I found the puppy I was looking for right away. The search engine makes it easy to narrow the search to specifically the location, price, breed, etc.

We have a very smart Blenheim 9 year old girl. She loves everyone so after taking my friends 2 year old cavalier for 15 days while my friend was laid up, my husband said we should really get a second dog for Holly to train for us. So, Google helped me find puppies.com and I spent weeks looking on the website. Eventually when the perfect dog and price showed up I spoke with the breeder, we agreed on the pickup time frame, price, etc. This lady was phenomenal. The dog is a jackpot!

I looked through Craigslist, Marketplace, and on line for a Ching Charles Cavalier Spaniel,, had hundreds of choices showing exactly what I was searching for,, however all the sellers demanded a deposit from 100 to several hundred dollars to "start the paperwork" for the adoption,, seemed all the sellers were out to scam the buyer,, and I always said no deposit or monies changes hands till I see the puppy in person,, This seller on Puppies.com
Never asked for a deposit,, we just set up an appointment time,, they gave the addresss before we left, met the Breeder, and the puppy received all the paperwork, some puppy food and we were on our way back home,, so very happy with the adoption and the Breeder,, they were first class in every respect,, thank you

I contacted 3 sellers on this site. I really wanted a puppy or youngster. Really the younger the better as 1 have 4 cats. One person wrote back to me within a day. 3 year old dog. Another took a day or two (the puppy I purchased). BUT puppy's face that I originally fell in love with? Well the seller never got back to me. I was so disappointed, but that dog was 8 months old. I really wanted a puppy so I went with youngest one, my second choice. I've had her less than 24 hours. When I got her home she was shaking like a leaf. When we entered the house I went straight foenthe food and sat with her petting her feeding her from my palm. Gradually all 4 cats came to check her out. She slept in the dining room in her crate last night. She woke about 5 am and needed to go outside and was howling in her kennel. (She was a farm dog so not house broken yet). I carried her outside put her in the grass and she immediately emptied her bladder. I wandered around our fenced yard with her for b a few minutes and she actually pooped as well. I allowed her to come back to bed with me since I knew my sheets needed leaning and she was unbathed. We slept till 9 am. She is now my new best friend. The whole time I was making the bed today her snout kept popping up over the edge of the mattress, whining and wanting up on the bed. She os nervous of the car, but we are taking daily drives with rewards. 1st bath in my huge kitchen sink, was a great success. FYI PetSmart carries puppy shampoo that smells like baby lotion. It will melt your heart to sniff your puppy. And she is so smart. She has learned to walk with collar, now a harness after taking a car ride to PetSmart, sits, and gives hugs. Tomorrow I'm taking her to the local park and lake. I think I have a dog life vest that will fit her. Mocha, now Mokey, is living her best life. I realize a life lesson, OUR 1st choice may not be God's 1st choice for you. So if you are in a second marriage or third marriage this does not means that your spouse wasn't God's 1st choice after all.
