I won 75 bids, received 12 and they cancelled 63. I never did find out why they cancelled the 63 items, I count it to the grace of God. But, the 12 items I did receive were much more than the $550.00 I paid for them. The emerald bracelet and necklace along with the ruby zirconia appear to be as advertised. If these items are not as advertised I will let you know.

Stay as far away from this site as possible. Most if not all the items are worth far, far less than advertised. I brought items I purchased to pawn shops and jewelry stores, ALL said the items were basically JUNK.
There should be some way to shut them down. If anyone has info on how to accomplish this they should add to this post.
JUNK will always remain JUNK

What a rip off! You look at an auction and it says "join its free" to see details. Then you join and you are prompted to "upgrade" to see details. This is a data mining site, not an auction site. Website operators... shame on you

I got a ring that i won worth $5,000 but we'll see at the pawn next week when i go take it to get an appraisal. Hope i spelled that right, anyways i usually dont put out my hard earned money on some site i didnt review. But glad i went ahead and never thought about this review site. My user name was brokeman. I am going to go ahead and let yall see the ring so look in my profile pic. Thats it!
I say it has a pretty good weight to it. It does pop a bit on the finger. And the diamonds are all there but they are very tiny so it doesn't sparkle as much.
Overall im pleased with it and my purchase. This is the end of my purchasing on that site because im afraid next time it maybe something not worth buying. I got scared a little after reading these comments. I actually waited 3 days to open it beause, i wanted to film it on camera and do a review, now its too late lol. Or maybe not. I opened it right after reading most of these comments. Lol

Don't get ripp off
April 27, 2015

If any one never get ripped off in your life before, please buy things from police auctions. They should change their name Thiefs auctions. I recently bought a mini projector and I paid two times more price than Walmart price. I really don't know the bidders I was bidding with the others are real or not. Ok I didn't compare the price of the things I bought. How but the others, will they won't check the price too. I don't thing so. Something is fishy. I bought almost close to $2000. I really got ripped off in this websites. Please be careful.

A costly mistake
April 23, 2015

Well, I really thought it was a police auction so I didn't do any research before spending my money. A very hard lesson. The stuff is junk and it's now in my daughter's dress-up trunk. I feel like one of those people who have been had and someone's laughing at how stupid I was. It's embarrassing to feel so gullible.

How can some people complain when they are doing the bidding? I read on here of people saying it's overpriced but it's a $1 biding auction. I'm not sure how bidding $1 or $3 and possibly winning that particular auction is being over priced. You are the one h=who has the say so as to wether to place a higher bid or not. Plus, if you read their statements, it specifically states that the coins are for collectors only and not recommended as an investment because they are not 100% gold or silver. They also state that majority of the jewelry is sterling silver with gold overlay. There are a few that are 14k but you have to look and read the info before making a decision to bid. Read before biding on something! Personally, I've never had a problem with them but I also look into every item I'm interested in and then determine it's worth before making a bid.

Big scam
October 19, 2014

Big scam. I bought multiple coins which were reportedly authentic. I went to to have them appraised at two different coin dealers and they both told me these were cheap fakes. One coin I paid a pretty good amount was also worthless. How do these people stay in business,

They charged me $39.98 on my card but they never provided the auction I was looking for. They just want your cc info to charge you and get money from your account. Don't sign for free unless you are willing to get a charge for nothing. I am disputing the charge with my American Express though...

I won a bid for coins and the value of the coins are considerably more that what I won them for. The coins were mailed to me in a timely manner. I experienced no problem and will bid again.

Please stay away from this site. They use Bidding Bots to bring prizes up and get the prize they want. If they don't get the prize they want the item goes in the back of the list and starts the countdown again. Very criminal behaviour. I have proof of this and can provide it if necessary.

They have received (4) four payments for (2) two items and refuse to send the items. I have done (3) written notices and (2) two phone calls to no avail. They say the address is not exact as on the card. AND it is. Exact enough to remove money from my debit account. Now they say to try a different card or write a check to hold the item for 14 days. They ALREADY have four payments. Just ask Dan!

Before reading further, I suggest removing all expensive and/or breakable items from within reach, emptying your bladder, and making sure no children are within four blocks earshot. You're about to embark on what's going to be one hell-of-a memorable curse-fest. The world is a cruel and unfair place I tell you.

So, let's begin. If you're here after already making a purchase, you've been scammed. What's that? You got a sweet deal? Like I said, you've been scammed.

That's right, let it out so I can hear you from where I sit.

I don't know why I strayed to this site when reputable options with buyer protection and working customer service are available.

Live and learn.

For one, the item I purchased was way over-priced-my own fault-yet the description of the item was so utterly deceiving, I'm sure these folks have degrees in psychological mind-seduction (the nicer cousin of mind-phuk). The return policy is horrendous, you have to call them within seven days for RMA# yet they don't answer their phone for 6 1/2 of those 7 days!

Oh, and did I mention the 15% restocking fee if you manage to send it back? Think about it like this, if they scam 100 people with fancy pictures who then send the cheap item back at their own expense, policeauctions makes a profit by doing nothing! Their bottom line has been increased by your "restocking fee" payment and they can reuse the item to scam the next buyer.

Live and learn.

I should add that the small writing in the terms and conditions states, that unless you accept and pay for an "upgraded" account, you will not have access to "government listings". This basically means you're bidding on items from regular folks who want to deceive you.

Do yourself a favor and go to a reputable site, because if it's too good to be true...

Caveat emptor
