Paid my rent with credit card at the beginning of the month, but they can't seem to give me credit for the payment. The people who charged my credit card can't help me. I called corporate and they can't help me. Kept trying to collect twice. Horrible experience, will never do business with them again. Keep getting harassing emails about not paying rent. They need better billing systems and better customer service. So sad.
Public storage is one of the worst companies I have come in contact with. Constantly increasing rents, changing the terms while in contract. In addition, they have a policy to sell your products from your storage even though you make a payment the same month. Then they protect the storage buyer identity, over the fact that you have been a loyal customer over the past few years. Lastly, which is probably the worst part, they have a subsidiary in CA (close to the HQ) that takes the profit from the sale. You have to write to them (in paper) even to claim the money that they made off your sale. Also, the company is managed as a trust, where the payout to the board of directors is horrendous each year. If you think about the companies you want to do business with, trust you stuff with - this is not one of them.
I called and she explained my bill very well and rates and she also very kind and the store was very clean
In late July of 2021 I rented a storage unit from Public Storage in Lake Worth FL. I was informed by my mover that the rate I was quoted might be short term and that I should inquire about that issue with Public Storage. I was informed by a customer service rep that my rate would not go up in the first six months and after that "if" it went up it would only be a $10-$20 increase. I have recently been informed by Public Storage that my rate is going up $60 a month. Renter Be Ware- If I had known that Public Storage would act in bad faith and lie to me about my rate increase I would not have rented storage space from them. Do not rent from this dishonest and fraudulent company!
In addition, Public Storage has purposely created a lack of communication in an effort to delay my payments in an effort to create late payment charges to my account.
Great woman named Erin helped me in my time of need she works at several locations but Palm Bay fl is was the location she assisted me. Erin was prompt in finding me a storage facility that was climate controlled fast and easy and even gave me the special that was available for that unit thank you so much.
HiHaving to make a sudden move I went to Public storage and Mrs Catherine was pleasent when asked about pricing I was put at ease if you want wonderful business I think public storage on Covington hwy is the place to go I know I will.
I have never left a bad review. Now I wish I could leave negative stars. I know Public Storage is huge and sometimes the only choice. I wish I had found another company. These people lied and cheated us. They charged us two extra weeks on the front end and three extra weeks on the back end of a contract for three storage units. This came to over $1000. Yes, the contract did say we had to pay the entire month. They pointed that out after we moved out and the account was closed. Before that they said we would receive a refund for the last three weeks. The whole thing was very complicated so this may not make sense. Bottom line, we were told and promised one thing and they did another. The worst part is that I tried to talk with someone and got the slickest run around ever. When you call customer service they say you can speak with the executive team. They give you a number, you call and get a voicemail, and no one ever calls back. I even tried emailing and was told to call the original number. The whole experience was a nightmare. And I got the impression that they are used to doing this. I rue the day I signed up with Public Storage. I hope others don't have to go through the same thing.
Was charging me double for a 10ft unit. $300 damn dollars a month when it's a $160 month unit. Obliviously covid didn't affect his stealing $#*! because that's what he is a thief. Glad I got my belongings out of that storage. Uhaul Storage is charging the correct prices for units. And FYI don't use either Ez Storage or Extra Space Storage the public storage i was using in Frederick Maryland on Grove rd was Extra Space Storage and turned into Public Storage. The day I got my belongings it was at least 12 people there moving out of the unit and we were all being charged between $300 to $500 a month on units double the price or more

The rent goes up every few months. I started off paying 99 dollars and it went up to 180. And on top of that I could not get a prorated amount when I moved out. I'll will never use them again

These people lure you in with cheap rates and then after you get all you stuff in their storage units they then proceed to raise your rent by double within a year. They are super greedy and as soon as I can get my stuff out I will NEVER use their facility again. I will tell everyone I know to not use them. They are super greedy and they don't care.
Manager was very helpfully in explaining everything that i needed to know, place was exactly what i needed and place is clean and security is also helpful.
I am moving into my new home and needed a storage unit like asap. I went into the Madison location and was getting with a smile by Mandy. She showed the units and was able to answer all questions I had. Thanks again to Mandy & Public Storage for making my transition easy peasy
Public Storage in Westfield, IN raised my rent from $164. To $213.00 (29.8%) no justification for this outrageous increase other than because they can. They said I should have know it's a month to month rental. I guess I

The PS employee, Shana, was so helpful and the friendliest we ever had the pleasure of working with. We have rented from PS in Hilton Head for twenty plus years. First at the location near the Airport then at the one near the Sea Pines gate! We must have interrupted her 7 or 8 times as she was working in the office! We had to purchase boxes, wrappings, and paper but never knew how much to get so consequently had to make numerous trips! She was a good sport, never lost patience, and even bid us a farewell with "I'll miss you all -- good luck!" She's a keeper...
