I'm honestly not sure how this company is still in business. I so wish I had read the reviews before allowing my daughter to order her prom dress from them. The dress not only looks completely different than the picture, it is also 18" longer than I requested! I sent in numerous pictures showing how long the dress is including a picture with a measuring tape next to the dress showing the actual length and their response was that I am measuring incorrectly and that they are 100% sure it is fine as they measured it before it was sent out. Based on the other reviews, it doesn't sound like there is any chance of me getting a refund but I am considering allowing my bank to try to dispute the charge but it probably won't work either. This company is a joke, do not order anything from them ever!

DISAPPOINTMENT

We ordered a prom dress on this site and were very disappointed. The quality of material was poor, the sizing was wrong and the look did not match what the picture showed us. We tried to return dress but got a rejection numerous times. They did not want to pay the return fee or out of country fees to get it returned to them. We ultimately ate the costs and got only a 5% "discount" for our dress. WE WERE VERY DISAPPOINTED! And we had to buy another dress which was an added expense to the already expensive event.

Before ordering my dress, i read many reviews that were both good and bad. This made me nervous, but I decided to order the dress anyways. It did end up being $50 more than the stated price, but still under $200 which was the price of many other dresses. My dress came about a week early! The color matched, and it is pretty. However, the waist measurements were wrong and there are like cardboard boob things which give my boobs a weird shape. Slightly annoyed. Going to get it tailored today. Decent dress, especially for all of these terrible reviews.

Ridiculous

I paid 166 for my dress and beads were falling off, the designs were not symmetrical, the dress it self wasnt even, i asked for my waits to be 32 and it was big. And they said everything looked find so i couldnt get a refund except for 6% which is $9. Seriously not buying anything from them again.

If you have money to throw away and you want to just flush it down the toilet then go ahead and ignore my review. Otherwise, Be aware, this http://www.prombelle.com/ is a scam site. I purchased a dress that was priced at $119 and I ended up paying $230. When i received the dress it was not what I had purchased. The quality was poor, the measurements were completely off, the dress did not fit at all, and the length of the dress was twice my height. When i email the company ( because they do not have a 1800 number, they did not answer., it took 7 emails on different days for them to acknowledge the email. Their answer was that they can not do refunds. Under no circumstance. They suggested for me to go get the dress tailored in my local area. And pay additional to fix the dress. THIS IS THE WORSE COMPANY THAT I HAVE DONE BUSINESS WITH...

Wish we found these reviews sooner. My wife discovered this site while looking for our daughter's prom dress. She placed the order before we read the fine print. After reading, we had asked questions through the online chat service. The "chatter" was indignant that we dared to ask questions about our purchase & disconnected the chat.

We immediately cancelled afterwards. Their return policy clearly reads "cancellations must be received in less than 6-hours." Our cancellation was sent in 15-minutes after ordering; I have email receipts confirming this. However, PromBelle is denying that the order was cancelled within the time allowed.

Everyday since we have cancelled, a different customer service agent emails us that we owe them 50% because we cancelled. I have responded multiple times in a very professional manner that we cancelled due to their unprofessional behavior within the allowed time and that we are not going to pay them $0.01, let alone 50%.

I have contacted my credit card to dispute the charge. On my last email, I advised them of this & their response was that they are now going to double-charge my credit card.

Just stay away.

TOTAL SCAM!

Is anyone out there interested in finding a way to out these guys and screw them as they have screwed us? I tried writing a bad review, however it is "under review" much like my dress is 'under tailoring". Any ideas from anyone what we can do? I am sick of this kind of crap going on! These are our daughter's dresses they are messing with! I am going to go on Facebook and send a note out to the public and ask everyone to share to never buy from PROMBELLE.COM. Anyone else interested in doing so?

I wish I came across this site when we ordered my daughter's dress from prombelle. My first clue that this was going to be bad was when they emailed me and said the dress was still being tailored but rest assured it will make it to us before the prom. TAILORED? I didn't order anything custom. Then it arrived in a DHL plastic bag and Oh wow, was it ugly! It's a cheap knock off! Cheap material, bad workmanship, bad stitching, dress was gathered on one side from stitching mess up, beads and sequence was flimsy and hanging off, threads sticking out. Wrong size. Wrong length. Wrong everything. Customer service will not respond to refund money.
My question is, with so many bad reviews, why is this sweatshop not shut down yet? I suspect there's child labor going on. Someone should investigate and stop this fraudulent business from operating.
In the meanwhile, any advise on how to get our money back?

I am greatly displeased with prombelle's customer service. There was a mix up with my measurements-by ten inches! When I contacted them they agreed to make a new dress with the correct measurements for an additional $80, which after already spending $183 and having nothing to show for it, I agreed to. I had to request a confirmation of the $80 new dress twice, and when they responded days later, they told me to "pls find a cheaper store" and refused to honor their agreement. They are slow in responding, each time you email them it goes to a different service representative, almost all of which are unprofessional and not very helpful, and I cannot find a way to contact them by phone.

Pictures on websites are deceiving, the dress I received was nothing like the picture advertised. The material was cheap and the cut of the dress was terrible, I swear it looked like a Halloween costume. They do not have a direct contact number, they operate only through an email (*******@prombelle.com). I sent an email including pictures of the dress received to compare the MASSIVE, UNSUBTLE differences of the dress they display on their site. Their response was even more astonishing. Quoted in their exact words "I can not tell out big problems, so we suggest you keep the dress and FORGET about the subtle error of the dress, since all dresses are hand made, it is inevitable that some tiny mistakes will be made during the process of tailoring, hope your understanding". After several emails back and forth (and not even with the same person) they not once offered an exchange. The last email received a "rep" Kris sends me a list of 3 rules in order to "qualify " for a refund--> 1 You can get a refund for Defective, Damages or Mishipped Items, Size Deviation & Color Mismatch problems. 2. Dresses that do not not fit properly but in accordance with the specifications you ordered cannot be returned or exchanged. 3. You are not allowed to exchange or refund for the situation of "Everything is right, but I just don't like".
They are not willing to refund or exchange. They are completely fraud. $200 down the drain and my sisters prom is in a few weeks. Please do not purchase from this site. I am trying to report these people and make sure this site is shut down for good.

My fiancée purchased a white dress from this company. The dress was delivered with an obvious red mark on the material. We took pictures of the flawed dress in the box and contacted them the same day it was delivered. Not only did we need to contact them multople times to get a response, but they refused the redund stating it wasn't shipped with the mark on it (like we love buying dresses, drawing on them with red pen, and then returning them same day).

We have sent multiple emails asking to return this product at this point, and while they have conceded that the flawed product 'may have been' there fault, they still refuse to accept the return and are currently asking us to try to remove the mark ourselves.

You cannot advertise a 7 day guaranteed return policy and refuse to honor it. Don't do business with this ripoff website--their products are cheep and they treat their customers like garbage.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. I ORDERED A DRESS THAT REQUIRED BEADING. WHEN I GOT THE DRESS, ALL THE BEADS WERE LOOSE AND COMING OFF. PLUS THE FIT WAS NOT "CUSTOM" LIKE I PAID FOR. THEY WORK OUT OF CHINA SO THERE IS NO RETURNING OR ASKING FOR HELP. I SENT THEM PICTURES AND THEY SAID THE DRESS IS BEAUTIFUL, "WE ARE GOING TO LET YOU KEEP THE DRESS AND GET 5$ OFF YOUR NEXT PURCHASE". ARE YOU KIDDING ME? 40 EMAILS LATER THEY ARE STILL SAYING THE SAME THING. THEY WILL GIVE YOU CRAP AND THEN CALL YOU A LIAR FOR YOUR COMPLAINTS.

Beware!

As I stated in my previous review, this company is horrible! Ordered 2 dresses at the same time, one was completely the wrong color top and bottom was a cheap polyester. I was a little more optimistic about the 2nd one because it was beautiful. That was until my daughter tried it on. The fabric was several layers thick and all bunched up inside and it showed horribly. Took the dress to our alterations shop and she removed 2 unnecessary layers and we went back for another fitting. Unfortunately it still looked like she was wearing a slip that had ridden up and was bunched up in front. Seamstress tried again, went back today and although she took the dress apart again, she said there really wasn't anything more she could do. She said although it was a beautiful dress, it was honestly one of the worst made dresses she had ever seen. We paid her for her work, left and went and ordered a dress from a reputable prom dress supplier. So I'm out the $350 I paid for the original 2 dresses, the alterations expense to try to correct it, and now the new dress. Long story short... Sure didn't save any money by ordering from a "discounted site"/PromBelle! Do not waste your money or time! The dresses are made in Hong Kong and they operate under numerous website names, all with the same financial address in London. Scam company!

DO NOT ORDER FROM PROMBELLE. I ORDERED MY DAUGHTER A PROM DRESS AND WHAT I RECEIVED WAS TO TOTAL DIFFERNT DRESS. THEY WILL NOT GIVE ME A REFUND, AS THEY SAY THE DRESS IS CORRECT. I HAVE BEEN EMAILED BY 9 DIFFENERNT PROMBELLE SCAM ARTIST AND MORE THAN 15-20 EMAILS, WITH THE SAME OLD RUN AROUND. I BELIEVE ITS THE SAME PERSON CHANGING THERE NAME. THEY SAY CUSTOM MADE... HOW SO, YOU NEVER ASKED FOR MEASUREMENTS! IM PUTTING THE WORD OUT ON THIS FRADULENT COMPANY. I DONT WANT ANY OTHER PERSON GETTING SCAMMED BY THIS CON! We ordered the dress on the model and received the total wrong dress! With the dress and shipping its was close to $200. I'm a single mother who saved to get my daughter her prom dress and now stuck with this rag. I am so disappointed. My daughters one and only prom ruined by there horrible people.

This company is a fraud. They upload pictures of designer dresses but actually just send you an extremely low quality knock off. The inflate the "original price" of the dress and then offer it at a huge "discount" to make it seem like a good deal. They also pretend to have a "flash sale" to pressure you to buy the dress, but notice that if you refresh the page, the countdown for the "flash sale" starts over. There is absolutely no return policy. This place is a scam and I am so angry at myself for not doing more research before buying. Don't listen to the fake positive reviews.
The dress I received was extremely poor quality with super cheap, gaudy sequins in place of beading The color was nothing like it looked.

They refused to take back a dress that is way to big and to top it off they wanted pictures of my daughter measuring her breasts, waist and hips. We already sent pics of her in the dress and her measurements. I informed them that soliciting a minor to distribute pornographic pictures of herself is illegal here. So they asked for her measurements again I think that's the 4th time. We have been going back and forth on this for over a month and they have no intention of taking it back even though they sent a dress that was way to big. DONT ORDER FROM THEM ITS FRAUD

I just wanted to let everyone know about the policies of Prombelle.
I Know that many if you, Just as I, have had the very same problems... garment is the wrong size and also the wrong color.
I have received an offer of a 5% refund and also may keep the useless dress... if I look through the atic I may find an old doll of my daughters that it may fit... I ask everyone that reads this review to NEVER order from this company and also to write reviews as to the reason why you did not order anything from them

Rec'd my daughter's prom dress less than three weeks after ordering. Ordered a "pink" but the dress looks a little "pinky/peach". Looks well made, size is correct! Daughter loves dress! Although I was nervous as to if it would arrive, and what it would look like, we are both very please! Thank You Prombelle!

Ordering was fine, payment easy and they communicated well about the dress being tailored and then shipped. We chose to send exact measurements to customize and hopefully cut out a lot of problems. Got the dress right as scheduled. It's way too big- I mean huge! Color is nice but dress is not the same as pic at all. We are just taking it to a seamstress to fix as I think with measurements it should have been right if they knew what they were doing. Bead work looks cheap and is not at all like pic so will be fixing that too. Should have just bought a $300 dress in the U.S. because that is what i will end up spending after fixing it. Hope the seamstress is a miracle worker!
