Got this for my 9 week old yellow lab puppy. The diameter is bit too thick for a puppy this small, but it works fine for getting a quick collar and leash on her for potty time. As she grows, it will be a lot less overpowering. It's very well made and an excellent buy. As with most of the British leads, it tends to curl up. A simple swivel in any of these leads would make life so much easier.
