Hello Support Team,
I am reaching out again regarding an issue that has remained unresolved for a long time. My balance has been disabled for the past 25 days, and I am still unable to access or use my funds normally.
This situation is causing significant inconvenience, and I have not received a clear resolution yet. I kindly request you to urgently review my account, investigate the reason behind this restriction, and provide a proper update on when it will be resolved.
If there is any verification or additional information required from my side, please inform me immediately so I can complete it without delay. I would also appreciate a clear explanation of the issue and the expected timeframe for resolution.
I request your urgent attention to this matter as it has already been pending for too long. Looking forward to a prompt and final resolution.
Thank you.
I've had an extremely disappointing experience with Payoneer. After being locked out of my account for nearly six months with no meaningful assistance, I finally regained access, only to be informed less than a month later that my account had been permanently closed for allegedly violating the company's Terms of Service. Payoneer refused to explain what specific rule I supposedly broke. As a busy business professional who only uses Payoneer to pay freelancers promptly, any suggestion that I misused the service is completely unfounded. When I attempted to escalate the issue, I was told not to, and even a letter I sent via FedEx to the CEO was dismissed and redirected back to the same unhelpful customer service department. This lack of accountability and transparency is unacceptable for a financial institution. It's especially disappointing given that I had successfully used Payoneer for years to transfer funds to my freelancers. I've since heard from several freelancers who've had their accounts closed without explanation as well. If you currently use Payoneer or are considering it, I strongly advise caution. The company has a pattern of freezing accounts, both for customers and their freelancers, and forcing users to go through burdensome verification processes for standard transfers. Thankfully, I've since switched to another payment service with 24/7 customer support and a much simpler, more reliable system. As a warning to others, this was the exact message I received: "Following our review of your Payoneer account details and activities, which included an extensive investigation and careful consideration, on July 21,2025, Payoneer chose to cease the provision of the Payoneer Payment Services to you... Payoneer is under no obligation to disclose the reason for the closure."
I have had an extremely disappointing experience with Payoneer. I've been trying to resolve a refund and account funding issue since 9 February, with multiple support cases open and no meaningful resolution. Support supervisors have even told me it could take up to 24 additional business days for my refund — which is unacceptable.
My Dutch business bank account was incorrectly classified as personal, my payment methods are unusable, and every support response requires explaining the issue again from scratch. This has cost me time, money (on international calls), and operational delays for my business.
Customer support lacks continuity, direct accountability, and real solutions. I cannot recommend Payoneer for business use — especially if you need consistent access to your funds or responsive support.

I am extremely disappointed with Payoneer's service. My payment has been on hold for 3 days, and every time I contact support, they simply say "you will be notified in 24 hours or less," but nothing ever happens. There is no real update, no resolution, and no responsibility taken by the support team. This delay has caused serious inconvenience and frustration. Very poor service — I expected much better from Payoneer.
Payoneer is the worst financial service I have ever used. My account has been frozen for over 30 days with no explanation and no solution. They keep lying by saying it's "under review," but nothing ever happens. I can't withdraw my money, I can't receive payments, and my entire business is suffering because of their incompetence. Their so-called support team is a joke. Every day they send me useless emails saying "you'll be updated in 24 hours," but it has already been a month! This is not just unprofessional, it's unethical and abusive. They are holding my money hostage without reason. Payoneer is unreliable, careless, and completely untrustworthy. If you value your time and money, avoid them at all costs.
My Payoneer account was unfairly closed without any valid reason. I have been a loyal customer since 2023, receiving clean payments only from trusted platforms like eBay, Etsy, and Amazon Kindle. Despite my clean history, Payoneer restricted my account and ignored my repeated support requests. This is unprofessional and shows that Payoneer does not value its customers. They constantly close accounts without reason, provide no real solutions, and leave clients without access to their funds. I demand an immediate review of my case and reinstatement of my account. If Payoneer continues to ignore me, I will escalate this matter to every possible consumer protection authority and public platform.
Alice was incredibly polite, attentive, and truly willing to help. She clearly explained several ways to resolve my issue and honestly described the pros and cons of each option. That kind of professionalism and empathy builds real trust in Payoneer. Please make sure she gets recognized — we need more people like her in customer service.
My account was blocked for no known reason. On my first try I contacted payoneer's hotline, and immediately got an answer. Before ending the call they made sure my account is ok.
I had multiple years of experience using Payoneer, and though there have been hick-ups, there is a clear path of improvement, and due to that I am stubborn, hence can see things moving forward.
The customer experience experienced today was fantastic.
I had a great experience with Payoneer's customer service. The associate was friendly, knowledgeable, and provided clear answers to all my questions. They made sure I felt supported throughout the process and helped resolve my issue quickly. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the assistance I received.
Been using Payoneer 3 years and counting, I recently had an issue that got resolved. I just wish they sent an apology email for the delay. Overall, Payoneer is good.
I wish all companies had the same high-quality technical support and competent specialists as Payoneer. Today, it is a model of quality service. I wish the company prosperity and good health to its employees.
I had never faced any issue related to my receiving payments on this Platform. Dealing is Professional and issue resolving process is also outstanding.
My account was suddenly locked since Nov 20th. One week later I asked the reason why that took so long for review. Custom care tagged it with a ticket. Now we will take 2 weeks, and still nothing... 2 to 3 days is acceptable... Not fair at all. It looks like I am punished for things I didn't do. Really furstrating situation. People need to be prepared, if this process was detailed before using this service, sure many won't use it... How long it will last from now?
I've been dealing with one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever encountered. $10,500 was stolen from my account through fraudulent transactions — without any email or SMS confirmation from Payoneer. This is a serious security failure. I reported the issue immediately. Google confirmed the fraud and processed the chargeback in 24 hours. Payoneer gave me written confirmation that the refund would be issued by October 9. But weeks later, nothing has happened. I have contacted Payoneer support around 25 times, and every time I get new excuses, delays, or copy-paste replies. I've been promised multiple calls that never happened. This is not how a financial company should treat its customers. The lack of accountability, urgency, and transparency is shocking. I have full written proof, chat transcripts, and Google confirmation, yet Payoneer continues to stall.
This is more than bad service — it's negligence.
To the Support Team, Thank you for patiently assisting me and helping resolve my concern. My issue was caused by using an old verification code instead of the latest one. I was able to temporarily access my Payoneer account, but afterward, the website displayed "Access Denied." After a few hours, I discovered that using my phone's data instead of my home Wi-Fi allowed me to log in successfully. As advised, I'll contact my internet provider and reboot my modem since the issue seems to be on my Wi-Fi's end. I truly commend how meticulous the company is when it comes to security. It only proves how trustworthy Payoneer is in protecting customers' privacy and data. I hope there's no bigger issue beyond this, but overall, I'm very grateful. Payoneer is indeed a great company. My sincerest thanks!
Miara
I've been working with Payoneer since 2020. Until recently, everything was fine. But they asked for a utility review again. I sent the requested document. This operation usually takes 3 days. I'm waiting for a reply for more than 2 months, and nothing has happened. At first, they sent standard messages like, "You're a very important customer, we're trying to resolve this as quickly as possible."but now they don't even give out my messages. Awful expirience. I DO NOT RECOMEND working with Payoneer
I'm really satisfied with Payoneer's support team. My account issue was handled professionally and resolved completely. The communication was clear, and the response time was much better than I expected. I appreciate how the team followed up properly and made sure everything was working fine again. Great customer service overall!
I recently had an issue with my Payoneer account, and their team helped me solve it very quickly. I really appreciate their support. The customer service was professional, helpful, and very clear in communication.
Overall, I had a great experience talking to them. Thank you, Payoneer team!
My payment was initiated by my payor on Friday, September 19, but has not yet been initiated for transfer to my banking account. Now I'll be waiting for my funds until possibly Wednesday, nearly a week later. This is ridiculous in this day and age of instant transactions.
These guys make it so hard for people to enable their accounts just so that they can receive the money owed through them.
This account is forced on people by ebay, and they essentially hold your money hostage unless they complete stupid tasks.
Not even my banks have ever been this annoying.
I provided everything they asked for so I can withdraw MY money, and they still ask for more.
I gave them a picture with a VERY CLEARLY visible date, and yet they tell me that it's not readable.
The entire system is EXTREMELY frustrating and I can't stress that enough.
Never have I seen a system designed to frustrate the hell out of their customers.
Not paypal, not Wise, not any bank I've ever dealt with in my life, just this one, payoneer.
It's no wonder the only way they're getting any customers is by forcing the "service" down the throat of ebay users. Because otherwise they wouldn't get a damn soul.
I have been using Payoneer since 2020 and it has helped me alot in my freelance journey. Getting paid from clients all over the world with ease and withdrawals have been smooth as butter. My go to choice will always be Payoneer.
I recently had an issue where the funds were reflected in my app but I couldn't access it. The rep was able to quickly identify why and resolve it.
I've been with Payoneer for close to 10 years and as a Jamaican it has always been the most convenient way for me to get paid by international clients.
I was having an issue with verification because the code wasn't coming through. I contacted the customer support team, and they listened to my issue, identified the cause, and resolved it quickly. I'm very grateful to the agent for helping me out of this awkward situation. Thank you!
My issue was not on any general list of options, so had to go through lost cards. Lady was helpful and provided us with new email with new pin. Experience overall was good and our problem was solved.
To ensure account security and compliance, Payoneer adopts a more rigorous document review process. As a result, more complete documentation may be required, and the approval time may take a bit longer — but this also means greater security and protection.
My experience with Payoneer has been very good. The support team is professional, responsive, and always helpful in resolving issues quickly. I appreciate the clear communication and reliable service. Overall, I'm satisfied with the experience and look forward to continuing to use Payoneer.
I decided for payoneer by comments in the web and ai. They all talk in favor of payoneer. But since i installed, cant dee the way to deposit 100 us in My account in order to request a real card..
As someone who navigates cross-border transactions and multilingual workflows daily, I've found Payoneer to be a reliable and efficient partner in global finance. Their platform is intuitive, secure, and tailored for professionals and businesses that operate across borders. Whether you're receiving international payments, managing multiple currencies, or streamlining payouts, Payoneer delivers with precision. What truly sets Payoneer apart is their customer support. When I encountered an account issue, their representative Cho handled it with empathy, clarity, and professionalism—turning a stressful moment into a smooth resolution. That level of care isn't just rare—it's transformative. Payoneer isn't just a payment solution. It's a bridge between global opportunity and local empowerment. For freelancers, entrepreneurs, and teams working across cultures and currencies, it's a platform that understands the stakes and delivers peace of mind.
I had an excellent experience with Payoneer's customer support on October 24th. I spoke with a representative named Naz (I'm not sure of the exact spelling), and she was absolutely wonderful. She was genuine, sweet, and truly eager to help. Not only did she resolve my issue efficiently, but she also went above and beyond by offering additional assistance in other areas. Her professionalism and kindness really stood out. Overall, I'm very pleased with the service and would confidently rate my experience 5 stars.
My Payoneer account has been blocked since January 17, and I was later informed that the account was permanently closed. I understand that Payoneer may apply internal security and compliance procedures, but my main concern is the access to my remaining funds.
For several months, I have been asking for a clear explanation about how and when my funds can be released, but I have not received a concrete timeline or solution.
I am not asking for the account to be reopened. I am asking for a clear process to recover the money that remains in the account.
I am sharing this publicly because the lack of transparency and the long delay have caused serious stress and financial uncertainty. I hope Payoneer can review this case and provide a clear written answer regarding the release of my funds.
I had a minor issue with my Payoner account, it was my fault for not understanding well what was the issue, however on the phone the very kind lady helped me and even accidentally the call got cut by accident and she called me back right away to finish the situation with 200% satisfaction for me.
Thank you Payoner team!
I am not getting a verification code when I try to log in to my Payoneer account. I didn't get any solution by mailing. After I tried to reach out by phone call, call center easily solved all my problems.
Great and Supportive customer support, thoroughly helped me throughout my problem. I connected them over call and due to some network issue it got disconnected, Ms. Kim called me back and helped me resolve my issue.
I cannot use my Payoneer card to recharge my debit card. Every time I use it, it says that an authentication error occurred, please try again later. They replaced my virtual card and remove the authentication process but my issue hasn't been resolved yet. I hope they can fix it because I need to use my money to cover all my month's expenses.
Good service and im u resolve the problems with easy. Nextime will easy to contact customer service payoneer. Keep in touch. Thanks to Ansel for helping me..
It was my first time using Payoneer, and I encountered many problems. With the help of the service specialist, all the problems were solved. The experience was great!
Google using Payoneer as a payment service for refunds is awful. It is not a straightforward process and keeps asking me for business info when I am not a business. I just want a Google refund and I do not want a Payoneer account going forward.
I'd been using Payoneer for more than a year. And so far, I admire their customer service team. If my payments get delayed, it's easy fix because they're available 24/7.
I had a problem trying to withdraw cash from an ITM and was confused by the messages from the ATM that the issuer has canceled the transaction.
People from customer care have reassured me that thee was no problem but the problem persisted. After a while it was clear, with their help, that the card chip is malfunctioning. We swiftly agreed to order a new card, and resolve the issue I was facing. The people from customer services were on the top of their assignments.
There is no protection from scammers.
The company will not protect you, as it did not protect me. The scammers charged me a significant amount on a day off. Payoneer support DID NOT WORK!
I received my payment through Payoneer for the 5th or so times but this time instead of releasing the funds they sent an email to say that my funds are withheld and that I needed to fill in a tax form. I called them and explained that I had filled in the form in July 2025. The first person told me that this particular company that paid me needed a tax form filled in (it's always the same company that pays me). I ended the call and phoned again. The second person said that I had filled in the form in 2023 and that I need to do it again. I ended the call and called again for the third time and luckily I found someone who was patient, looked into my case and understood that I had already completed the tax form and didn't need to do it again and so she immediately released the funds. Also the fees or the exchange rate used is so unfavorable.
I am Dmitriy Kokin. My Payoneer account was blocked about 15 days ago, and at the same time, a payment (300,000 JPY) sent from a Japanese bank to Japanese virtual bank via Payoneer was canceled. Since then, I haven't received any refund.
I have contacted the support team multiple times, but I only received automated replies with no clear explanation or update. Until this issue, I had a positive experience with Payoneer, but this situation has been extremely disappointing and stressful.
I sincerely hope that Payoneer will resolve this issue quickly and improve communication with affected users.
It was a releaf to not hear background noise while talking to the Payoneer rep. Not this rep but usually when I call Payoneer it's like I hear lots of others people talking and yelling in the background. When I firsrr the called and explained my problem I was passed on to this Payoneer rep and she quickly fixed my problem.
Payoneer has turned KYC and AML "compliance" into a weapon. They drag you through endless verification loops for months, rejecting documents for ever-changing reasons. One representative says it's fine, the next rejects it. They hit you with the same scripted AI responses over and over while your money sits there until they can take it from you.
They hide behind "we have to follow regulations" while twisting those rules as much as they can get away with. It's like their strategy is to prolong the process until the annual maintenance fee deadline hits, quietly taking their cut from your balance. Or until your balance is below the withdrawal threshold. Technically, it might stay just inside the legal lines, but it feels like theft dressed up as compliance and it's unethical. They may be required by law to do KYC, but they are not required to wait until they are already in possession of your money to do it.
I did a small job on UpWork. The only method they gave me to withdraw the money was Payoneer. So I created a Payoneer account, and Upwork automatically sent the money ($179 USD) there. A year later, without warning, Payoneer charged a yearly fee, leaving only $149 USD in the account.
Now, I'm trying to withdraw those $149 USD from Payoneer. I have been trying for several months, but they're making it extremely difficult, to the point where it is practically impossible for me to get my money back. Could it be because the yearly fee is due soon?
When I created the account and transferred the money, Payoneer didn't ask for any documents. They just allowed me to open the account and took my money with no questions asked. Now that I want my money back, they are demanding documents that I simply don't have. No matter how much I explain that I don't have those documents, they keep insisting on them. I can't give them something that doesn't exist and that is not possible for me to get.
They made me verify my ID, which I did. Now they are demanding proof of address. I sent them everything I have, but they keep rejecting everything. They explicitly told me in some cases that a certain document would be accepted in my particular situation, only to immediately reject it once I sent it, contradicting themselves each time. They're also asking for documents with highly private information, which would become a security issue if they were to end up in the wrong hands.
They are acting in what I can only think of as bad faith and predatory practice after my experience with them. They are using regulatory compliance (KYC/AML) as cover for what amounts to holding my money hostage until I produce documents they didn't require when accepting the funds.
Payoneer has full, direct visibility into the legitimate origin of these funds; their trusted partner Upwork. There has been zero other activity on the account. This is a transparent, insignificant low-value, low-risk case. There are no indicators whatsoever of high risk or unusual activity. In such cases, Payoneer can allow for less strict requirements. Repeated and escalating demands for yet more proof of address verification are disproportionately strict and overly reactive.
After reading through lots of similar stories in different places on the internet, it's clear that this is a pattern they repeat over and over with a ton of people.
They seem to target the small accounts the most. They know most people won't spend weeks or months fighting over $150. So those making the least amount of money and who need it the most are the ones who get screwed the hardest.
They have practically zero real customer service. It's all automated AI bots that ignore everything you say and just spit out the same generic nonsense. I have sent them close to 40 emails by now during the past few months. Most of them are me practically repeating the same thing over and over again to them. Their AI picks just a small part of my emails to respond to and ignores everything else.
I learned the hard way and want to warn others: stay away from Payoneer!
And for those in this situation already, don't give up! Don't let them have your money because you feel it's not enough to be worth fighting for. It's not about the money; it's about not letting them get away with this shady practice of making money little by little by screwing over the most vulnerable freelancers.

Dear Comblé,
Thank you for your review. We regret to hear that your account has been closed and apologize for the inconvenience this has caused.
Please be advised that Payoneer operates in compliance with the international financial business regulations, and under no circumstances would we close a customer's account without a valid reason.
At Payoneer, we regularly review customer activity in order to keep our payment platform safe for everyone. When we notice some of the activity that has gone against our Terms and Conditions, as a regulated financial business, we are required to stop offering our services.
We understand that your account closure might have caused difficulties; however, this decision can't be reversed. Please note that our Customer Service team is not always able to provide additional details on account cancellations. This may be due to legal, administrative, or regulatory restrictions. In this case, Customer Service will indicate that the account was closed for "undisclosed reasons".

AVOID PAYONEER - ACCOUNT FROZEN DESPITE COMPLETING ALL REQUIREMENTS
I completed every single KYC verification document by December 30,2025. My Verification Center shows ALL requirements as "APPROVED": Passport - Approved Photo with date - Approved Visual identity verification - Approved Detail Mismatch questionnaire - Approved Store URL - Approved Zero open items remaining
Yet as of January 5,2026 (6+ DAYS after final approval), my GBP, EUR, and USD account balances remain DISABLED. No explanation provided despite multiple escalations.
PAYONEER'S FALSE PROMISES: - Website states: "1-3 business days for account activation" - Reality: 6+ days and still disabled - Agent "Princess" promised "24 business hours" on Dec 27 - never fulfilled - Multiple agents say "escalated to relevant team" - no action taken
MY ATTEMPTS TO RESOLVE: Email support (Case #**************) - only generic responses Live chat (3+ separate sessions) - acknowledged but no resolution Phone support (*******695) - no specific timeline given Executive escalation email - completely ignored
FINANCIAL DAMAGE: - Cannot access $3,000+ in legitimate e-commerce earnings - Amazon marketplace disbursements frozen for 21+ days - eBay marketplace payments inaccessible for 14+ days - Business operations completely paralyzed - Daily income loss continues to accumulate
OFFICIAL COMPLAINTS FILED: Due to Payoneer's failure to resolve this, I filed formal complaints with: Better Business Bureau (BBB): Case #[your number] Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB): Case #[your number]
THE REAL PROBLEM: This is a PATTERN. Multiple users online report the exact same issue - verification requirements show "approved" but accounts remain disabled indefinitely. Payoneer's automated system passes you, but manual restrictions remain without explanation.
Their customer service provides only scripted responses with no substantive help. No accountability, no transparency, no timeline.
RECOMMENDATION: If you need reliable payment processing, use Wise (TransferWise), PayPal, or literally ANY other provider. Don't risk your hard-earned money with Payoneer's broken verification system and unresponsive support.
Your funds will be held hostage with no recourse.

There is no protection from scammers. The company will not protect you, as it did not protect me. The scammers charged me a significant amount on a day off. Payoneer support DID NOT WORK!

Hello,
Thank you for sharing your experience. We understand how upsetting this situation must have been and truly regret the frustration it caused. Sometimes, the outcome may not always be as expected, as we must operate within strict guidelines and comply with our Terms and Conditions, which are agreed to upon registration. We take account security very seriously. While we understand your disappointment, we hope you can appreciate the regulatory and operational limits we must follow.
If you have any additional information you'd like us to review, you're welcome to reach out.
Very good. Thanks a lot. Thank you very much for your help. Everything was top notch. The only problem is that it is very difficult to contact support in writing. I would like to see this service improved. Sincerely, Sergey.
Answer:Definitely a scam, they are not listed on the The Mastercard Compliant Service Provider List of which anyone can view and download directly from Mastercard https://www.mastercard.us/en-us/merchants/safety-security/security-recommendations/service-providers-need-to-know.html
If Payoneer is legit why isn't it on the list like Paypal and alllll the other legit companies? It is because they are NOT legit and they are a scam!

We hope for your kind understanding!
Best,
Alex from the Payoneer team
