Online links kept breaking and there were changes to organisation name which I was not informed about. Not everyone I spoke to, was informed. The process still took quite a while in my opinion. At times I felt uninformed by the company but towards the end, "actual people" were helpful.
If you can agree with your partner, it does speed things up and definitely the cheaper option than using solicitors.

Wasted my £199
July 27, 2023

Wasted my £199. It is much quicker and easier to apply directly through the government site at https://www.gov.uk/divorce and all can be done online. I engaged this company in early October '22. I quickly found out that they'd not offered all the options. As in we could have done a Joint Application if we'd known about it. I submitted the paperwork provided by Quickie Divorce and had issues from the start. According to the divorce court, because we'd started with a paper application everything had to be done via paper and Royal Mail, but they were very helpful and emailed documents when asked. In the end I had to engage with the divorce court web-chat service on 6 occasions to debug and chase the process and eventually got my Final Order 9 1/2 months after the initial application. Admittedly most of the issues we encountered were not Quickie Divorce's fault directly, but were caused by the fact that we did not engage with the divorce court directly from the start and get the full package of information as to how to proceed in the most efficient way. If we had done so, I'm sure that the process would have been much quicker and less stressful.

I paid £899 upfront and cancelled less than 24 hours later before using any services of theirs. However, because I activated my online account (as their email instructed) I have agreed to their T&Cs and cannot claim a refund! Credit card company cannot help either. Awful company, AVOID!

Scammers!
March 30, 2023

AVOID AVOID AVOID! Id give 0 stars if I could! Having a nightmare with this company. I paid £388 back in July 22, it's now March 30 and I'm no further along. I've asked for a refund over and over and was told I wasn't going to get one via email. They do absolutely nothing but send you out of date paperwork that the court rejects. You everything yourself with no help.
The last time I called 3 weeks ago and got sent through to voice mail of David. I left a message and he hasn't called back. So I've taken advice!
Scamming people trying to move on with their lives and causing unnecessary stress is absolutely unacceptable and should not be allowed!
Absolutely terrible company

Utterly appalling
February 23, 2023

No email sign off or contact information, spelling mistakes and typos in emails not very professional. Cite m a 14 day cooling off period for cancellation then refuse citing a waiver of. 7 day distance selling regulation which you waive by setting up an account to register, I cancelled less than 24 house after instructing them as I was so appalled if they could not get the basics tonight how could I expect them to get the important stuff right. Ask for a reference never give one, can't talk to people to complain you have to complete a form which is the same form you have to complete for cancellation. I will not give up I will get my money back as I cannot afford to lose £699z Utterly appalling service at a difficult and emotional time and I don't understand how Trustlokot reviews are so good, wish I had seen these reviews before I signed up.

Happy Customer
July 21, 2022

This was a great service, very easy to use website and was updated at each step of the way. The service was cheap and didn't take long to complete, I'd recommend Quickie Divorce and would definitely use them again if I ever had to.

Scamming people out of money is their business. PLEASE Look at all the heartbreaking results on all review sites before embarking on a disastrous journey with this 'company' and ending up like me, out of pocket and feeling duped. Don't join a long list of unhappy people who thought like me they were going to be helped. There are no named faces in the 'company' correspondence is not addressed or signed off in a normal manner, emails end with Quickie Divorce or Managed Divorce avoiding names. Fundamentally they are a CALL CENTRE. I am going to do my level best to expose this so called company as they are nothing more than CON ARTISTS masquerading as a professional company. Giving one star feels like rewarding them for stealing my hard earned money, but as we all know, one cannot complete a review without awarding something!

Terrible company to deal with SCAM
December 12, 2021

Terrible company to deal with. Try to trick customers into forfeiting their legal right to 14 day refund. I cancelled within 24 hours, having not used the service or even logged in and asked for a refund as is my right within the distance selling regulations. Quickie Divorce are refusing to issue refund 3 weeks later. They keep putting up barriers: asked me to create and activate the online account and submit a complaint (there wasn't even an option to submit the complaint once logged in), stating I need to wait 28 days for them to review the case, providing misleading information, sending me to another website to create a second account to submit the complaint (which didn't work and just showed an error upon submitting details), saying someone will call back (but never did). They keep saying they are unable to issue a refund. They are breaking consumer law and I feel I have been scammed.
The main thing here, as highlighted in other reviews is the disgraceful tactic of forcing customers to log into the service and activate it in order to request a refund, and in the process having to tick a box to forfeit the 14 day distance selling refund to access the account and be able to even request a refund (see attached email correspondence). THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN BY TRADING STANDARDS.

Do not waive your 14 day cooling off period.
I have a complaint with the system of logging in. You are asked to waive your 14 day cooling off period to proceed.

In my case, once logged in I was asked to go to the government website to get the court number to proceed. And this was the part that had been tricky for me, which is why I thought I needed help, but once I did go on the Gov.uk website again, I sailed through the procedure myself quite easily within 30 mins.

I had paid £67 for nothing, the very next day I applied for a refund and was told to go to log in to a special complaint procedure of which I already knew was going to be a waste of time. I phoned today (5 weeks later) after not hearing back, and was told I was sent an email as to the decision. (It was resent)
" Prior to accessing the questionnaire you are required to agree the Terms & Conditions it requires acceptance of this and it instructs internet visitors to refrain from using our website or services if they do not agree to the relevant conditions. We note from your account that after purchase you logged into your account and specifically agreed to our Terms and Conditions. This enabled you to have access to software, advice and services delivered as part of your purchase."

My advice is to try your best to see if the government website is easy. (It was for me after my 2nd attempt)

I do feel cheated, because it was so easy by the government website. But know that it can be more complicated for others.
And yet I waived my 14 day cooling off period because of feeling I was so desperate for help. (And so this is on me).

So hope others look to be more cautious and not click on the "waive your 14 day cooling off period.

REFUND T&C's a trap!
August 31, 2019

Please be aware you cannot get a refund at all despite their website saying you are able to get a refund!

I purchased online and paid £67 and changed my mind the next day as i wanted to work on my relationship. I called customer service and advise i wanted to get a refund and no work had started on my account as yet. I was then sent a link in which to submit my refund request online which required me to log into my account.
1 month passed and after multiple follow ups on the status of my refund i was then told my refund was rejected based on the below T&C's which i accepted upon purchase, which is different to the refund T&C's plastered on the website

I acknowledge that by moving forward and logging in to the administrative section of the website I will be utilising the company's automated software (where the computer software is unsealed' by the computer immediately on entry). I understand that in doing so I will lose my seven day Distance Selling Regulations cancellation period.
This is a complete trap as you can NEVER get a refund because the whole refund process requires you to log into your account, however in doing so you lose your refund based on the deceiving T&C's you accepted.
This is the worst company i have ever dealt with and is cheating people out of their money

They just want your money. Want you to steer down the path of their templates to make the work easier for them. If you want any changes made - tough luck. They take your money and run, they don't care.

Conned
July 4, 2018

Not been through a divorce before when I signed up initially it was for the cheap as chips deal. Then customer services called me and I asked if they did a full package deal where they submit everything for you etc. I was not told that even in the full deal you had to pay the extra submission fee of £550 to the court.
Within 48 hours I had asked for a refund and had not used any of their services. This request has been declined.

Stay well clear and just submit your own forms online through the government website.

I will be taking this further.
