I tried this service and found that it utterly misrepresented me. In addition, the site charges you for each search for any useful information about the person you seek to evaluate. Avoid this program.
I used this site once and responded to their email saying I wanted to cancel my subscription-only wanted a one-month subscription. I am now finding out you can't respond by email, you have to call! They have been charging my credit card for months now before I figured it out! They are unethical and underhanded and I would give them a zero if I could! Don't waste your time with them-report was outdated and incomplete!
After leaving my review, someone from PeopleWhiz requested my email (which they already had), stated she would look into my issue, and get back to me. I was never contacted again. So, when all of you leave reviews, and underneath your review, PeopleWhiz writes that they attempted to contact you, don't believe it. I strongly advise people to use Paypal for these types of transactions. PayPal has the ability to block companies such as PeopleWhiz from automatically taking a monthly payment after you have cancelled. Please contact PayPal for specifics regarding this.
Bought Aug 9, cancelled Aug 17. Charged on Sep 9. Was refunded same day Charged again Oct 9 and refunded! They say I never cancelled even though I cancelled by phone AND email. On Aug 17 they told me that People Whiz themselves had cancelled me because I was "up to something". They are the worst company I have ever dealt with!
I ran a search on myself. They don't tell you any of the costs up front.
To get a one month membership it is $27.99. That report does not contain any of the juicy information. You need to upgrade to a Premium account for $19.95 for that information. I'm not sure if that covers just the report or the whole month. I'm not throwing good money after bad.
Some of their info was suspect-a phone number I don't recognize and a relative I've never heard of.
I need to make sure they aren't going to continue my subscription without my permission.
The guy is currently in jail and has been before convicted of sex crimes and his report comes up No Criminal History/
Highly inaccurate, very misleading information. I know this because I searched myself. The information I scanned briefly about the upgrade left the impression that was good for the whole month not one search. Total rip-off in my opinion
I paied for a 3 month service and did the intial background check. The check came back with only name and address and an offer to pay more to get the info I was lead to believe I was already getting.
I called to cancel the service with 5 minutes. Rep said they would refund money and cancel account.
Money was not quickly refunded so I called back. Rep said 3-5 business days at at 75%. After serious discussion about fraud, rep said I would be refunded at 100% in 3-5 business days.

This place is a joke! I used their system one time for 1.00 and they charged me 29.99 a month later because I forgot to cancel which is a rip off, It doesn't even tell the truth! Lies! Save your money! This place doesn't deserve any stars! Total waste!
Just tried their site. If I could give a zero rating I would. Totally misleading. Not free. Have tovpayvPremium fees for anything beyond basic information. Formatting is very poor. Don't waste your time or money.
This site is such an underhanded, unethical business! First of all the info is so completely out of date, it isn't worth your effort. Secondly, once they get your cc # it takes month's to get the cancellation to go thru. I tried a trial in Jan '20 & it is now Sep '20. I still fight with them every month to get my money back. This month the deal was they'll only give back 75%. I am so sick of this ripoff way these people do business. The rating should be negative 10 stars. I wish the FTC would put them out of business so they could not cause anymore headaches for anybody else. COMPLETE & TOTAL RIPOFF!

Its misleading I was charged $27 to see the person name and date of birth oh yeah and old address. No 7 day free trial or at less 3 day free trial. Very bad misleading website to get money no wonder the are open 24 hours a day.

After paying the initial charge I looked up myself. I had aliases unknown to me and relatives I never knew I have. To know more than this they want to charge you more for an upgrade. I am livid! This is what I call a scam and I am disputing this charge and cancelling! Horrible experience.

I peoplewized myself before anyone else, it claimed i had criminal records, i dont even have a speeding ticket. Also it waited til the last slide to ask for money. It should have done that up front. It reminded me of a buzfeed quize with email information. Waste of time and money
I talk to them and was told that the price i paid would cover all info stated in their ad. FALSE! I only got the very basics that I already knew and was told to pay more for their premium report for more money and was told they would also check other states? I should call my credit card and file a complaint. I totally agree with recent reviews by Mark C. And Mary P.
