Love using PPL...always the right stuff and fast!
Called parts department to confirm that shroud would fit my Air conditioners. The shroud on website did not show model number for my air conditioners. Parts person checked my number and confirmed that PPL's part number were a match. I placed my order online and received order on scheduled delivery date. My experience was very good and I would do business with PPL again.

Waiting time was a little long, but question was answered. Step arrived as new and performs just as it should. New door switch included which is a great plus. Overall very happy with purchase and service. Will use PPL again if needed.

I tried to cancel order before it shipped but was told not possible. Refused order fedex.
Purchased 50 amp Hughes Autoformer voltage booster. It cured my low voltage issues. It was packaged well and shipped quickly.
The item arrived on time, it was a dual propane tank carrier for an RV. It would be helpful if included in the item were u-bolts to attach it to the RV. I had to buy these on my own.
Received A/C unit in timely fashion. Ordered it with a control board upgrade to allow it to work with my existing thermostat. Received the wrong control board. Had to hire an A/C tech to figure out it was the wrong one as no one at PPL or Dometic would talk to me about it citing liability issues. A/C tech had to order correct board and now am on 2nd week with no A/C in 90º+ heat. Sent wrong board back to PPL for reimbursement and am out an additional $200 due to having to hire the A/C tech when I could have done it myself if I had been sent the correct board. PPL did send fedex by to pick up the wrong control board and they did offer to immediately send me out the correct one once they knew for sure it was the wrong one. But by then the tech had already ordered a new one from somewhere else. In all my past dealings with PPL they have always come through with fast, correct and courteous service. No one is perfect I guess. I will continue to use their services.
Customer service returned my call immediately, but they answered my questions evasively. However, the RV surge protector seems to be working great.
