I have been doing business there for over 5 years now. I buy and sell accounts and game currency. They are completely legit. Problems can take longer to resolve than I would like but they do get resolved in a reasonable amount of time. Like less than a week. Don't know why they have such a low rating then they provide an outstanding service.

One of the worst sites I've ever used. Tried to buy an account for my son. 2 accounts to be more accurate. The first "guaranteed" 2 hour delivery. After waiting 15 hours! I asked for a full refund. Then tried to purchase another one and it "guaranteed" a 24 hour delivery. It was around 48 hours after and with no info being told to me they banned my account.

I can understand your frustration as it seems you may be a first time buyer. We operate as a consumer to consumer trading marketplace and help to secure transactions between buyers and sellers. The "delivery guarantee" time is actually a time which is determined by each individual seller. If delivery was not made within the 2 hour delivery guarantee time, then you would have been able to cancel the order with no penalty.

I can't speak to the banning of your PA account because I don't have enough information, but if you are a verified user, please provide your PA username or order ID and we would be happy review it and see what can be fixed. - jacob

Yeah i honestly think none of their customer service speaks english, it really feels like they wait for your questions to be translated and still they dont answer your question. Ive been waiting about 3 weeks for them to pay me 60$, yes 60$ and they still cant get it to me its just excuse after excuse and the customer service leaves the chat before you(i thought leaving or hanging up before the customer was the biggest no in customer service)when they cant answer your question. Unless you like being frustrated and annoyed i would avoid this.

Worst customer service out of all the mmo sites. No buying protection even though they charge you to insure the purchase. When it comes time to make a claim on the insurance they automatically reject it.

Safest way to sell virtual goods. No questions asked. Who the $#*! cares if they have $#*! customer service, try paypal customer service, it's very comparable. All of you $#*!es whining about losing your accounts or dropping thousands on an account you are $#*!ing $#*!s. This site fights chargebacks for the sellers, something that i have never heard of before on the internet. They are existing to help keep virtual good trading alive.

Everything would have gone fine if they hadn't accused me of sharing accounts. I only ever made one account and this operator guy, Larry, just kept sassing me, saying I had multiple accounts. Then he told me to email some other department, and I did, and they haven't gotten back to me. The main email has yet to have emailed me back as well. I don't hate the website, but I don't particularly like it either.

This is the worst website for real world trading or gold buying ever. The customer service is trash, they wouldnt refund my money when they suspended my account for making multiple accounts, which they neglected to tell me was a violation for the terms of use. They take forever to reply and to update your account information and what not. Kids, just dont do it. This website blows major $#*!.

If you were banned for having multiple accounts, our Customer Support should tell you right away this is the case, as well as providing you with the option of verifying your identity if indeed the link analysis is not correct (or if that linked account belongs to a friend, etc).

If I could rate this site less than one, then I really would. Everything being said about their customer service is absolutely true, their policies which are in place are to 'protect the buyers and sellers from scams' but in reality its to legally protect themselves while having nonchalant attitudes about their customers.

Contrary to what is stated, the vast majority of users on the site have positive experiences trading through a secured platform such as PA. This is the 2nd review I am writing about these guys. I bought an account from them last year in november and have the account for 9 months and it was recalled by the original owner. I had bought insurance from them and they requested I send email proof that the account was recalled. I sent ALL the emails I got saying that the account had been updated. I then called to see what was happening and the game publisher said the email was changed which was more proof that it was recalled. During my email conversation with one of their marketplace reps named Shawn he told me there was not enough evidence that the account was recalled and refused to honor the insurance. AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID these guys like the plague. I was a loyal customer who had purchased numerous accounts form this site and this is such a shame.

Adding more to this review.

This company protects its scammers which brings me to believe they split the profit they make off of selling and recalling accounts. Also they scam you even more by selling you insurance they don't honor. I lost my account after 9 months... I still have 3 months left on the insurance and they refuse to honor it... please DO NOT BUY ACCOUNTS FROM THIS SITE!

10/14/2015 review update. I provided a 45 minute phone call and an email from a supervisor over at the game account department to player auctions saying the account was recalled by the original owner. PL dismissed the evidence and still refused to refund me on my insurance. These guys are crooks do not support this company full of thieves and liars.

THEY ARE SCAMMERS! STAY AWAY! PUT THESE SCAMMERS OUT OF BUSINESS! THEY PROTECT SCAMMERS AND THEY ARE SCAMMERS! THEY RECALLED MY ACCOUNT AND MADE SURE I DIDN'T HAVE EVIDENCE! THEY ARE GARBAGE HUMAN BEINGS!

Bought a League of Legends account with insurance, was recovered by the seller or original owner 2 days later.

Spent weeks going back and forth between the arbitration team and the seller when all the evidence was presented in the first two emails. The arbitration did literally nothing except act as a messenger between buyer and seller. They did not arbitrate $#*!.

The live chat operators are not helpful at all. They literally do nothing, and will spend 20 minutes making you wait just to tell you useless $#*!.

This site does not honor their insurance policies.

If you buy from this site, make sure you do it by credit card so that if you're scammed, you can charge back.

Will not go near this site ever again.

I made a account with them to make a purchase of ingame gold i made purchase they received money then i recieved email saying account suspended because someone has made account to this address before i lived here i guess but thats not the worst part now i can no longer get ahold of the chat liek they blocked my ip or something and my money is in limbo they have not accepted it or refunded BAD company do not use them

Please provide a user ID or order ID for me to look up. If your account was linked to another, then all you would have needed to have done was verify your identity. It is highly unlikely that your IP was blocked, unless it was sending malicious traffic.

Anyone giving this company 5 Stars works for the company. The truth is if you google PlayerAuctions Scam, you will clearly see thousands of complaints.

I trusted this website because they had all these guarantees and playerguardian safe seals all over their website. The truth is the entire site is deceiving and they don't care at all if something goes wrong. Don't believe me, just test it yourself. Go into their live chat and tell them you have a problem with your order. They'll forward you to an e-mail address and they do absolutely nothing. Months later, my issue is still outstanding, you can report the website to the BBB because they don't exist in their system yet once again they advertise they are BBB Accredited just another way of the many they deceived me as well as others.

The seller who frauded me is still selling on their website, ripping others off. The company does nothing.

You can google "paypal horror stories", or "ebay scams", or any such variations of other companies, and there will invariably be people who have had poor experiences. One thing that sets PA apart however, especially from others in the RMT space, is that we actively try to make things right. Google "[email protected]", and you'll see plenty of results where we actually reach out to users.

Our BBB rating is the result of ALL BUSINESSES in Southern California being removed from the BBB database (after the BCA split from them), and as a result, the BBB is having to re-do everyone's accreditation. There is nothing we can do about this except wait for them to finish updating our account. Conversely however, you will see that we have a 5 star rating on Trustlink, An "A" rating on the BCA, and no... 5 star ratings on our organic review sites are not written by employees. The vast majority of users who exchange on PA have positive experiences, so it is not difficult for us to encourage those members to go out and write honest reviews about us.

Could you please provide your order ID number? From what you've written, it looks like you may have engaged in fraudulent trading practices on our website and must have defrauded a buyer. The only reason why we would withhold payment, and close your account is if the buyer reported (and successfully proved) that you were engaging in unacceptable trading practices. I can confirm this if you provide your order ID number, or identify any other extra ordinary circumstances which could be fixed.

$#*!ty $#*!ing site. I made an account and tried to sell a diablo 3 account. After a day I got contacted by two scammers. Reported both of them. In a mix-up they banned my account. As a new policy they also wanted 150 USD and 300 USD deposit from me. 450 USD for THEIR mistake. Now, after 5 days and 20 letters later - they are still saying the same $#*!. "Looking into it".

What a $#*!ed up place. It's a scam site that extorts money from YOU.

Save your self the trouble and do not buy from this site. If something happens they will not help you at all. The chat reps lie and the "mediation" team just forwards emails back and forth. It has been a month and I still haven't gotten my account back or my money.

So it has been 3 months since I sold my account and PlayerAuctions refuses to release my payment. They stole 250$ and are selectively deleting and blocking negative comments on their facebook page. WORST SCAMMING COMPANY EVER!

If you could provide an order ID number so we could investigate, that would help us to determine exactly what happened. As general policy, we do guarantee payment to sellers for successfully completed orders. Your disbursement may have been held in the even the buyer reported delivery fraud, or something else wrong with the product given (or the delivery itself may even be disputed). And yes, we do censor our Facebook page from competitors who intentionally try to negatively affect our business, or from users who want to use it as a CRM portal (our social media is not meant to act as a customer support system).

Once we have this info, we can respond to your issue expediently.

I never really understood why it takes 72hours for Player Auctions to give the seller their money after selling an account with your website.

Having a long chat with, what seemed to be, someone that couldn't speak English well so I couldn't really understand the person.

So now I'm here asking why it takes Player Auctions minutes to receive a payment from the buyer and then days to give out the funds to the seller.

I'll never use Player Auctions again. They take a fee, terrible customer support, and hold onto your funds for no precise reason.

The company fraudulently requested my credit card number in order to verify my identity. After charging an amount to the card and having me enter that exact amount on the site, they still did not mark my identity as verified and allow me to use any payment methods other than a money order to use their services. It was advertised as saying if I went through the "identity verification", that I would be able to immediately use Paypal, credit cards, and other payment options for their services. Instead, they made the charge, verified my identity, and then kept these options locked. It is my complaint that this is fraudulent and merely a scam to get people to give them their credit card information. I have been a customer of this company for 18 months and have made several purchases with them without ever having to jump through this hoop in the past.

Without knowing the order ID# or your username, it is impossible for me to see the details of your particular situation. Even after a credit card has undergone vetting, our risk management and fraud prevention system may still detect some kind of pattern or activity which would require you to go through more secure payment channels.

Often times this restriction is a protective measure for you, our member, in order for us to prevent mis-use of your PA account, or payment information.

I am no longer interested in using the site playerauctions.com in which I've been a member of for years. I have asked them repeatedly to remove all my personal and billing information from their computer systems and they have refused telling me that they will only "suspend" my account and that I can "unsuspend" my account anytime in the future so that I can use their service again. I told them again I do not want my account suspended (which means they still save all my personal and billing information) and that I want it completely deleted so that I cannot log in with that account any longer and therefore having all my personal and billing information deleted. They refuse to do this and can still access all my information including billing.

PlayerAuctions attempted to help this customer through the SmartCustomer Resolution Center, but the customer did not respond

As a business we are obligated to maintain all transactional history data for up to 7 years. This is done in accordance with business due diligence, as well as to maintain record keeping for law enforcement authorities (i. E. if we are ever subpoenaed for information, etc.)
