So easy to look up.Was Auto parts manager for 44 yrs andyour catalog on comp. Was easy.
Generator had damage...in this case the plastic brace going from top to bottom just inside the removable cover was broken in half! The box was not damaged nor was the outside of the generator.
Since I needed the unit for a trip and didn't have the time or want the hassle of returning it, I checked it out and ran it (all else fine) then repaired the break with JB Weld...stronger than the original brace.
I'm guessing the unit was dropped during shipment from factory and broken. Since there were no outside indications of possible damage, I'm not blaming PPL or their shipper. It's a done deal now.
