You log in with you age and gender and they just assume what people of a certain age wants as a 26 year old who enjoys anime and cartoons it annoyed me to see that there was no category for my age and gender, people are different we don't have to he entitled to what we like based on our age and gender.
P.s. Apparently a category for 26 year old females is quotes and poetry, really?!, no offense to people who do enjoy these things sorry.
I opened an account several years ago because a search engine sent me to a Pinterest site and I was required to open an account to view it. I have rarely gone back to Pinterest and really do not see any value in it. Now that I have learned how they manipulate searches to drive traffic to push the companies political and cultural values, I have deleted my account. I encourage all users and advertisers to stop doing business with this mockery to free speech and opinion.
I do not recommend this company. They are bias and pro-abortion. They have banned live action from using their website by labeling them as porn. I am extremely disappointed.
I deleted my account and have encouraged everyone I know to do so as well. There is nothing more fascist than censoring what people say and hindering someone's right to free speech. This is a free country and Pinterest should be stripped of their right to do business in the United States, because their business practices trample on the civil rights of free thinking Americans.
Pinterest is completely unfairly censoring Pro-Life & Christian content, for no reason. They labelled all content from LiveAction.org as "porn", which is complete rubbish.
Until they reverse this decision, I am only using Pinterest to promote Pro-Life content - at least until they block me!

I am so sick of Pinterest! I have received an email in the past telling me that the content of one of my pins was going against their rules and I was about to have my account suspended. I've emailed back asking which pin that was as everything I had was re-pinned. I never got an answer.
Now, they totally suspended the account when i've Changed my phone and tried to log back in. Not one clue why! I do have a conservative view plastered all over my page, but I never thought they would do that. I've tried to file a report with them regarding my account and i've got back zero answers! Shame on you, Pinterest!
Your site allows scam companies from China like Jullymart, Banggood, Jude Dress, and Berrylook to operate on their site. If you read the reviews on these companies on Trustpilot you would see the terrible reviews. These companies sell inferior goods, the clothes do not represent the pictures on line, the material is not what they claim and nothing fits... they will not refund money paid. It seems Pintrest is not interested in screening scam companies from advertising on their site. I now do not use Pinterest any longer as they are consumer friendly. REMOVE all scam companies from your site and you will have more followers.
I don't actually understand what people like this network for. As for me, it is absolutely uncomfortable!

What am trying to say is that the site/business sparks the creativity hidden inside ones mind. It help make your hobbies your talents and If you are finding it difficult to choose what your to go for being around the site help you come to a decision. Believe the site is worth checking out...

I used to love this site. I know everybody wants to make money, but they've ruined it. Most site you can hardly read because of the advertising. I don't waste my time any more. It's off my radar. Bye.
As i'm sure most people have noticed now, pinterest has been kicking people out for not having businesses, a once free community, now only for people that have a business and money. They are kicking people out and claiming it as "inappropriate pins" or "copyright" that no one can help. Scandals are becoming stronger now about their rise in money, please business owners don't use pinterest. And for those that want to show the world the pictures, memes, gifs, or inspirational works, please find a way to do so.
If I'm feeling happy, the easiest way to turn my mood sour is to have Pinterest intrude on my day. The app keeps rearing it's taunting presence when I need info other than what Pinterest thinks I want. It's the most infuriating app I have ever come across.
Attempted to log in and denied due to cancellation of account. No explanation given. Was told explanation would be sent via email. No explanation received. I know one might think that porno was pinned, but nothing like this was ever pinned. Still have no idea why account was cancelled nor was I given any opportunity to appeal. This could just be an error but am not even allowed to ask.
I noticed I received an email saying my account was suspended?! For what? Just read a review where someone else was suspended without a reason too! This is ridiculous! Fine ok you are losing people by your messed up rules that nobody knows about! Nothing but spams on there anyway!
When I first discovered Pinterest I quite liked it. It allowed me to follow specific people and boards so could target my feeds to things that are of interest to me. Changes made last year however have turned it into a spam machine. It is crap. I can no longer target interests in the same way and now I consistently get images fed to me that are of no interest what so ever. Even when I specify that I want such topics hidden from my feed - or more extreme I notify that the feed is spam, the crap just keeps on coming. It seems that Pinterest now wants to control what you see in order to turn the site into a more commercial entity in order to extract fees from those pushing some material. It is increasingly as I say a spam machine and crap.
So i will have to stop using pinterest for inspirational garden ideas because since the latest update a chunk of every image you try to view is covered by a big blue message box which can't be cancelled. Anyone found a way round this?
