Use of this website and its services has been an absolute NIGHTMARE! First of all, I got no results on numerous phone numbers! Big disappointment! Second of all, its a large task finding out how to cancel my subscription! Huge scam! You hope I just give up and let it charge me! Well guess what? I didn't. Cancel it or I will be reporting this for fraud. I suggest you make it more accessible to cancel it. Your website is complete trash and you hope someone like me forgets to cancel it so you can make your spare change to pay your rent. This company is truly ran by a sad person. I will be going through my bank and getting a refund of every penny I spent on this horrible website, along with leaving this review. What a scam. When I first put in my card details here I was expecting a pleasant experience, and to get the results I desired. Well, let's just say it didn't go my way. No features even work! Waste of my time, money, and effort. I spent hours upon hours trying to figure out how to use this website, I spent hours trying to cancel the subscription as well. I will never suggest this awful website to anyone! DO NOT USE IT!

I never even got access after my credit card was charged. I couldn't create an account and the one time verification link did not work either. What a total scam!

I used People Looker once and was asked to pay 1 USD. That was the only reason I provided my credit card credentials. & days later a was charged 21.51 USD for the subscription I never did! Pure scum! The service was useless as in the end of the day they provided the Report with the wrong name. I wrote to Customer Service but there is no answer for more then 24 hours. I need mu money back and I want to cancel my Peoplelook member ship immediately!

Continue to automatically bill you even if you uncheck the box during signup, have to call or email to cancel subscription and will be forced to listen to a 50% discount offer to desperately try to keep stealing your money. Absolute 100% shady business probably closest they can get to an official scam without crossing the legal line as to not get shutdown. DO NOT SIGN UP

Be prepared, if you sign up, they will continue to charge you over and over again even after cancelling.

No reports. Only "Woops something went wrong". Called customer service. Hard to understand foreign speaking customer service representatives. They sent a link so I could spend more time to completely start over. Cancelled immediately.

Be cautious if you use their services. You will pay 1$ as trial and 23 dollars after 7 days, which you have no idea about except for a small box on payment screen telling you about subscription.

I didlike that it didnt show what i was paying it with but still see the charges on my credit report. I even try to reset to default, thinking it will not charge me anymore. But need to call in or to email just to cancel. Wasted my money. Suggest not to do the trial. Or have one person do it and then a bunch of people use it to make worth the money.

Didn't find any criminal records even though I knew the people had them. Ok service but I have tried to cancel twice. Free trial I wont use again.

I got this background check subscription and it sucked! It is like a generic version of been verified which is a much better service. I went through hell trying to cancel and I finally did. I didn't think about it again until just now, when I saw my bank balance. They have been pulling money from me for months after I cancelled! They will be refunding my money or else they are going to be shut down! Unbelievable! It was bad enough that it felt like a scam when it couldn't even give me info on people that I have found on every search site! This is a complete fraud of a service and they have fraudulently been stealing my money! They messed with the wrong $#*!!

I contacted peoplelooker yesterday and wrote about the 22.86 dollars worth of refund and they haven't replied back yet. I say though I received the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! The info I got wasn't up-to-date, like the other people search websites that I looked at, but my customer agents get bak to me and explained my problems. I would RECOMMEND them for their service!
I noticed the age for Sydney M williams was 30 the other websites posted her age as 32 so accuracy isn't the best and won't complain. As for the refund though, I am waiting on a reply back. The same info I got you can actually get for FREE! Paying didn't give me much more info, but also gave me financial and criminal info which I didn't really need! I really DON'T NEED TO KNOW what's going in their private lives and NEITHER SHOULD YOU! My gut feeling is its a potential scam though, like the other websites I looked at.

I have been using PeopleLooker for months tracking down high school classmates in preparation for our 50th High School Reunion and it was amazing! I was able to locate many of my old classmates using PeopleLooker and very much appreciated the ease of use.

In order to cancel you have to call or email, once you do so you are placed in a long wait queue for hours and sometimes days. Once the agent calls you back you are offered other plans and are treated as if you are the problem if you wish to cancel and get a refund if you were already charged. If you successfully dispute the charge with your bank and charges get removed you will see them charge your account again the next day. This is horrible and I hope nobody else gets trapped into this scam funnel.

You wait thru endless windows, of them gathering data, yea they are gathering data but they're gathering it from your phone or computer whatever you're using. Not compiling it from the internet. And when they finally compile said information they hit you with a pay to view bs. Can't say in the beginning tho. Save yourself the trouble. TruthFinder on android is free and informative. Not this crap, peoplehooker.

Used peoplelooker one time and got charged a $1and was able to cancel the service because it was absolutely horrible! They told me I was able to use the service until the end of the month with no charged but I did want anything to do with this crappie website. Thinking my account was canceled and I wasn't going to be charged for anything these horrible people gave my information out or charged my bank account over $450 of crap I haven't heard of on 6 different websites I called all the numbers and it was the same person telling me I couldn't get a refund eventhough I didn't make or authorize the transactions, my bank witch is a federal bank and a investigation led back to peoplelooker.com so be careful eventhough they say they canceled your account and you still will have access until the end of the month or whatever so do they and they will still your money one way or another so DO NOT GAVE OUT ANY CREDIT OR BANKING INFORMATION OR YOU GET ROBBED plan and simple

To cancel the subscription you need to call the phone number! There is no way to cancel any other way. So you are at the mercy of the company since they can just tell you they will cancel it tommorow or in a few business days. Which could be terrible because it can make you accidentally pay again for the subscription which is 22$ a month before tax!

They said for 1$ they'll find someone for me but instead keeps robbing my bank account of 23$ and 10 cents for months it's been going on it needs to stop consumer affairs police someone needs to apprehend these criminals I want my money back and for it to stop……

Recently my PayPal and Bank accounts were hacked and all of my money was stolen.
PayPal refused to do their job because the receiver was a "trusted" or "well known" user.
So I decided to try to use PeopleLooker to find this receiver of my money to try and make contact with them, I only had their email, and a name. I put it into PeopleLooker, and it asked me to pay a fee which I did. After I paid, PeopleLooker didn't find anything on the person I was looking for. I had to pay to find out they found nothing. It feels like my money is being stolen from me a second time.
Don't pay this company a cent!
