The fact that they are used in any official capacity is a joke. To see that they are used at the federal level for testing just goes to show you the FEDs have a combined IQ of 50. Everyone involved at this organization and anyone who collaborates with them or pushes them to be used for testing should be sentenced to hang.
I attempted to schedule an online exam. PSI's website put me in a loop, to schedule an exam click here, I did, next page to schedule this exam click here - back to the first page.
So I called, I was informed in the voice recording that I would have resolution within 24 hours. I received no call, no email. So I am back on the phone waiting and waiting and waiting.
I have at this moment been on hold waiting for the next available representative for 1 hour and 50 seconds.
A truly awful experience.
Who owns this company? Clearly this company has become a monopoly paid for by hard working taxpayers which does not care about anything besides grants and subsidies. I've taken a test here twice. The first time I could read the 420p resolution but the second exam had less than 240. Unfortunately I am required to take another exam with the company so I can keep my job. They will not answer or call me back after leaving multiple messages. It looks like I'm going to be on unemployment now without lack of trying. I HATE this, good luck.
After more than two hours waiting for online exam for AWS Certified Solution Architect Associate, can't contact anyone during the process. Filed a support case ask for reschedule and they send in my test result as "failed" next business day.
Here is the details: I scheduled the test for Oct 3, Saturday.
1. I scheduled the exam for 10 am and start to launch the exam at 9:30 per requirement and completed "check-in" at 10:02 am.
2. After 15 min max waiting time I start to contact them with their chat support every 5 to 10 min without any response.
3. After 55 min wait, the proctor told me "Hello there, sorry for the delay"; "I will now release your exam". Then "Could you please try to close your browser and launch it again".
4. I did relaunch the browser and waited more than another hour, and nothing happened despite my many attempts to communicate with their chat support and no response.
5. Later I opened a case with their support and got no response. On the following Monday they send in my test result as "failed".
What a joke? Keep away from this company!
I took my test multiple times however the day I passed September 21st, their printer just so happened to not be working. They allowed me to view PASS notification on their screen and said i would be receiving an email at the one I used to log in. I TRUSTED them to be professional and get things done for me. The following day(22nd), I still never received the Email so I decided to call the PSI contact center. I was put on hold multiple times, which I could partially understood because of a lower number of workers due to covid. When I finally spoke to someone they assured me that they were expediting my Email concerns to the core office as Urgent matter, could take 3-5 days. I waited the days, nothing. I called back, they told me that I needed to wait the 3 business days Not from the Day I took my test but from the day I first called, but that a hard copy was being sent to me by mail and that i would received in 5-7 business days so to wait until Tuesday the 29th Just incase. I waited, even waited EXTRA because I didn't want to argue. It is now October the 4th and still Nothing. NO Email, No Hard Copy in USPS mail Box. I call back. Now am being told my request didn't got out until the 26th, (passed 21St, called 22nd, 24th been told had already gone out) and that it takes 7-10 business days to receive through snail mail. I have also now been on hold for 2 hours today when I was told I would get a call back within 30 minutes and instead I chose to Wait.
I scheduled my exam online remote, logged in on the exam day and the online proctor didn't bother showing up. I understood they could have had an issue, so I wrote asking for assistance rescheduling the exam. An automatic response told me they would get back to me within 24 hours. 3 days later, after getting np response, I contacted them again. The same automatic response. 5 contact attempts, no response. My money was not refunded. I could never take the exam. I got no responses.

System equipment failed during exam. I was in the middle of an exam and the system shuts down. CS was called and they are horrible. The exam questions were tricky and were nothing like the information studied on their program. Will report them to better business for faulty system software as well as taking my money. Based on other reviews looks like they owe plenty of refunds. Wish I read the reviews before spending my money and taking the exam. After finally completing exam results were not give I was told to wait 3-5 business days. CS is def not to be trusted or taken seriously.
Called 5 times and emailed over 3 times to just get a call a week later and they were zero help. The actual testing site is dirty and ran with zero professionalism. The are running a complete scam and hope they go out of business. If I could give them one star I would.
Chairs very uncomfortable I almost died of pain in my neck while taking the exam. They should
Buy a new chairs or put down they computers to make the you take the test comfortable.
I'm enraged at the fact I ever have this place money. I paid them 180$ thus far for 2 insurance exams that I never even got to take. Had an appointment for in person. My location stated they were closed so I called. After 6 hours YES I SAID 6 hours on HOLD, I finally got someone who hung up on me. He did call me back and told me I had to take a proctored spent another 3 hours remotely in my computer downloading stuff for this exam. He told me I was good to go I launch my exam and boom my exam stated it was already submitted. Since then I have spent 3 more days 12+ hours a day and I am not exaggerating trying to fix the problem. They continue to transfer me or have me on hold. They told me I would not pay however I checked my account and there were all the charges that I now have disputed through the bank. The tech support has no idea what to do and I'm now convinced after having to scan my ID over 32 times. They installed something in my computer to gather personal information or something. They have every excuse in the book as to why it's MY FAULT when al my system tests pass, when I'm Ethernet hooked to the router and I called to upgrade to the fastest wifi with my own private wifi network. This is an effin joke. I regret ever dealing with them. They have stressed me out and the best part is they asked me for my email over 70 times and not once have I received an email. It took me going off the rocker to get a damn ticket number. Not worth it they suck, and they should be shut down. Their proctor had me kicked out for using Skype when I don't even have skype downloaded to my computer and had it wiped out by geek squad prior to trying to even test. But they told me I did that. Okay cause when the guy remotely logged in he saw for himself that there was nothing social media attached to this computer. And he then claimed "I assure you it will be fixed." Well PSI I assure you, I will write a comment on every single site I come across with your b. S of a "proctored exam," and I assure you that you asses will not be ruining people's job opportunities due to your laziness and lack of tech skills.
I had a scheduled test for today, I checked on their site if my laptop would be compatible for their site, it ended up that it wasn't since I have a Chrome OS, their tech support took 45 mins to response and after I was told I couldn't use my computer, I had to drive for 20 mins to be able to use another computer. I tried calling their customer services and I was on hold for 2 hours and my call was dropped. I submitted emails and still no reply, this has truly been a horrible experience and I wouldn't recommend them to any one. It's beyond me why they are used as a testing site if they have the worst customer services.
The experience I had with these folks was hell. From taking photo frames off the wall of my house to removing a bottle cap from my desk just to write an exam was UNBELIEVABLE. I just could not do anything right. As if that was not enough the proctor asked me repeatedly to close all social media apps even though he/she could clearly see the only app opened on my Task Manager was Chrome. The worst of it all is that you have to communicate through a Chat window and they take about 4-5mins to respond. I am surprised WGU still uses them even with all the negative feedback. This company is the WORST of the WORST. Jeez!
An I leave less than 1 Star? Worst company ever. My CEO shows up for his scheduled test and they tell him it was canceled (wasting 3 hours of travel time to get there). No phone call no nothing. Didn't even tell him how to reschedule. Cut to us emailing PSI twice in three weeks with no response. Finally got an 800 number to call and was on hold for 2 HOURS before they kindly just hung up on me. Unbelievable and now have no choice but to try again. Better believe they'll be getting a bill from us for all the wasted time.
Waited on hold for over an hour to not have my issue resolved. Lady on phone seemed very confused and under qualified.
Like all the other reviews here, I was on hold for 1hr and 30mins and then gave up. Next day, tried for 60minutes, nothing. Sent an email 10 days ago and ZERO response. Sent another one, zero response. We are all trying to progress with our careers and we cant because this company is extremely unprofessional. Then sign up online? I cant, it told me I had to contact Psi directly. This company is beyond a joke.
If someone starts a petition for change I would gladly sign it.

Hope you never have to deal with PSI for any type of testing. Had a problem signing up for a contractor exam. When trying to sign up kept receiving a server error. Website is useless as far as contact information and even if you do manage to find where they have hidden it, don't expect a response. By far the worst experience I have ever had trying to work with a company. I guess since they know they are the only path in some cases customer service is of no priority. If the state officials who mandate the use of this service had to deal with what the candidates do they would be off the job tomorrow. I wish there was a class action lawsuit I could sign on to because I'd do it in a heartbeat.
Sadly Ive had to deal with this company multiple times for licensing in alabama and georgia. This has been the worst experience by far. They canceled my test due to covid which I understand but never notified me when testing centers would be back opened and I could reschedule. Tried for weeks to get through with no answer. After calling back to back for several hours I finally got through for them to tell me my application expired and I have to pay again. When I asked why I wasn't informed of new schedule date she replied with "how do we know you will read your emails or answer the phone if we call?" To which I replied how am I supposed to know when you will resume testing? She replied "we don't know, were in the middle of a pandemic!" When I asked to speak to her superior she informed me that she has no superiors and neither does Donald trump and hung up on me. Can't make this stuff up. Contacted georgia secretary of state to see what can be done. But probably nothing. PSI stole my money and trolled me!
It is frustrating and sad to be a nurse who is trying to take a test to achieve a certification which will allow me to treat patients better and get this type of treatment. Horrible customer service. Lack of professionalism and empathy. I called multiple times just to be able to schedule my exam. Was on hold for at least an hour every time. Never got an apology from anybody and was treated like I owe them something. I "got disconnected" twice after an hour hold. When I called the third time, I asked to speak to the supervisor. Spoke to Amanda. Explained to Amanda the lack of professionalism and empathy from her staff. The answer I received was: "ok, how can I help you". Never received an apology for the way I was treated and was again talked down to. When I asked Amanda to talk to her superior she said she stated " I am the supervisor and there is nobody higher than me".
I had such a hard time scheduling my exam, their website is extremely hard to navigate. I actually wasn't able to do it, and I'm not a stranger to technology either. So I emailed them and got an automatic response telling me I would get a real reply within 24 hours. 15 days later and I have still received no response. Disappointed is actually an understatement.

Answer: Complete and total scam! Run for your life do not use this company under any circumstances you will not get your certificate or license or whatever you're coming here for! They've taken my money twice and I still have nothing to show for it they've lost my test, a digital test that was watched by video for 2 hours by someone. Please tell me how that happens, now I'm at risk of losing my job because I can't get my license. This place literally is about to ruin my life. Go anywhere but here.
