After getting quoted full paint jobs because they "couldn't match the paint", by a couple of places for a few scratches, I figured there had to be a better solution! So I got online and searched products that would work. I can't across Paint Scratch. Their products are easy to use and work great. I'm still to the stage where I need to wet sand and blend everything in, but wow, what a savings for me! Recommend this for scratches to the metal for sure!

Works good in a pinch, like when my air compressor is down.

The primer coat (1 coat/day for three days) had to be striped off bc anything scratching against it took the three coats off down to the black plastic cup holder. I did prep the surface if the plastic with fine steel wool but the 1st primer coat was extremely rough and required another round with the steel wool. This may all be on me but it seemed easier to strip off the primer, re-prep the plastic surface and and start over. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

To my surprise, the paint matched very well, i coudnt ask for a closer match in a can. The spray max catalyzed clear is required for a factory level finish.

The process to search for the right color code was easy. The paint was a close match to the original paint. I have not tried the paint pen, but I would like to.
