Easy easy easy
Easy to order, but product quality and speed of delivery are key to shopper satisfaction. The insole arrived a day early. Perfect; I needed the item for an AT hike. But product quality did not meet expectations because the insole did not form to my arch as expected. The insole fit the size 9 hiking boot without modification. The insole was then heated at 200 degrees for three minutes at which point the indicator turned ~50% black. I placed the insoles in the boots and stood in them for two minutes. The profile of the arch did not change at any point in the process. Without a change in the profile, the insole was a painful addition to the boot.
When contacted within a week of ordering the item, OrthoticShop customer service would not recognize the manufacturer's guarantee which states: "...if you are not satisfied with your SOLE purchase for any reason at all, simply return it within ninety days of the original purchase for a replacement or refund." OrthoticShop would only accept a return if the product was "new".
To make matters worse - SOLE has not responded to an email now a week old. So, SOLE has failed to honor its own guarantee - or is very slow to recognize customer dissatisfaction. Or, SOLE has elected to ignore my email - giving rise to plausible deniability.
