We ordered a bedroom set in September. That showed the items were available and I was to have everything by october. We are now in middle of December and I still don't have my dressers. Since October I have called every week and I am told something different by every person I speak to. A couple of weeks ago I received the bed and nightstands and the quality is small and poor, Definitely not what pottery barn used to sell a few years ago.

We bought several pieces of furniture, with a promised delivery in October. They postponed delivery date multiple times, without any explanation. The items appear to be ready since November but they won't deliver or give any explanations. The delivery company they outsource to, Ryder, won't provide any answers and have a messed up system that shows one of the items we paid for as cancelled (it shows as active and at the delivery center in the Pottery Barn site. Have called multiple times, escalated over chat, no one will help. We love the furniture, but the service is really disappointing, we pay a premium for the quality but cannot get it delivered.

Horrible company!

Spent $10,000 on bedroom furniture, the bed frame broke after 3 months and pottery barn said "sorry about ya". Horrible company, horrible customer service! Go elsewhere to buy furniture!

Pottery Barn Big Sur Sofa in performance chenille cushions do not hold up. They wrinkle and have to be constantly fluffed up. Sofa was less than two years old. Called customer service and was told I'd have to PAY for new ones. Will not be buying from them again. Poor customer service poor quality for the amount spent.

Ordered three shelves. Every day I get a new delivery date, which is usually the following day. But when you check the tracking, the items are still in "preshipment" and have not been sent to the USPS. Emailing customer service gets me various excusing and promises but not the truth. I would certainly have ordered from someplace else had I know that this company had deteriorated so badly. Stay away and save your money and your frustration!

After waiting a week to receive scheduling of my partial order or communication that was promised within 48 hours, I contacted PB again. Hours of chatting resulting in more frustration. Confirmed there is no product. Will be no product. Yet, I had to contact them for a refund. Told me they can't check on every order, thus it's up to the customer to micromanage the purchase and delivery. Only offered to refund the cost of the eight chairs minus shipping and handling continuously stating because one chair had been delivered…. To the warehouse! Not to me the customer. Finally agreed to refund in total after holding my greater than $1k for three months. Based on other complaints and reviews of similar nature, one must ask if this is a strategy to overstate earnings.

Absolute disaster! Ordered eight dining chairs on August 7th. Charged me in total for all chairs immediately. No further correspondence from PB. I was checking on delivery dates through the website: Aug 29-Sep 12th. Sept 12th came and went with no communication. Then the website quoted Oct 5-25th. One out of four boxes arrived at the distribution center on Oct 18th. No further communication, Called customer service today and was told that the items were on back order the day I ordered them. Again, charged my CC and no communication. Transferred to another person in delivery who confirmed that only ONE chair, not a box of two chairs had been delivered to the distribution center. Stated that there were multiple issues with my order and that the order had been reprocessed and that I should have received a refund at that time. NOPE! Nothing. No communication at all. Now the order needs reprocessing again and I was told it will take at least several weeks to come from NJ to FL. (Perhaps I should introduce them to Fed Ex). And to my request for any type of compensation for my frustration, time, and complete incompetence on the part of PB - I was told to CALL BACK once I receive all of the order. The order that I have already paid for and likely will never receive in 2023.

Delivery Nightmare

Just an awful experience. We placed an order at the Pottery Barn in South Park Mall, Charlotte, NC months ago for 2 identical chairs. After waiting weeks we finally got contacted to schedule delivery. Low and behold it was only 1 chair. Apparently they had canceled our order and replaced it but only ordered 1 chair not 2. Now we have family coming for Thanksgiving and were assured the other chair would arrive before then. We just recently were told delivery had been delayed again until mid-December. When we called to inquire about the other chair we were informed that it was already on a truck. I was also informed that it apparently takes Pottery Barn 3 weeks to make the arduous journey from NJ to GA. 3 weeks. Now you and anyone else can make that trip in 10 hours. It takes this allegedly high end furniture store 3 weeks. I asked about other remedies such as sending me another chair and having it shipped directly to me. They offer no solutions, no apologies and no compensation for their errors. Avoid this place, there are plenty of other options to overpay for furniture.

Bought dining table and price dropped before first bill,Pottery Barn would not give me a credit.l call that poor customer service, some kind of credit would of been appreciated, not asking for the whole 300 dollar difference, will not buy from Pottery Barn any more,they don't appreciate there repeat customers

Scented oil diffuser vessel

Purchased a Pottery Barn stone scented oil diffuser vessel and placed it on my Pottery Barn dresser. After a few weeks the oil soaked into the stone and damaged the top of my dresser. Called the store and they did nothing to resolve it. Disappointing for such an expensive dresser.

We purchased the Dream Manual Swivel Glider Recliner. It is incredibly uncomfortable. The back of the chair cushion pushes you forward so you cannot rest your head. It also makes a very loud pop sound when you close the foot rest, which has woke our baby multiple times. There is no other way to get out of the chair if you have reclined, so we just can't recline the chair if our baby is sleeping. Lastly, when you recline back, the chair does not want to stay in that position so you have to continue to push yourself back in the recline position in order to stay leaning back. It is literally the most uncomfortable chair for nursing and resting that we have used. Very disappointing for the money spent.

Pottery bard sells defective products ( child's backpack in this case) and doesn't want you to get a refund only a "due bill" so you can buy more defective products! My wife has spent four separate hours trying to resolve this ( even after 3 approvals from management so far) and still gets a run around and no satisfaction! In fact she is still on the phone as I type, for at least 2 hours today!

Ordered over $4,000 and nothing arrived as promised. They substituted items and then wanted me to pay to return them. Kept speaking to different people. It's been three weeks and I still have five huge cardboard boxes sitting in my living room. Never again will I buy from PB

I ordered four pieces of furniture on August 21 all of which was to be delivered by September 17. Pottery Barn has three pieces, which they charged me for weeks ago, but is still waiting for the fourth. They refuse to ship what they have, cannot tell me when the fourth will be available, and won't do anything to make amends. They put me on hold forever. The chat is equally ineffective. Too bad they have attractive items; this is no longer a firm I'll choose to do business with.

Pottery Barn - stay away

Do not buy anything that needs to be delivered. Worst customer service. Waited months to find out order was never processed. Other piece on back order but never informed. They will not allow you to speak directly to a manager. Lynnfield MA location was not able to help as they knew less than we did as the customer. Over priced, horrible service. Take your hard earned money to another business that has customer service as their top priority.

We sat on sectional on showroom floor and even asked salesperson will cushions be down wrapped. Yes she said. They were not and they fell apart in a year. FYI we spent $14k and Pb could have cared less. Not doing this again. Room and Board here we come.

I'm writing this review crying from frustration as I just ended a phone call with Pottery Barn customer service of over 2 hours with no resolution. I have never experienced anything like that. Although I love Pottery Barn furniture, this is the last time I will ever purchase anything from them. I ordered a writing desk and 2 bookcase in March 2023. I received the items on August 9th, 2023 damaged. I was advised to send everything back and have the items resent to me at a later date, that was scheduled for February 2024! I decided to cancel the order. Although the order was canceled on August 18th I have never received a refund. I called multiple times, spoke with different customer service agents and no one gives me a straight answer when I will receive a refund, if the refund was ever sent to me or if I will ever receive my $4k back. I would not recommend to anyone Pottery Barn as this kind of behavior is quite prevalent and it appears they don't do anything to fix it!

This company is a scam. It has no reviews on its site. It advertises products as one thing but then ships customers inferior items not at all as described that can be purchased elsewhere at much lower prices. Stay away!

Sofa

Horrible service! I purchased a sofa in February 2023 along with other furniture. I returned the sofa the day they tried to deliver it. And I'm still having issues with getting the 2400 back on my card. I've spoken with pottery barn and capital one - pottery barn's credit card and no one seems to know how to fix the problem! Pottery credit card says the problem is pottery barn and pottery barn says it's one credit cards end! Either way I just need it fixed and no one seems to be able to fix it!

Dont fall for the Pottery Barn credit card. They tell you you will start paying when furniture is delivered and its a lie, they really emphasized that as a catch. False information just for selling. You will have to start paying with no furniture in your house!

Outdoor sofa

This the most expensive piece of outdoor furniture I have ever purchased and it is the worst by far!
The cushions have so little cushion, the metal frame is cheap and the cushions do not ship any water.
I would not recommend this product from Pottery Barn to anyone!
