I signed up for 1 year, NO RESULTS AT ALL... then I contacted Outbound Engine on several occasions to cancel this crapping service NO RESPONSE BY EMAIL OR PHONE. HOWEVER, OUTBOUND was billing me month after month for an additional 4 months after receiving cancellation. My Credit card is locked and my pitbull attorney is involved. They are crooks and will be brought to justice.
DON'T GO WITH OUTBOUND ENGINE! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I HAVE CALLED REPEATEDLY ABOUT ISSUES AND EVERYTIME I CALL- THEY SAY THEY ARE GOING TO LOOK INTO IT! I CALLED AND SAID I WANT A MANAGER- AND THEY SAID SHE WOULD CALL ME BACK- AND I STILL AM WAITING AND WAITING AND WAITING AND WAITING!
First off, Outbound engine before the purchase by Elm Street had excellent customer service. Once Elm Street purchased the company, they raised our price, yet their website reflects a far lower rate. We decided to just cancel the service as we have found an alternative company to use. The company says that they will call to go over the cancellation. 7 days later no phone call. I called to get transferred to somebody directly and the person on the phone said they don't have the capability to transfer me to that department.
I was told a new owner took it over, it took a week for me to reach customer service. Then after giving my name they hang up. I started getting Spam subscriber a bunch of them with no names? The company could not keep me connected to FB but claimed they were posting? They don't answer emails anymore either? I'm not sure what happen but it's a WASTE of MONEY now. I was told you go into a Cube now so they don't know when someone can call you back. I called them on Monday and the recording said they were closed? It's sad, they use to be great!
I have tried calling to cancel my service with Outbound Engine's marketing due to the fact that what they promised is not what they are delivering. I have called for at least six weeks with promises to call back and never receive one! 6 weeks! Yet they charge my card like clockwork autopay! Do not recommend!
When I signed up they promised that I would get a phone call every month to go over the progress of using this tool to grow my business and to go over any questions I had, but they only called me twice and it's been over six months ago. Also, at the beginning they were posting about 12 times per month, and in the last two months they only posted once on my face book account. When I called them, they said sorry but we don't do the call any more and sorry for not letting you know and sorry for not letting you know about the few posts on face book... I was trying to have a conversation with them and hear from them not that they were sorry, but instead, what they were going to do to help me to grow my business though Outboundengine! But it was clear that they did not care, they were so cold and just said: do you want to cancel your account? What do you want to do? They didn't care! I need social media to get my name and company out there, but if they are not going to do their part, then what good is it for me (or anyone) to sign up with them.
Outbound engine is fine if all want to do is send *******@ppy content forever. Plus I have had no contact from an account manager for 7 months. You can't unsubscribe.
If you email they tell you have to call. If you call no one is Available. I called the direct phone number on the email signature or Shawna Richard's email telling me I had to call to cancel, the recording says you can't call this number, send an email. An insider told they are swirling to bowl about to go under. It's obvious they care nothing about customer service and only want to charge your card one more month. My first call on Monday is to the state AG. Read the BBB complaints. They are all the same. Circle jerk trying to unsubscribe
Runaway! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! This company is nothing but scammers. Service is horrible and they refuse to allow you to cancel after they get your credit card. I've been calling and emailing daily for weeks and every single time I call including when I had my credit card company call they say I have to speak to a solutions specialist and they are never available and they promise a call back that day. Read the reviews. This is what they do to EVERYONE that tries to cancel. They are a horrible company with zero ethics.
This company is easy and eager to sign up for. Their services are just OK. Once you've decided that you no longer want the services, you have to SPEAK with someone specific who you can NEVER contact to cancel your services. Meanwhile, they continue to siphon money from your account. Not worth the headache and irritation.
Don't waste your money or time with these people and this company. They mislead you with false information. When you try to speak with someone to cancel they give you the run around and make it impossible.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! The sales rep lied about the services that they provide. She told me that they get me to the top of google searches. On my onboarding call the account representative told me that they do not offer that. I had already signed the one year contract at that point. I have since tried on multiple occasions to cancel my account, but they have told me at least 10 times that the cancellation department isn't available and will call me back. It is a scam and I will be reporting them to BBB tomorrow.
They offer very little in comparison to other marketing companies, yet they want to throw a contract that you signed with them in your face stating because of if you can't break it unless you pay them 6 months in advance for doing absolutely nothing. The customer service is horrible. They make promises to contact you back but never do so you instead have to turn around and contact them. They probably deal with this alot which is why they need a contract. Please DO NOT UTILIZE THEIR SERVICES!
Looking at the reviews I just dodged a whole bullet with this company. First off the customer service is horrible. Rudeness and speaking in a condescending manner must be a prerequisite to getting hired. I called to cancel before the so called onboarding process and I was told someone would call me but I called them after an hour and was put on hold for 20 minutes. Since I was not onboarded and had not signed an agreement I thought it would be an easy process but I was fooled. I was lied to first off because she said my account was already set up and that I already had a website set up but she said I didn't have a domain and I'm not the smartest person in the world but I thought that you had to have a domain in order to access the website and she told me that she was able to cancel my service because there was no agreement on file. That's what you should've said in the first place instead of being rude and taking me around in circles just to cancel something that I didn't want any longer, don't deal with this company. You can get your real estate business or any business that you have marketed without their services. They have other avenues out there that won't give you a headache.
If you are in Real Estate and you value your client list as much as I do, be careful what you sign up for. What I was sold and what I got was vastly different. I was told I was getting a client data base as well as someone to manage my social media. The social media part was pretty good actually, but find someone local and I'm sure they'll do as well as this company can. Their content was good, but it's a lot to pay for a few posts a week. The emails did not generate any new clients or anything that was very engaging. The data base is non existent. Before I knew it I was locked into a year contract on something I could have done myself. I highly DO NOT recommend this. If you are new to the business, maybe this is for you, but if your experienced and successful at all your client list is your most valuable tool and this isn't what's best for them. They constantly lost my login for LinkedIn and they don't have anything for Twitter, so basically I was paying north of $150/month for a few Facebook posts and an email a week. It took me over 2 weeks to cancel when I was very clear only a couple of months in that I was done when my contract was up. "We have a note in your account". Magically that wasn't there and the length of time it took to speak to someone to cancel it cost me another month. Don't be fooled, shame on me, into signing up for something for a year that is untested to what you may need/want. I've been fooled by companies like this before and had similar results. It's true what they say that they are all the same. Find someone local that you can have a conversation with and cancel at any point. Why lock someone into a year contract if your service is so much better than anyone else? Funny that I can't leave a review on their website. No one will probably ever read this and I'm sorry about that.
OutboundEngine is excellent at providing a Social Media presence; however, their content or campaigns are sub-par. In 10 months, I've had a maximum of 45 impressions on each post and four likes versus my simple un-curated stories that garnered over 200 impressions and 100 likes in less than 24 hours.
Too expensive for what you get. Poor response rate. The program gives you NO result. Weak customer service. Be careful. I am paying $299 monthly for 2 emails a month... not worth it at all.
Request to cancel the service. They will bounce you to different dept. They assign you to one person and this person will not provide you any types of confirmation that you requested the cancellation. Worst service every. I email and call to cancel for last 2 months and no one will cancel your service!
I have used Outbound Engine for a number of years; however, I am not happy with the response rate from my clients and feel it is now the time to end my membership/subscription. I have been told that they will but that I need to speak to one of their managers. They are unavailable every time I call, and then are told they will call me. So far I have waited, for over a month and am still getting billed $329.00. I am on a month-month plan and was told I could stop anytime by giving Notice.
Used this service for two years and spent my time learning about crm's, click funnels, and advertising. There are far more cheaper services out there and when you cancel them they hit you for a 30 day cancellation. As you know any business that charges a cancellation fee after you fulfill your contract is a predator. It's only 150 bucks, yet it is a sign of a company that charges too much and then will not let you go professionally. Stay away
The company will start out doing what they state but then will disappear. When you decide to cancel the person in charge of cancelling will be "out to lunch" indefinitely. Literally a couple months. Not to mention that others in your profession will be sending out the same content to some of the same people. Save your money.
