They will Jack your rent up without any notice. And if you're one day late the late vehicle can be upwards of $50. If you leave a bad review and complain they will call you and tell you it's an algorithm that automatically jacks your rent up without warning. Then, a few months later it will happen again. Just don't waste your time with the stress and find another storage place.
Karen was very helpful and sweet made my move alot easier and she was very welcoming. I ended up renting the wrong size and she was very fast and helpful at getting me a bigger one
My unit got broken into today and I was informed that they have NO ALARMS and that someone was in the building stealing things (from my unit and others) for 10 hours! Do not assume these big companies have alarm systems. Always ask!

This by far would be the worse, the storage use to be call 360 now that public storage has taken over its going to $#*!. The Lil girl who thinks she can call your phone when she wants to need to be fired... call your momma on sundays... best thing to do is call Bertha... DM... she need to fire these poor excuse for workers...

These are the worst people todesl with. Beware. Oh yea firstmonth free. But they put crazyhigh late fees, admin fees, they do not and will not work with you period. They are quick to auction your stuff they do not care about their customers. period.if you dont agree now. You will when youre a few days late. Told you so
I had a storage unit with them on Johnson in El Cajon, CA. For years until I had a heart attack and missed a lot of work and they would not work with me to pay what I could until I went back to work. Then they sold my still for a $110 like it was nothing. This storage had sentimental value to me. All my pictures and momentos I paid monthly for 4 years and they kept raising the price. When I missed a payment after my heart attack they charged outrageous late fees. Needless to say they have no compassion or customer loyalty. I urge everyone who needs a storage space DO NOT GET ONE FROM Public STORAGE. PICK ANOTHER PLACE
For OVER ONE damn year a 2 door storage place has had only ONE real working door

This is the worst storage business I have ever dealt with! Their prices are crazy and constantly increasing and their late fee is absolutely ridiculous. Customer service is terrible! You would think during a pandemic a company might try to sympathize with its customers. I had asked if I could change my due date for my bill because I was being charged the late fee every month because of my pay dates and currently living pay check to paycheck- nope. Can't waive the fee either, god forbid. The topping on the cake- I finally found an apartment and my move in date is the 12th of the month, can you believe I have to pay for the FULL month when I'm not even using the unit for half the month! I have learned my lesson and will never use this storage facility again and I will make sure any friends or family stay far away as well. There are many good, fair companies out there but this is not one of them!
I will not recommend public storage at all. I have been renting a unit for two years. I started paying around $150/month and now two years later I am paying $325 because my rent goes up every few months for no reason that I can tell. In addition, when my autopay got interrupted due to me replacing my credit card, I could not change it in the website or app. While I tried to resolve it via phone, my payment became overdue and now public storage refuses to waive the late fee, even though I called several times trying to resolve the credit card problem. The phone in the included email has an automated system only to pay, but when transferred to a representative, it rings and rings and nobody answers. You have to call many times until somehow you get a person, but then, extremely rude customer service people on the phone. They hung up on me several times. DO NOT RENT UNITS FROM THIS COMPANY. They take advantage that your stuff is stored in their units, so you really have to pay any fees or prices increases or they will seize your things. The worst experience for me in renting storage units. I do not recommend them, even more, I would encourage you not to use them and even more, if you are using them, look for another company to move your stuff, which is what I am doing.

On my moving into my space a week ago (at 367 Southern Boulevard, Bronx), these three individuals (Sean, Christine, and Portia) were soo friendly, yet very professional. Made me have a great move-in experience.
