DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME! This site is trash. 80+% female profiles FAKE. As an experiment, a friend of mine a a couple of our female friends git together and messaged ONE HUNDRED different female profiles writing different messages to each one. We got back TEN(!) replies! EIGHT were fake profiles! ONE legit. The other disappeared. You cannot see who liked you without an upgrade. They have a feature were you push an icon and it supposedly let's them know you liked them based on what you saw/read. The site will send you a random profile saying you both 'liked' each other. Problem is you never looked at their profile! Another issue is you write out a nice long message to find out she is looking for someone different. The whole site is rife with fake profiles and scammers. We estimated between 80-85% are fake. Most likely generated by the site itself to boost it's members numbers and attract suckers. There is no real customer service. Emails get no response. A new option is you can report someone just because you don't like their profile! WTF?! AVOID this bull$#*! site!

I signed up one night then cancelled the next day. Not only was there any refund they they continue to charge my debit card. At least Jessie James used a gun. If you want to continue to see your money go sign up and get screwed too

I have about 32 complaints about POF. The most recent is below and carry's over to 7 other problems regarding ease of use. They recently gave their site ANOTHER face lift to confuse users. I now wonder if I have been blocking free users from making first contact due to the use of double negatives in their questions. Note in the screen shot there are also two places to answer regarding whether you only want to allow upgraded users to be able to make first contact. Pure confusion!

This is only one of sooo many dumb things with this site. I'm still very leery that at least half of the members are fake or haven't logged in for years!

I will never pay for a site if it doesn't work or works poorly as a free member!

The biggest thing about this site and why it won't work is that the females are unrealistic
Most of them are old unattractive and have too much baggage. Yet for some reason they talk about not settling
When was the last time you saw a really attractive guy with a woman who was unattractive? It just doesn't happen so instead of looking for someone on their level they keep looking for someone who is out of their league & wonder why they cant find a man

I saw a profile from someone who had children was in her mid 40s and said she was large yet she unbelievably said she refused to settle. I honestly don't get how they can be picky. Even if they do find a man they fancy why would he be interested in her?

It doesn't work because they always want better than they deserve

And not a legit profile. Whenever I do a search on Google image I find the pic is that of a porn star or a model or an ad for clothing or some other product. IMHO, nearly every attractive picture is a fake pic and fake profile. Big waste of time.

Honestly don't get the hype about this website if you're a man

From what i can see it's full of females who are well past their best who have plenty of faults yet want a man who has no faults at all. In fact they seem to want the perfect GQ man, he has to be gorgeous tall and have a good body, everything the women on pof aren't, they are short overweight and nasty

Add in fact you're probably competing with about 1000 guys for every 1 woman and it's a total waste of time signing up. I think a lot of the women just want attention or play childish games. The women must love getting so many messages. Must be the most attention they've had in their sorry life.

I wouldn't chase these women if they were attractive but the fact they're all unattractive inside and out makes it even worse.

There's a bunch of douche bags on this site that can't handle rejection. Most of them seem accustomed to paying for sex and when one isn't responsive to their advances they report your profile and try to have you banned from the site. Most of the men are unattractive druggies or have little to no self esteem so if you think they look bad wait until you open up their messages. Their definitely socially awkward to say the least. Don't waist your time with Plenty of Fish; this used to be a site where you could meet a decent guy, go on an actual date, and if it didn't work out that was fine you both could go your separate ways. Now the sites filled with a bunch of little boys who feel like they're entitled to have access to a woman's body. It's weird. You're better off trying a paid site if online dating is the direction that you're looking to go in.

POF has the same people as on Tinder Match eHarmony Bumble. I bought the subscription, the selection did not change. I thought buying the subscription would show me. Different guys that were interested, but when I could see them they were guys I was already talking to.

People who think its ok to scam others on dating sites get a life for real its the lowest thing u can do iv been scammed before its not fun the things they say to u is so mean. I'm not even that mean at all. It's these stupid idiots that sit on this site and scam people I really hate this site. Something needs to get done about these scammers for real. It's a joke.

I was amazed looking at the state of the women that so many have children. It just shows that men really will sleep with absolutely anything. I love how they seem to think having numerous children shouldn't put a man off. My children will always come first... Run for the hills

No way any of these would get a date offline as other people have said they're too overweight/unattractive/picky/nasty/immature with tons of emotional baggage

POF sucks. Tons of bots/fake profiles/scammers/streamers... Send hundreds of messages maybe you get 5 replies (if you're lucky). If you do get a reply, chances are they'll ghost you. Women will block you for no reason. They'll view your profile (after you've messaged them), but will never respond. It doesn't matter if you pull something from their profile and ask them about it. Most of the women on there suck. Plain & simple. They say they're tired of the same jerks, blah blah blah, but come across as genuine and it makes no difference. I get that the even halfway decent women on there get tons of messages and aren't obligated to reply to any of them, but it's still very deflating to never get a response.

Here's the overall theme of POF. You'll see this combo in 95% of profiles:

1) Fat/ugly/overweight/unattractive women
2) Shorter women who want a tall man
3) Kids (usually at least 2-3) & don't want more (or any at all)
4) No job and/or car (but want you to have both)
5) Tons of tattoos and/or piercings
6) If they are working, it says "Ask" or something along those lines
7) 420 friendly
8) Incredibly negative profile and come off as $#*!y
9) Work multiple jobs and don't have time

Yet they want perfection from you.

Again, if you have more than 2-3 conversations in a month or so, you're a casanova.

Really bad standard of females as you'd probably expect...
Most carrying too much weight yet call themselves curvy, have tons of kids and have absolutely no chat and have a terrible attitude

As if that wasn't bad enough they are just totally deluded. You have women who are 350lbs demanding men that must be talk dark and handsome. I mean come on, can we have some realism here?

Most of the profiles either are blank as they're too lazy/dumb to fill in out or they have a huge list of requirements and a long list of complaints about life

I didn't see any happy women on here. All of them have some sort of baggage and were more than willing to tell you all about it in their headline or bio. Why would any man be interested in misery?

The only laugh I got was reading from some woman who said (in capital letters) only message her if you have blue or green eyes. At this point I nearly fell off the chair laughing at such utter stupidity

I was having trouble with two features keep writing to customer support about issues which they could not or would not fix. In one of my emails I said what am I paying for if your searches and matches feature were not working probably
The next day I get an email your account is being closed and your refund may take up to ten days to process. Really you took my money out of my account as soo. As I downloaded app

I got a message from a woman who ignored the questions I had asked her and just said 'you have anymore pics?'

They act like they are some kind of princess when really they are the women no man wants to date. You have more chance of platting fog than finding a decent happy friendly female on there. It's not the site that's the problem it's the people on it. Everything on POF is inside out. It's like an episode of The Twilight Zone

The standard of females is extremely low yet bizarrely their standards are ridiculously high

It's rammed full of single mums/ females that are unattractive & extremely overweight (who have truly dreadful attitudes) and genuinely seem baffled that they are single and haven't been snapped up. Most of them don't seem very intelligent to be honest either.

The problem is despite all their faults/baggage they refuse to settle and demand nothing but the top 1% of guys.

I mean, seriously? Why would a top 1% guy be interested in the bottom 1% of women out there? Short obese single mums with chips on their shoulders demanding tall dark and handsome. It's absolutely hilarious

I did nothing to break their terms.and conditions, I put on my profile, that I am anti vax.and anti mask. Explained why. I then got attacked by Liberal's.and called derogatory names. I reported them and I got kicked. Just another her social media controlled Nazi site. Also, there are very few attractive women, they are all fake profiles, prostitutes, fat, etc. Keep away from this trash site.
