You should not have to pay them $1.00, or any dollars to find out if PeopleLooker has your information. But let us say you pay them the one dollar. You have to pay them by credit card. Then, if you want to cancel, as I suspect most people do, then you have to call them. So now, not only do they have your credit card number, they have your phone number. Congress should pass laws making these sites illegal.

If you sign up for the trial offer, the website wont work, and when I called four days in a row and never got to speak to someone, I tried their online support and got nothing but a $27 charge on my card for a service I couldnt even use!

I'm not one to leave reviews like this but I think it's just super frustrating. I paid for the $1 trial hoping to find some information, which I wasn't able to but it was already so late at night that the costumer service which closes at 11:30 wouldn't have gotten back to me. Most websites have a convenient cancel button on their website but not this one and I was so busy the next day I just must of forgotten. But I read on their website that refunds were handled on a case by case basis so pretty much as soon as I saw the charge I emailed them a request for a cancellation and a refund. I was prepared for them to tell me no or possibly offer a partial discount but instead they didn't even mention the refund in their reply to me. What they did offer was a 50% off future subscription promotion. It honestly felt like they didn't even read my email, and if they did they just ignored half of it and I'm not sure which is worse.

Never have i used a website like this so to my suprise, they've charged me at least 10 times and 4 times just in April.

This website offered so much details but when i looked up phone numbers nothing even came up. They couldnt even find the person who owned the phone.

I am more dissatified with there add more than anything else. They say FREE search which is what they do give you. You can search all you want they just won't show you any information just another BS come on. Don't waste your time. I don't mind paying but just be up front about the cost and just because it say that they found hundreds of records you really have no garranty that the information is correct.

Was trying to find out who was behind a specific anonymous social media account that was harassing me. They need to tell users that they can only find people if you have their first and last name.

BIG LETTERS IT SAYS FREE! Absolutely not free. You have to subscribe to a membership, not free, give your credit card, that's not free, and on your membership that at the cheapest is $24.95+ tax for a month. They won't charge you until the 8th day. THIS IS NOT HOW FREE WORKS!

I would of tried your service cause I needed a complete history. But when you did not show just initials or name "free" like you advertise, I thought they might double Bill me, over charge me…who knows they lied in the first sentence. Gave me a bad vibe for this company! Use at your own risk, and IT'S NOT FREE FOR ANYTHING!

Don't ever sign up for a 1.00$ trial they took 24.00 and some change and I used it once. They won't refund my money but says I can use this crappy site for the rest of the month. How can you not send a email saying your trial is up? Then just take your money. Don't rely on this sight for good results either. I should not even give it 1 star. Misleading and greedy.

My grandma accidentally subscribed and they gave us a refund, I was very pleased with how quickly they responded. I have no use for people looker, but I was touched by how willingly they gave my grandma a refund.

My husband and I paid for their site to aquire information and as we looked for the most up to date info we checked our selves out first. Thier information that they provided was very inaccurate and even had people related to us that we didn't even know. That night we sent them an email requesting to cancel our membership, which they charged us anyways. So I emailed them the day they charged us and told them about the cancelation yet they still charged me the fee. Then canceled... nice huh. Well I guess they got their 21.99. Worth

I cancel this and they steady charging my card for what this site was not helpful month after month and yall stealing my money I wish I could sue for every bit of my money yall stole.

I cancelled the day after I purchased the service and found out today they have been billing me for 3 months. Now I am forced to cancel my debit card to get rid of these crooks.
