I ordered my replacement rv air conditioner on a Thursday morning and I received it by freight (truck) on Friday afternoon at about 2 p.m. in excellent condition.
PPL is easier to order from than Amazon and their prices are always better. However, in this case PPL did not have the item I ordered in stock and did not say so on the order form. Instead, they charged my credit card for the order, but did not ship it until 10 days later. While I expected such a delay when i ordered a full-size RV refrigerator that had to be delivered by a semi truck, I did not expect such a delay when ordering a 28 lb Dometic cooler/warmer. Amazon and eBay at least tell you if the item is in stock before you place the order. Other than that, I am quite satisfied with both items I've purchased from PPL.
Spoke with a very nice Representative to confirm I was ordering the right thing and that it was in stock. Then the online ordering was simple.
Great price and free shipping
I was a little irked that PPL didn't ship my order from their own stock but from the manufacturer's inventory. It delayed shipment by several days. I had to call PPL to find this out when I received no timely shipment notification. This didn't cause me a problem, because I didn't need the product immediately, but it was irksome that PPL failed to inform me of this prior to entry of the order.

Everything from the original contact with a very helpful young man to the delivery was A-1. The only thing that was not perfect was the fact that one of the small skylight flanges did not have any mounting holes drilled in it. It was easily corrected with a drill and some bits but was a little annoying. The holes were drilled in it okay and everything was fine. I can see where someone would be a little upset about that but that was no the case for me. You may want to check other skylights for the same issue. Overall everything is good and the skylight looks great. The product arrived in two days via UPS, - great service
Everything was great, the only thing that was a little lacking was I did not get a notice that my part had shipped. It did get here very quick (4days after I ordered) but I had no idea it shipped. Other than that everything was great.
The process was pretty simle and easy to follow. Idid get two or three messages that a screen could not be opened. It worked on second try. The package was poorly packed and the box was much too large for the merchandise.
I ordered a Norcold refrigerator that was delivered quickly.
Before the order I asked for a delivery with a truck WITHOUT trailer because my last 1/2 mile is a narrow road not suitable for big trucks. Sorry that they did'nt care about this request and the delivery came in a truck with a 60 feet trailer that could'nt reach my place. The shipping company was very kind, they knew nothing about my request, and 4 days later they made the deliver with the right truck.
When I contacted the customer service about this issue the reply was that they don't have control over the shipment.
A company with more than 40 years on the market, with 3 wharehouses does'nt have control over the shipment?
What kind of company is it?
