Shoddy, cheap foods worth less than their excessive shipping costs. Always comparison shop anything they offer, you will get better customer service, lower prices, and better quality than ANYTHING PCH offers. Also don't be misled by mystery gifts. You will get endless repeats of things that wind up in the trash.
PCH never gets tired of reminding me Ive been a customer since 1996 by sending an avg. Of 6-8 emails per day pushing so many different contests, no normal human could keep up with them.
And, just like every other review on here, they are a colossal rip-off, their shipping and handling is a crime, there is no validated proof of anyone ever winning the 'mega' prizes and their products are cheaper and junkier than what you could get in N Korea.
My favorite is the assorted nuts or candies they retail out in little tins, usually at 14.95-17.95 for 8 oz.
That's $30 plus a pound for penny candy or nuts. It's basically elder abuse, since that is obviously the demographic they target.
The only thing I can say is worth fooling with are the magazines. Thats how they started, and thats all I ever would order. There are some decent deals there on legit publications, but you have to dig to even get to a page that features them.
Word of advice: magazines only from PCH.
I have been combustible someone who said that they were working for pch and they told me that I had won 5 thousand dollars for life but I have to pay 1700 dollars to get it and then they cut it to 650 dollars to get it but all their advertising say a they show up at your door to surprise you but they are demanding money from me instead so I am begging to think that it's a scam and con to get my money from me.
After participating in PCH for several years, I am finally convinced that I could find most of my purchases at a lower cost anywhere else and I certainly don't appreciate the constant barrage of emails telling me I have one more thing to do to qualify for their drawing. I will no longer participate in this dubious enterprise where it appears that all of us are overpaying for things we order so that a very few can receive a big prize!
This is not legit. They promise you a prize that never comes and spam you all day long to purchase their products.
IT should be illegal. It should be called Publishers Fleeing House.
So sad that a free game site that was fun to play in the past (I have been playing since 1980's) has become so entrenched in a downward spiral of self site blocking pop up ads that it is no longer fun to play and with new competitors wanting your cookies it is just a matter of time before pch will have to close their doors
I have played their games for months, always getting a bunch of emails every day, jumped through so many hoops doing all their searches, only getting tokens, then seeing that I'm getting advertisements from these recommended search items, showing that they spy on your browser once you perform these searches. All I ever got after blowing ten million tokens on a single gift card sweepstakes prize this year were some more tokens. I have entered lots of other token sweeps, but never collected ANY prize from them. Very time consuming, doesn't seem to be worth the effort. As others say they really try to shame you into buying their cheesy merchandise all day long, and getting up in jewel ranking and becoming a VIP just gets you more hoops to jump through, MORE badgering than ever to buy more crap, and getting soaked on shipping and handling. I've only ever seen one check for ten dollars, not really worth taking to the bank for all my input effort, and a five - dollar check I never received when I had just gone up in ranking. I hate the way they beat you over the head to buy, buy, buy, telling you to "show us how badly you want to win", but they don't really show US that they want to do much but send you virtual tokens which don't seem to be worth the time it takes to earn even if you had a billion of them to blow on one prize, I would say it would be time better spent just playing the state power ball lottery every now and again, the odds are less astronomical than trying to win anything from Uncle Scrooge, I mean PCH.The winners all do seem to be well - dressed and living in nice houses, never do they show someone from a poor neighborhood getting a life- changing prize, usually some elder folks who probably won't even live long enough to collect the majority of the multi- year prize. It's said that the only time the window is open for someone to win in their system is only a fraction of an unannounced second, I suppose you would have to happen to be playing a game at that exact moment in time to ever win a big prize. I believe that's the only way these can be called games of chance, not so much in happening to have picked the right numbers or anything. I'm sure they make loads of money every time you use their browser to search out anything, and sell your personal information over and over again, makes you feel like you're' the hoe and they are your pimp, making you jump through hoops like an addicted well- trained seal. Their instant win games you NEVER make the field goal, usually come in last or next to last in the car race, never pick the winning horse, etc. Making you feel like an unlucky, unskilled schmuck. I think it's just filthy rich people having fun at other people's expense, selling people to death on cheap junk they doubtlessly even need to sell to stay rich until the end of days.
I like the games, they are free and you have a chance, remote as it may be, of winning something as well. It's better than going to a site where you have to pay money and face the prospect of losing more. I've won $10 twice, but nothing super substantial. Still it's fun to dream.
Pch is a rip off. You spend all this time to get tokens to use to buy things, I mean win things. Ya never win. The Spectrum PCH website always is down. Like when you try and enter, to win. But wait you didn't buy anything so then it goes into error mode. Speaking of buying, ya it say's it's cheap, but it really is not. Don't buy any food products from this site, one word~~Yuck~~ Takes everything at least 6 weeks to get to you. Give a finger, and don't even try. It is frustrating and will make you angry.
Email after email after email. Game after game. Points after points. Rewards after rewards. Got nothings cant win anything cant get anything with the rewards points even after using 100 of thousand points. PCH thinks that this is all a person has to do. I lost all hope with this farce.
I give PCH four stars for their marketing of dreams. They are very good at it. Some of their products are unique, not always worth the added 6 or 7 dollars shipping and handling, but that is their standard, so u either buy it or not. Some of their stuff is not up to standard, and returns are difficult.
What I like about PCH is their ability to make u believe u could actually win. ( odds r not in ur favor)... So u can go to bed and dream of something fun. I have been entering PCH for almost 40 years, every state I lived in, by mail, by computer. NEVER won. Can' t even win a silly $50 token prize. I dont appriciate such low odds; I have had a tree fall on my car, a water bottle land in my face in a Home improvement show audience crowd, had a car swerve 5 feet in front of me crash in a building and driver die, won a Turkey on the radio and had a 1965 mustang hit the 1965 mustang I was driving... total both... and walk away from it... But I cant win a simple prize on PCH? Odds just seem a little fishy after 40 years. However... I do thank for the dreams... and secretly hope for that knock on the door.
I CAN BUY THE SAME CRAP AT THE LOCAL DOLLAR STORE ONLY THE CRAP AT THE DOLLAR STORE IS BETTER QUALITY. THERE SHOULD BE BETTER LAWS IN PLACE TO PROTECT AMERICAN CONSUMERS FROM SCAMS LIKE THIS.
I'm a PhD and have been playing PCH games/lotto etc. for over a year and have nothing to show for it but nearly 60m tokens in one account amd 25m in another. Every evening I spend up to 100k tokens for "rewards". We order some small item at least once a month. All we ever receive is some $ store item worth "a dollar or two" and at least 20 emails a day from PCH. Yes, playing is enjoyable but entirely non-productive. What am I not understanding?
Promises, promises, promises! Never a delivery on their CONSTANT emails, etc. stating otherwise! I use to purchase stuff but it's all made in China, very poor quality such as rusts, broken on delivery, etc. years ago when I'd buy stuff I almost always could get the charges canceled. That was when the advertised price was times four. All of a sudden, the advertised prices changed to times five! And, their shipping and handling rates are crazy! S&H isn't based on weight, rather, by the price range of what you buy! They must make lots of money just on S&H and if you buy a necklace weighing ounces but costs 19.99 you pay exorbitant prices for S&H! I stopped buying anything from them because 99% is junk! I'm an elite member cause I play their games, but really, I'm a dope for staying with them so long hoping I'll win something. I will be dropping them after their next big award. I'm not surprised they are still in business because they are carefully run business. I just hope I'm one of many who drops them like a hot potato! Promises, promises, promises, very fulfilled!
I read the odds before I decided to go down the PCH highway so I had no illusions as to my chances. I play the games to kill time.
What is frustrating however, is the abysmally poor quality of the merchandise. I've purchased product three times and have been disappointed. The products are cheaply made but sold at near premium prices and in some cases the S & H was almost as much as the product itself.
Finally I said to myself, "how else can they pay celebrity endorsers, commit to millions in legacy costs and still make a profit?" I don't buy anything from PCH anymore.
I (stupidly) ordered a scratch remover for a one time price of $9.95. It came in and was two little pens that smelled like nail polish remover I was very doubtful since autos have clear coats over the paint and should not be screwed with. Directions said to press the point down to get the chemical to flow. Nothing ever flowed from the tip. Seemed dry. After trying a few times i opened the thing and it was totally dry. They sent a bill for $17.98 which i refuse to pay. I sent the $9.95 plus 7% tax for our state sales tax $10.65. They keep billing and i keep putting in trash. If they want to try to ruin my credit for $7.00, go right ahead. I'm 75 and don't expect to purchase another anything to finance in this llife, so... happy journey! Bunch of scammers NOBODY wins. Just a filthy way to get rid of chinese crap that won't sell anywhere else.
Junk and scammers. Should be shut down, totally.
Stay away from the crooks.

They try to push the cheapest, most trailer trash pieces of junk on their site. And then the messages try to shame you into buying something, because your 'cart is empty'... I mean really. Do you know how many times you go on the site to click on this or that and of course are bombarded with their cheesy, tasteless pieces of crap. Like who buys something each and every time? Nobody... unless you think you're going to win something... keep on dreaming...
Nobody seems to win the big prizes and if they do they don't make it public. How many cars have you seen given away? Me neither, but every month they have a car to waste your tokens on! They sent me a couple $10.00 checks which I did not win so I ripped them up... scam? Maybe, not worth the chance or the time. Both my husband and myself were contacted this year about orders WE DID NOT PLACE! When my husband contacted them they refused to take responsibility and just said, "sorry you changed your mind" WTH! My advice is if you never played don't start, it's addictive and you won't win!
Probable time for me to move on. Spent over 150 Million tokens with no win and that did not take a short amount of time to accumulate. Odds of winning $1000 1 Billion to 1. I also purchased 3 times: first two product broke in two days. All 3 low quality.
I have been playing PCH Sweepstakes for 16 years now and always had a good experience but lately has become a bit frustrating. I had stopped receiving emails and mail from PCH due to not taking a survey. I never received anything in the mail to take a survey and no one contacted me by phone with no message left to call them back to take a survey. Because I didn't respond my I was taken off their mail and email list um what?
Also stay aware of items you purchase on line with them as I paid my bill online them to get the same bill two weeks later by mail I have been double billed many times just pay attention to what you order with them.
Answer: Probably but we keep playing as the games do give us something to do. Wouldn't bet on a big win however.
Answer: Am I still in the running for PCH's $7,000.00 a week win Thanks hoping for good news. My computer was down for two days. Does this disqualify me
Answer: I know they keep changing the dates for winning and they say no purchase needed until the end with a notice to buy something and you will be on their list they should be accounted for to better business bureau and all the items are made in china this company must be owned by china I'm done with them
Answer: Oh this is big time scam. Like I said in my review we put to much time into this wack company that when see anything about money we think it's them. Nobody ever wins there special early look prizes unless it's a guaranteed giveaway.
Answer: Well, and just as I expected, the October 23 "special early look" did NOT result in the "mega prize" being awarded. Surprise, surprise! I saw that they immediately started advertising on TV their next "mega prize" (what is it now? $5000 a week for life? Bet they don't award that one, either!) Just a scam to drum up sales to weak-minded people who actually think they have a snowball's chance in you-know-where to win anything at odds of almost 2 billion to one. A total fraud!
Answer: I didn't know this but it makes sense as there is nothing to it but the same thing day after day. PCH has gone downhill with games, lately, as even the daily puzzles, now, just drag and are hard to move the pieces. Too many puzzles and probably too many people playing, Also same thing, every day and are only for fun to kill time with. Maybe, now, they are just not monitoring the sites to see their problems. Bingo, no great loss.
