Web site will tell you if you spend a certain amount of money they will wave handling fees. Amount is removed on your cart bill but they add it back in on your your credit card final bill. Tried to cancel order and they refused to canel. Bait and switch rip off.
We purchased a home printer, and our credit card was charged twice. We have been receiving a run around from Quill.com for 3 months attempting to receive a credit back. Lame excuses like they are going through a software upgrade just aren't cutting it. The product is great, and we have no complaints with it. We will not recommend them or ever do business with them again.
First they told package is going to get deliver through UPS and then it came from staple, so bad packaging sent 4 dawn dish liquid and coffee mate together in 1 box, from which 1 dawn was open looked like they didn't even care to close the bottle cap which got open and then dawn was all over the coffee mate, packing tape, divider tab. Everything was filled with dawn I had to return dawn, coffee mate and divider tab and had to clean packaging tape really good. I had to return it and label they send me for UPS and told your replace package will be coming through UPS and again same staples to came to deliver the package and they didn't took the package saying it has UPS package which is right, when i initially called customer service for informed and told staples comes to deliver the package here still they told no that's fine still send it with the guy who comes to replace the order, they kept saying same thing when i was trying to inform them. After receiving the package again when i open to see surprise again coffee mate and dawn in same box, i had also told them strictly that i wont take the package if its deliver in same box. Called customer care they told yes there is note here saying to deliver both thing separately still send it together and when i told the lady, it seems that she didn't even bother. Looks like there is No communication between the departments. Manager don't even look what's happening what are the issue customer are facing and fix it, instead keep doing same mistake again and again. When you call best thing you get from them is sorry for inconvenience, we apologize, sorry to hear that. This is the best thing they have to have got so used to it and do it so well saying sorry. I am really disappointed with the service and not ordering anything else from quill here forward. I am done instead i can order from else where even the price is more. No management at all. Horrible service, someone need to teach all department what good customer service is. Was trying to upload photo but cant upload more than 5m file, maybe this also they have done purposely so customers cant upload more photo as a proof.

Invoice will give bill and after you pay it will ask you to pay invoice, guessing first payment didn't go through now you have to wait 24-48 hours to speak to representatives and for second payment to be returned.

I ordered on Oct 2 a phone case for my new Samsung galaxy s22 ultra, even paid 14.99 extra for it and still haven't received it. When I email them, 4 times so far, all I get is sorry it took so long to get back to me, be patient and tracking number. But when I go to tracking number all I get is in transit. That's it. No information where it is or estimated delivery date, nothing. And what upsets me the most is through Amazon I could Paid half the price and no extra for shipping and had it by now in 3 days.
I bought one of their phone case for my S22 Ultra. Came already cracked and the fingerprint sensor does not work. What happened to the hammers hitting the case with no scratches?
Customer service just kept trying to push a replacement. I've asked several times for a refund, no they just don't respond anymore. False advertising and disappearing when asked to do a return for a refund.

Poor experience. They dropped 8 cartons of paper I didn't order on my front porch. It was a mix-up on their end--I have not ordered products from this company in quite a while. The product remained on my front porch for a month, despite repeated requests to the company to have it picked up. UPS came by to pickup after a month had expired, but then they refused pickup because it was another company that delivered the product. Why didn't Quill have that information and proactively contact the correct shipping company? After several more days, a different delivery service picked up the product. Quill's warehouse refused the shipment, citing damage. I have been informed by Quill that 8 cartons of paper I did not order and do not want will be returned to my residence. Quill advised that I may keep the paper or donate it to a charity. I have been informed that I will not be charged, but I have my doubts. What a waste and colossal inconvenience from something I never wanted. Unacceptable.
Very disappointed with ordering from Quill. This is the 3rd try with them and still having issues. Our first time our items were damaged. Our second time half our shipment wasn't delivered when it showed delivered. Was told to wait some more days. Come to find out it was delivered to another office in the lobby area and no one knew it was for anyone as the delivery guys just dropped it against the wall off to the side behind a fake tree! Now again half the order is missing, says delivered, not left at the fake tree in the other office and definitely not at our office. I chat with them and they said tomorrow we should get it (maybe) and we are not in the office. They said they would just drop it outside. Thank you but by the time Monday comes my copy paper (20 reams) will be destroyed from the rain we will get. Hoping they wait until monday to deliver.
Just using them for small personal purchases but dealing with them is getting to the point where think I am going to stop due to annoying calls and emails. Ordered using credit card and called once about an email that said I owed them and didn't make the purchase and wasn't my credit card number. Another email last week said my credit card company denied my purchase; called credit card company and said they had no denials ever for my account. Called Quill and they processed my credit card payment. Goods received today and got call about paying over phone. Called and advised that my credit card statement shows the charge as Pending. Calls and emails are so annoying … they really need to get their act together and this appears not to be just a complaint from me. Phone number of calls is listed as robocaller on line due to annoying calls. Might have good deals but I think this may be my last purchase as would rather pay more and get reliable accounting as opposed to annoying phone calls and emails. Would advise to be cautious in using them.
I'm using Amazon from now on! At least amazon have a business account to order stuff and get discount and fast delivery and great customer service. Never will be using quill again
BE AWARE: Quill gives misleading delinquent reporting to Dunn and Brad street, regarding invoices/payments made online to their company with status "paid" and "completed," Are reported as 31 to 60 days past due Because of a glitch in their new invoice reporting system that they refuse to change/correct.
I placed an order and they did a great job on that. I'm fine on email marketing as i can delete those. But today I got hard copy junk mail arriving to my business. I don't do business with companies that care so little about the environment. I never opted in to get junk mail that pollutes the environment. They should reconsider their policies before they lose yet more customers. I'm done with them.
I was a Quill customer for 25+ years. They used to be a great company with great customer service. I don't know what happened there but their customer service is non-existent. Total incompetence.
They took my money and couldn't deliver what I ordered! I spoke to 3 different CM Service people and even someone in their so called "Tech Department" I asked for a refund since they could not fix the problem! They refused. That is a SCAM! I'm tired of dealing with these people and their return policy is BS! This transaction happened this morning and they still will not refund me! STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE!
Dealing with Quill has cost us extra money and time I wish I was putting towards our nonprofit's mission.
I've sent multiple emails trying to get our membership cancelled, and finally got a notice saying they would take our [heavily COVID impacted] nonprofit to collections for their $70 annual membership fee. The "deals" and "coupons" weren't worth it. Stay away.
If you're going to use an online store to buy supplies for convenience and low prices, use one that's actually cheaper. I did the math once, and an order that would have cost us $250 on another major online retailer would have costed closer to $400 on Quill - and yes, that's with all of the discounts and coupons I could apply.
Salespeople on the phone have been pushy far beyond politeness, tone-deaf, and don't like to hear "no" or "I don't need those supplies right now." We are a nonprofit that suffered major losses and very long closures due to COVID. During one of their [many] calls here, I explained we weren't using much in office supplies since we had been closed and would be for some months yet, and our income wasn't present anymore. Their response was to try and talk us into buying expensive and massive bulk amounts of cleaning supplies for a 2 person office that was closed.
Their "deals" and coupons have so many restrictions and tricks - nothing automatically applied except for paper, require digital clipping, adding to a clipboard, and applying to an order (but not too many to an order, and the value can't stack!) An example of the deals and coupons they offer? "FREE Two Packages Hand Sanitizing Wipes when you spend $99 -
$35 off when you spend $199 - FREE Golf Mug & Pen Set when you spend $99."
(Remember, these can't stack value, so you'd need to spend $400 to get the novelty mug, two packages of hand wipes, and $35 off.)
Not worth the higher prices, not worth the constant hassling and pushy salespeople, not worth the potential collections & credit issues.
Again, my experiences have been negative and dealing with Quill has cost us extra money and time I could be putting towards our mission.
If you've got the extra money to spend on buying supplies through Quill, spend it locally instead or put it towards a recovering nonprofit.
Feel free to google their scams and horrendous reviews. They highly filter their site to make them seem amazing and offer an abundance of fake unavailable products. Business need supplies. Quill offers outdated policies to go along with their fake items of office supplies that were not available for purchase. They will send a sad email never updating their inventory. There is zero customer service as they choose to respond with scripted bots. If you have a problem you are given a long wait time and never able to talk to a rep. You are subjected to manual scripted information that cut and paste their policies if you choose to contact the company by email. You are wasting your time and money and given the run around. Please see the picture of the scripted unhelpful service rep responses. Why bother? DO NOT RECOMMEND.
I have almost everything I've needed to purchase at a good price and if I ever have had a problem with anything their customer service team is always willing to fix the problem. A great website for companies to purchase products.
