I met a woman named Sandy, talked nice and smooth. Then the price came. She claims she worked for AT&T and asked me to order seven cell phones and put them on her credit card never met her. I don't know what someone would need seven cell phones for? Be mindful of who you give your information to

I recently signed up to POF and to verify my age they wanted acc number, that was no fee to be charged. They tried to bill my card, do not give them your card information.

Pof has changed for the worse now...it sucks...When scanning through profiles it now goes to a white blank page after approximately 8 swipes...Dumb strategy...You will lose more people...This is greed and aggravating aggression to get money in a scammers way...Worst app now...unless you feel like being upset don't even bother...This is the definition of pointless

Too many fake profiles and bots that are on the Plenty of fish dating site. Also it seems half the women are friends with benefits or bring their drama to a new relationship. I will just stay single for awhile.

I don't remember the credentials I used to sign up and the free platform is no longer free. I have sent so many emails to recover my information with no luck and they still continue to take money from my account. THIS WEBSITE IS NOT WORTH IT PLEASE FIND ANOTHER ONE TO USE!

I was extremely disappointed in Plenty of Fish. I paid for this app yes I was so dumb. The scammers came through by the droves. First they kept asking me to get back on Whatsapp, Google Chat and my email. I quickly learned that is very common for scammers. When I felt comfortable talking we exchanged numbers texting and talking. Now I found that 4 out 5 were false identity and blocked them. The one who put it over the edge was I had texted, talked and eventually met a couple of times. After the last time we saw each other I just knew something was really off so I did my own research. This man not only went by a fake name on POF, he said he has been divorced for 5 years of which was a complete lie. Ladies he pretends to be a real cowboy and yes he is good looking. Don't fall for it! P.S. He lives in the San Bernardino mountains.
Well now I'm off POF and all dating sites. Being a widow just makes me appreciate my late husband more. Ladies be careful!

I had been looking for a site like this for a long time and my perseverance paid off. I found a place that fitted me best with awesome girls who wanted a real thing. I was happy to forget about POF like some of nightmare going away in the morning when I finally managed to cancel my subscription and remove my profile.
POF is a pointless and stupid waste of time! You waste it writing to bots, they "like" you and initiate first contact to entice you into paying. Then they forget about you and move on to a new user.

It's not the site, it's the people on there. Because it's free, it attracts all the weirdos, lowlifes and time-wasters. I have no idea if paid sites are better, but they'd struggle to be much worse. The people on POF are the worst I've ever encountered in my life. It's like The Land That Time Forgot.

The profiles are either blank or contain nothing but demands there's nothing in between. For example, short women love to demand a man that is over 6 feet tall,

In return, you'll get a woman that has a few kids (minimum) whose hobby is having tattoos done, who is out of shape and who brags they have no filter (common). How can you possibly resist such delights?

They seem to have little self awareness, constantly asking where are all the good men? Can they really not work it out?

Pof used to be that site between 2000-2007. You could meet people easily. Now, it's not free and you have to pay for membership. I paid and all the other people weren't members. They got one Email a day. The fake profiles and scammers are rampant on that site. It's not worth the money. Save yourself some time and heartache.

Beware of this site...they want to force you to do selfies. Nobody's going to force me to do anything on a dating app!

I've been on this site on and off since September and out of the 10 men I was chatting with, 2 were real meaning I met them on a date. The other 8 were all scammers either on an oil rig or an civil engineer with a teenage son/daughter in a boarding school in Florida… haha

All I constantly saw was' just ask', 'can't see likes' 'my kids will always come 1st' or how they 'won't settle'. They have absolutely no idea how to create a good first impression, much preferring hostility and clichés. It's a total waste of your time.

They deleted my account literally after thanking me for reporting a scammer, to which they banned them. I had just gotten the app for a week and decided to put 30$ on if the day before i was banned. Never pay for their service. Plus over half the users are inactive and the rest are bots. Seriously. It's a scam.
