney in California. It is absolutely outrageous and disgusting how Quora changes the answers and comments of his users to spread far-right propaganda. The Social Media Site also promotes Pornographic, violent, and hate mainly discriminating pictures. It deliberately suspends and censors users who promote democracy. And it changes upvotes for users in benefit of far-right users.
Quora is absolutely out of control and criminal. Adam D' Angelo belongs behind bars. I request an investigation.
I just had a comment automatically deleted for no apparent reason. This site makes no sense. If you're going to delete my comment with a bot, why can't you send me an automated message showing the comment in question? This site is an absolute waste of time.
EDIT: Don't spend too much time on any answer or comment because you might come back only to find that it's gone. There will be no record of it. If you spend any amount of time or energy on anything, save it somewhere else. At least then, you can try to re-post it or edit it.
This app is filled with pages of questions/answers written by pedophiles. New ones appear every day, without being removed. But if the moderators think you aren't using your real name, and a real picture of you, they will block you from using your account. If you disagree with someone and they think you're being mean, your comment gets removed. A girl asked a question about why she cries in school when thinking of her dead father, and a man responded that she's manipulative or attention seeking. I commented back "you're crazy" and my comment was marked as offensive and removed. This app should not only never be used by anyone, but it also needs to be taken down. Its rules are backwards and its a sesspool for perversion.
Even tiktok is better. Quora's moderation is inconsistent, echo-chambers are abundant. Censorship is abundant. Quora gonna be irrelevant in 5 years at this rate. Or they make a stupid enough decision like tumbling down tumblr did. Pathetic excuse of Bandwidth space wasted. " I certify that this review is based on my own experience and that I am in no way affiliated with this business, and have not been offered any incentive or payment from the business to write this review." It's negative definitely not siding with Quora, nobody even if they get paid should respect this platform. 10 Million minimum shill or bust. Not a trustworthy website and also allowed Bitcoin scams as ads. Anyone taking the platform even a little seriously like I mistakened have should quit not just Quora, ALL Social media if possible for your life. I'd rate this site -20/100 if I could. Trump's pile of dung > Quora as a whole.
You can call someone a ni**er and you're good on quora but respond that they are stupid for calling people ni**wrs and you'll get a violation.
Adam d'Angelo is clearly a closet racist
I did enjoy reading the different opinions & comments on Quora & Life is Beautiful but i cancelled because i received threatening comments from probably Russian readers about comments made on the useless slaughter of German people in ww2.
When i went to reply to being called a hitler fan boy i could not reply & this site has obviously Anti German sentiment.
I was invited to visit a reader & told i would not leave alive & Quora allowed that comment to reach me?
I used this site recently having last been on about two years ago. I saw few if any substantive answers to any of the topics I looked at. I later reviewed follow-up posts to previous answers and questions I had posted, and it was honestly too snarky to read or even look at. I get that the online community is ruthless, but Quora was launched as a site for people to ask questions and talk about big ideas. What it has become is a venue for one-word answers and trolls. I would give less than one star if I could.
You can't share your truth without someone reporting you. The last time I was reported, this old guy didn't like that I schooled him in Psychology, even though he attacked first. No harsh words were used, nor was I aggressive, but I was reported nonetheless. Tried to appeal it but they supported the old guy having a sook.
Moderators refuse to provide "reason" for deleting posts that question Democrat/Liberal positions. And, some moderators accept my comments after review, and some don't. Obviously run by political hacks.
Conservatives are allowed too be openly attacked. Liberals can literally post pictures of animal abuse and human torture.
As a conservative, all you need to do, too be banned, is use actual facts, too call a liberal on their bs feelz.
If I'm not going to have a verified career, there should be no reason for me to put my real name, I got blocked from COMMENTING on answers to questions I ask. Because everyone is allowed to write answers that are verified, when I ask a question people just give unhelpful answers like stating the obvious go to the doctor, I don't actually need to go to the doctor for some things that are very arbitrary but unordinary.
I wrote an answer to expose a pedophile (A pedophile, someone who likes little kids in a sexual way), but, Quora didn't take down the account who was trying to date little kids, it took down my answer because of the BNBR policy. Also, when I paste an answer I wrote, it becomes blank? Fix that.
I will always get topics about superheroes like "Has Hulk ever transformed using something other than his anger?" I'm so tired sick those questions and not of them is not topic I want Sorry if I was being rude. They ignore me and off-topic
I am using quora on everyday bases and I think it has pretty interesting range of discussion topics with a wide range of people from different backgrounds participating. A great place to share knowledge and views and get quick answers. I would recommend anyone to use it does not matter what question you might have you will definitely find an answer.
Listen, you can't write almost anything unless it fits into their perfect little bubble of factually incorrect. Most answers are just downright wrong. Correcting others kindly gets you banned. No one answers the questions fully. There are definitely a few good writers, and I use it soley for their content. Otherwise? Trash.
Blocked because of name and when asked to send link to my Facebook i send it but they say doesn't take them to my Facebook, funny when i click on link it takes me directly to my Facebook page. Maybe we should all have some kind of badge on our Facebook pages like the badges the Nazis made the Jews wear so they were easily identifiable, and this is an organisation that allow 13 year olds to use it, are they secretly using their platform to groom future racist and bigots who will discriminate against someone simply because of their name? Reviews tell a lot about companies and internet platforms and we can't all be wrong about this sleazy child grooming platform, if you ever feel the need to monitor your child's internet behaviour then this is the reason why you should, organisations like this are very dangerous and detrimental to children's development and future behaviour as citizens in a world where there is too much hate, bullying and discrimination.
Just something way-off-the-beaten-path with this site. There are "some" good people who are on this site; but the overall vibe of it for me is... It's like the twilight zone of social media. I did get lots of great responses for the short time I participated in commenting, etc. but I deleted this account... had a deep sigh and felt liberated from whatever the heck this site really is. Looking at people's pets, grandkids, baked goods, silly dances, etc. doesn't seem so bad anymore when compared to this odd site.
I find Quora to be an interesting site. Subjects run the gamut from entertainment and advice on personal issues to financial info and politics. In all but the last, it is informative, entertaining and usually worth the read. They hurt their credibility however when answering anything political. They invariably answer with the same slant and sarcastic abuse of all things not liberal and especially as it relates to former President Trump that you might encounter while reading the most famous of the left leaning partisan pages. It truly is in conflict with any kind of neutral forum in this area.
In my opinion, Quora is a fairly toxic community. Over half of the users are people who claim to have a PhD degree from Ivy League schools. Users give sub-par answers and sprinkle in various scientific terms that don't apply to the topic, presumably to give the impression of being smarter to other users.
Quora blocked me, they claim, for not using my "real" name. Truth? I had the audacity to disagree with & then block one of their favorite members. If you're into high school antics, if you are a good sheep, Quora is for you. If you are intelligent, an independent thinker, if you like to share ideas to gain knowledge there are many forums/sites available, Inspire is one I would recommend. I have blocked Quora & yet they continue to email me. Quora was started by one of the individuals that started FB... enough said.
Answer: Yes, the questions about penis size and virginity seems to sponsor endless discussion!
Answer: Because Google put Quora answers at the top of their search results when people search for a question they see the answer from Quora. Which is stupid because most answers on Quora aren't even correct lol. Idk why Google wants to promote that site, if they own it or they want to buy it and incorporate it into Google at some point. I think the site is awful and it should be shut down because it's just a propaganda site. You do not see Quora from any other search engine for example duckduckgo. But you see it in Google.
Answer: No, it is obviously leftist but it does on occasion allow questions or replies for short periods of time that are obviously uncomfortable to the "politicaly correct" crowd in a useless attempt to appear unbiased.
Answer: I honestly feel and highly suspect from certain traits that Quora pays Google to be high on the rank and they get *buddy buddy* with the government. Quora is essentially too big to fail. We no longer have capitalism but now live under governmentism which Trump pledges to end but can he? Does he really mean what he says? That is the million $ question.
