I bought a maxed (all 99s) account that was recovered HOURs after the system auto processed the feedback for the seller. I had authenticator set up, changed the email address and password etc. The seller initially provided the wrong information for the account, and it took hours to get it logged in.

They asked me to get verification from the Jagex team that the initial owner took the account back, so I submitted a ticket just to get an auto-generated response. There is no way to do this, so they are trying to just keep the money. I purchased insurance on the account, which apparently meant nothing. I'll be requesting a paypal chargeback if this is not resolved soon.

Hello there, Kama,

I'm so sorry to hear about what happened with your order. We give all buyers 72 hours after account transfer to fully secure the account, and this is where you have an opportunity to ask for the recovery info of the account so you could fully secure it. If there any doubts, you could have cancelled the order or raised a dispute that the account is incomplete.

As for asking the game publisher for a correspondence, let me assure you that it's very possible. We've had successful refunds just this week and the buyers all went through Jagex's email support. You can also get them from their Twitter support. Please note that buying insurance still requires submitting compelling evidence for your case; the disclaimer is on the site when buying an insurance package for your order:

First off i bought an overwatch account and when i first logged in it was locked. Then i disputed with the seller to try and get my money back or have them give me the info to the email associated with the account and they did give me the email info. So then i was able to unlock the account and play for a week. But then i tried to get into the account again and its saying the account was not found. I got an email saying that the email has been changed. So the seller took back the account. I messaged player auction with this and they told me about the dispute at the beginning when i got the email info. So even if you purchase the protection its apparently bull. Im out 30 bucks and will not be purchasing from this site again and hope other players will do the same until they stop sellers from taking accounts back (well be waiting a long time).

I'm sorry but the reason for the closure of this case is because you weren't able to send compelling proof regarding your claim. Even with insurance packages, we still require buyers to send compelling evidence in order to validate the claim and for the process to be fair to the seller. I have used this site several time and never had a problem. I have used other sites before and found this one to be the most reliable. You do have to read players feedback and understand if the price is super cheap with one player expect problems. Reading the feed back is important to your success.

Could be better

Resolved my initial problem, so thanks for that. Few things can be improved on though, such as replying to tickets within 6-12 hours instead of the average 24hour response time. Other then that, all was resolved so thanks.

This site needs to work on their security verification process. I've been on the site for almost 4 years and I'm treated like a brand new customer when I want to buy a listing. There's no communication unless you contact them first. Player auctions used to be a really amazing site but their old school security works effectively as a wall to keep honest buyers and sellers out. I shouldn't have to verify myself every time I try to make a buy or a sell, especially as a long-standing member with absolutely no negative actions on my account. If you're willing to constantly verify yourself, then go for it. It's a great site. Otherwise, stay far away.

I do not suggest using this site, at all.

I've made multiple purchases in the past and all were easy and fine.
However, i came back to make another purchase, Not knowing my original email, i make another account, pay for the order all seems good... Nope. You can't have more than one account, so i have to go through all the hassle of finding my original account, and getting the payment refunded.

Next, after eventually dealing with the above, i make another order on my original account that the support team eventually managed to tell me, it should be smooth sailing from here right?. Nope. Verifying Payment. Why now? Why not on the other attempts too? Okay, no problem... i then proceed to go through my emails and have no email/text to verify information they need. I end up emailing them directly with my order ID to get asked proof of payment, sure. We exchange a few emails, they tell me what info i need to provide, card name, bank name, last 4 digits etc, and ID.

All should be good here right? Nope. They then decide to ignore my emails and guess what?. Verifying Payment. Still.

Now i'm sitting here with next to no choice to cancel the order and cross my finger's i actually get my money back, going from some of the other reviews on here, I'm not holding my breath.

Support. 0/10 (easy the worst I've ever encountered)

Like others say. Once you pay. You wont hear back.
