The overall reputation of Pogo reflects significant customer dissatisfaction, largely stemming from perceived declines in game quality and customer service since its acquisition by EA. Users frequently express frustration over technical issues, a lack of engaging content, and aggressive monetization strategies that detract from the gaming experience. I've been with POGO since 2003. One of the features I like is Chat but the new format has no chat. It's nice when you can congratulate people on their scores. The POGO tokens we an indication of how well we've done and how long we've been there, no more tokens in the new format. They are still running challenges where they expect you to buy games with the gems that we paid for. They are deleting games the we bought. It's stealing. With the new HD format I can only play for a few minutes (if I'm lucky) and I get thrown out of the room and lose all the progress on that game. It happens on ALL HD games. I won't be re enrolling.

Pogo changes suck
December 27, 2019

I paid for a year long subscription. Midway through the year, they take away ALL of the games I play. Literally ALL of them with their updates. The games list available seems to be cut in half. I argued with them for more than an hour on chat to have my account refunded for the games that I paid for and are no longer available. They refuse to give me a refund because I didn't ask for it within 2 days of being charged. Apparently I was supposed to look in my crystal ball back in August to know my games were going away in the future.

I have been a pogo player since 2010 and this situation is so upsetting! I am so mad about pogo having to get rid of all the games that I like and one of my TOP FAVORITE games is poppit sprint! I played that more than anything else and I can't believe my fun days are coming to an end, I wish this was a joke! I absolutely loved playing on pogo and spent a lot of time on there building up my tokens but now I won't anymore because it's never going to be the same again! I am extremely distraught AND WISH THIS NEVER HAPPENED!

A Total Rip-Off
December 16, 2019

If you love playing cards with a stacked deck and rolling loaded dice, you'll love Pogo. They've recently done away with the Java and Flash games that have entertained their customer for years, a technological event over which Pogo has no control, but they've replaced them with HD games that are designed to be unwinnable unless one spends real money, and lots of it, buying boosters. The graphics are terrible, too. Don't waste your time.

Pogo is Gone
December 14, 2019

It appears Pogo will just be another game site. No Chat, No Tokens, No Badges, and we lose everything we gained over 20 years, for me. Very sad.

Sad Demise of Pogo
December 14, 2019

I've been a paying member since 2004 and have watched Pogo go from a fun and inexpensive game site to one that is eliminating almost every fun thing that made it unique and holding games hostage by forcing us to buy expensive gems. Due to java and flash being eliminated, Pogo is jumping on this opportunity to only convert a fraction of the games and these chosen games are gem intensive. They have eleven Find the Hidden Object games which require gems to play each episode. Postcards from Britain for example would cost 132 gems to get through the episodes which is nearly $10 in gems. The entire membership fee is only $39 a year! So that's 11 games that I can't afford to play and/or refuse to surrender to Pogo's money grab attitude. They have a New Access site which allows us to see what Pogo is going to be and it's terrible. It looks like a game sites for kids. They're eliminating minis and badges and other goodies people have paid for with gems. When people say they hate the new format, they're told they can return to the old, Classic format which will be gone soon and when I've posted several times on their Forums how I feel about the changes I've been censored and my posts deleted. I never thought I would abandon Pogo but they abandoned me and my loyalty to them for 15 years because they are selling us out for money..

POGO will soon be no good
December 11, 2019

Today, we have learned that in March 2020, POGO is getting rid of about 50 games many people have played over the years. I absolutely HATE their new HD money hog games where you have to pay and pay and PAY in order to play, even though you pay them a yearly fee. Some of the games they are getting rid of, MANY of us have paid extra to play the chapters. Now, we learn we have WASTED all of that money.

I have been with POGO for a number of years, but this will be my last year. They are nothing but money grabbers now.

TERRIBLE
December 10, 2019

Your so called"upgrades" are not working! Freezing, hard to open, etc. Now you are taking away about 50 good games in March. No spin the wheel to earn extra tokens, almost all games you have to use your gems to play. Not fun to play anymore, badges are going away. You have not changed the Thursday and Sunday games in over a year, boring. Keep getting popups about Adobe Flash, but it is installed and updated. What's going on, p[people are not happy. Do you even read comments/complaints?

WHY PAY TO ONLY PLAY
November 20, 2019

EA got id of pogo as we knew it. What is the use of challenges if you don't win tokens? Why buy gems just to finish a game? It was fun to win tokens & go shopping at the mini mall. And what about the chat and friends?

I want a refund of my unused months. EA is IMPOSSIBLE to deal with. Going shopping at the mini mall was fun and the way hey did it made it seem like you were really "buying" something. I cut my shopping on-line and in store in half.

When the fun goes away form a platform, it is time to stop.

I like Pogo
November 3, 2019

I don't play much of it, but I do like Pogo when I feel like playing it. My favorite is Mahjong Safari. I do hope they add a new pogo addition, pucks peak, and makeover madness. Those were great games too. I know they getting rid of flash games and adding new ones because flash is going down. I honestly hope they get these three games added.

Pogo is horrible now
September 17, 2019

I used to love Pogo. Gladly paid the annual fee for years. Now they have eliminated most all of the games I liked. Qwerty? Gone. Word Whomp Whackdown? Gone. Euchre? Gone. The ones that I liked that are still there have changed to the point they are no longer fun. Hi Limit Texas Hold em has gone from a 6 person table to a 4 person table, and the graphics and sound are a lot worse. Scrabble, my favorite, now has different graphics and is extremely glitchy. Several times a game I have to pass because Pogo won't let me play. Often it just freezes up entirely. Never had those problems before. Hated to cancel my subscription, but there is nothing I like anymore. Shame..

Beware of POGO and EA
September 14, 2019

October 2018 I was finally able to get a refund for my POGO account after continued technical difficulties. The first individual I sought help with was extremely rude even telling me at one point to "have my lawyer contact their lawyer."

Lo and behold, even though I never signed in to any website of theirs since I cancelled, I recently received a bill for another year. The only telephone number I could find on line is disconnected. When I tried to chat I was connected to a technician who transferred me to an "expert" technical person where I was expected to enter my credit card number to receive an answer.

Don't trust these people.

This game is a load of CRAP! 4 times now I've been ahead of the computer character I was attacking by at least 20 points and 4 times I've lost. Then I checked my hit to personal damage ratio and it was 72 to 28 in the computer's favor. That's an over 100 percent ratio against me. That's not even fair or realistic. Your site sucks.

Total. Money. Hogs.
August 30, 2019

Games are childish, most games now require real money purchases for episodes or power ups, no chat, no more jackpot spins for a chance to win REAL money via reward cards.
Strung players along all this time for no reason. Made us believe that the "new," Pogo experience would be soooooooo much better.
Yeah, insult our intelligence some more.
My money and time are worth more!

Unbelievable
August 2, 2019

I've been an avid scrabble player for many years and I use to enjoy playing on Pogo. I have a lot of scrabble buddies that I have met over the past 10 years and I still can't believe they screwed everything up with this new crap they have replaced it with. You have to be kidding me if you really and truly believe this was an upgrade for your site. This was by all measures a major down grade and I am still searching for a new scrabble site to get my fix.
I still play there but not nearly as much as I did before you guys messed up everything. Unbelievable!

Pogo emailed me asking if I wanted to renew for another year for $39.00. I replied thatt the game site for Boggle Bash keeps losing my identity and won't let me get on the site. This had happened twice before and after much lost time my brother and then my grandson who has a degree in Computer Science were able to get me back on. Then

Again they lost me and I couldn't use the site. I told Pogo not to renew but they did anyway. Now they will not respond to my emails and I am having to cancel my credit card so they won't charge me again next year. Totally disappointed in this site. Would never try to use it again. Be warned. Never give them your credit card number. They will never let you go! Doris Wyckoff, very dissatisfied pervious user.

I just called Pogo to report that they have been charging me for every months $7.48 even though I paid $42.00 for the year. They told me that 5 members on the site had bough jewels using my account. That it was my computer that had the prob not them and that they would not refund my money. I was charged this for 7 months. When I said it wasn't my computer that it was their site, he called me stupid and hung up on me. I called my credit card company and they said I had to cancel my card. You know what a mess that can be. The phone number for them is *******479 and it's in India.
