I am a cable cutter who uses ROKU.

Pluto is probably all you can expect for (almost) free. The latest annoyance is their change to the Channel Guide: They took out all of the information which used to show a short synopsis of the program. Why? Did it save them money?

Another annoyance is the frequent freezing and lockups when scrolling through the guide making it almost impossible to find shows.

Showing the same commercials over and over is also pretty lame, which tells me that they have too few paying sponsors - not a good sign.

The audio volume increases drastically during commercials requiring muting or being unable to hear when the show resumes. How does this attract viewers?

Lack of local sports programming has driven me back to Radio.

First time and last time with Pluto TV. Commercial breaks at worst moments interrupting scene, doesn't return to same spot. At least wait until end of scene. Commercials are EXACTLY SAME each time (ours were Doordash, Podcast, Goldfish). Can't FF past commercials. NEVER AGAIN.

The way Pluto TV runs advertisements sucks $#*! hard! No warning! All of a sudden you're watching a $#*!ty ad and the movie you were watching flew out the window. Pluto TV is the worst channel of the entire bunch.

Just that the commercials I mute. Can't stand most. But. Love the station. I get threw it. And enjoy!

There is a streamlining issue with one of there tv shows that I've addressed more the. A 1/2 dozen times. I've probably gotten two reply backs saying the ticket is closed and if you reply with explaining the issue a human will get back to you. Total radio silence on there end, They just don't care what the viewers want.

I and my wife, both registered Democrat (maybe that will change?) started streaming to get away from the constant bombardment of the left narrative. No dice. Think we might just head back to the other platforms.

Can't watch anything on Pluto without a homosexual related commercial. Why are they talking about sex at all? I am uncomfortable when an unexpected gay man comes on and starts speaking about his sexual preference in front of my children. What a sick sick channel.

It has a great mix of content that runs almost continously. Shows are grouped by menus (Comedy, Reality TV, Classic TV, Kid's, etc.) for easier searching. Classic tv shows (the Beverly Hillbillies), reality TV (Hell's Kitchen, Survivor), comedy shows (Tosh. O) and even mma content like Bellator and poker events are all here. My only problem is sometimes it takes forever to start up, it continually buffers for minutes at a time and I get frusterated. But for a free program it's fantastic.

To many commercials and commercials to loud I don't know what else to write cause this is all I can think of but your stupid $#*! won't let me submit my review until I hit 100 characters which is stupid so that's another complaint

You can't skip around a movie and if you try to, it socks you with a ton of ads. Pluto also likes to "forget" where you were if you pause for too long and getting back to that point is next to impossible.

Only use as a last resort...

Imagine watching a movie and 3/4 of the way through it the film jumps back to what was shown an hour ago because some incompetent moron at master control forgot to change the tape to the next reel. Well, this happens on a regular basis at Pluto TV. They must be hiring people off the street with no technical training, probably affirmative action hires to appear more "woke". This has happened on 3 occasions and they don't even try and fix the problem. With a half hour left in the film they go to commercial and when they come back, the credits are running! Do yourself a favor and don't bother watching any movies on this "station".

I have created two tickets for support. As of this date I have heard nothing from them. I understand it is a free service, but to me that price is too high.

This could be a great streaming service if it weren't for far too many commercials and being too frequent. Pluto needs to offer a pay to view plan with out the crap ton load of commercials. A $5 a month plan with 1 commercial every 15 minutes and no commercials for $10/month.

Pluto TV is one of the few streaming websites out there that are free, which is nice. Although, I can't bring myself to give it more than two stars being of the annoyance of the ads. I was trying to was a move called "30 Days of Nights." Personally, it's not a very good movie, but I'm not here to review the movie, I'm here to review the streaming service. I can't describe how excruciatingly irritating it is to have an ad pop up every ten minutes. It doesn't even give you a warning. Personally, I'm one of those people that wouldn't mind a warning, because it simply tells me that they care about our experience, and that they would like to tell us ahead of time. Although, the amount of ad usage is unhealthy and not okay. Even during the somewhat good parts of the movie, there's a sudden ad popping up. I would rant more, but that would be wasting my time. In summary, if you don't mind the annoyance of ads popping up on your screen with a free streaming service, then Pluto TV is good for you.
Besides the negatives, there are some positives. The movies and series are good, and are there for people that cannot access streaming services that cost money. I'm the type of person to get irritated easily, so maybe I'm overreacting about the ads, but it is annoying. But anyways, I'm going to watch the second movie despite how crappy the first one was, because I'm curious about what happens next.

This started out being a good alternative to cable, but horrible. Commercials play in spanish! Bye!
