The overall reputation of the company is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues with ticket delivery, refund policies, and customer service responsiveness. Many customers report being charged exorbitant fees, receiving invalid tickets, and facing unresponsive support channels, leading to frustrations and claims of being scammed. While some customers appreciate the variety of events offered, the overwhelming sentiment reflects a lack of trust and reliability. The company's rigid policies regarding refunds, particularly for postponed events, further exacerbate negative perceptions, suggesting a need for improved customer service and clearer communication.

Got great seats to a great show, really excited, scrambling now to see who i take with me. Thanks everyone
A lot of emails for one purchase, which ones to save? I have never used this service before so really confused. Please help me to figure all this out! I'm very excited about the show and scared I'll loose the right info to get in.
An update: I called the phone number I ordered tickets on so that maybe I could exchange them for the tickets I was told I was buying. (the handicap accessible ones) She told me that they couldn't do it because they don't have access to any spciffic seat number. So even though I could tell her the exact seats I wanted, (and agreed to buy!) I would have to call the venue where the concert was going to be at. So I called the Blue Cross arina and they said they couldn't do anything about it because they didn't sell me the tickets. She said that if the tickets said "Ticketmaster" on them, I'd have to call them. So I called Ticketmaster and they said that the tickets weren't purchased through them (even though I got the number to order the tickets off of their online site!) and that someone bought those tickets but didn't want them, so they were resold to me. This makes NO SENSE AT ALL since I bought the tickets within the first hour of the first day they went on sale! She was willing to sell me the two tickets I wanted to have in addition to the two I already have! So I'd have to sell the two wrong tickets myself!
I received an e-mail yesterday about "pre sale" tickets for the Luke Bryan concert at the Blue Cross Arena. I spent over an hour yesterday trying to buy handicap accessible tickets on line through Ticketmaster. When I got nowhere, I went to the box office only to be told that they couldn't sell any of his concert tickets until today. That I could only get pre-sale tickets through Ticketmaster. When I explained that I couldn't buy "handicap accessible" through them, she insisted that I could. Not being able to sleep last night, I got on the internet at 4 AM and by 6 AM I found two seats I wanted to buy. However even though the seats were available on the seating chart, they didn't come up for sale. So I found the phone number 800 854 2196, but I had to wait until 8 AM to call it. When I did get through, I talked to Billy. He tried to sell me tickets closer to the front of that section for over $400 each. Having been there before, I am pretty sure that those seats are NOT for handicapped seating, even though he insisted they were. I told him the exact seats I wanted (Sec 105 Row P seats 8 & 9) and told him they were listed for two different prices on the website: $89.75@ & $129@. So he supposedly he sold me those two seats for the $129@ price. However with all of the fees and added charges, the total came to $331.25! As outrageous as this was, when I printed my tickets out, they were seats # 13 & 14 (NOT 8 & 9!) and the price on them was the cheaper price of $89.75@! Aside from getting the wrong seats at an outrageous price, now I just have to pray that they will be handicap accessible! And of course you have a no refund policy! As far as I am concerned, Ticketmaster is a totally incompetent company that just wants to rip customers off! As inconvenient as it may be, the only way I will buy tickets from now on is to go strait to the box office!
Fees are super high and the delivery fee for mailing two tickets is astronomical. We all know your corporate account with whatever shipping company you use charges you approx $2 or less, but you are charging the consumer $15. This is a $#*!ty money grabbing exercise. I will not purchase here again
This is the 2nd concert we have bought tickets for from OnlineCity Tickets. I was very pleased with the ease of the website & friendly customer service agents. Thanks so much for helping us out. :)
If the ticket turns out being fraud, I'll be so sad because this is my birthday and Ive never had a Phish show for my Birthday before.
It was easy ordering on this site but the extra fees they charge on each ticket is really high. Next time I'll go to the event space and buy there personally.
I am distressed over this!. I received tickets with the wrong name and order number on it. I can't imagine writing 100 words or characters about this.
I purchased 2 tickets to a concert in Wichita, KS, that the venue has advised are not valid and would not be accepted. OnlineCity Tickets Customer service says the venue can only determine that by scanning the ticket the day of the event. They would not allow a refund or cancellation by their policy. This may result in a very unpleasant surprise during our anniversary celebration.
Rating of 3 now because it may be a 5 if valid or a 1 if fraudulent.
Best service that I have seen in a long time. You have grate prices. You have many venues that you show at
I would buy tickets from this site. You made it easy to understand and show in detail how to find your seats you want and what area you would want.
The tickets I purchased had a face value of $49.00 your site charged be $89.00 each; then charged me $6.00 for email delivery and a significant service charge a total of $239.23. While the site was very easy to use. I feel cheated by the mark up. I don't know if I will use your service again.
Very well. It was well I just need to know how to check order and see how much I paid for them. I want to see a receipt of my purchase and cannot seem to find it anywhere.
Purchasing tickets was easy enough. Pictures from inside the venue would be helpful in selecting tickets. As to why I would not recommend the site and avoid buying from it again has to do with the $24/ticket service fee and $7.50/ticket download ticket option. Just because other ticket sellers commit extortion that makes the mafia look like little sisters of the poor doesnt mean they have to.
Do NOT buy tickets from here. Worst customer service. Their website gave me the wrong order and they would not help me AT ALL! NEVER EVER BUY FROM THEM
Answer: In my case, they sent e-mail that the tickets would be forthcoming. When I failed to receive them the week before the concert, per e-mail download as promised, I called their #, the person on the other end told me that it was will-call at the box-office with the copy of the e-mail I needed to bring. The box office told me that as a 2nd line seller, they did not keep them there. When I called to ask why they did this to me and demanded re-imbursal, they sent the tickets per e-mail download THE DAY AFTER THE CONCERT. They tried to cover their tracks with the credit card company, the problem for them was that the time stamp of their sending the tickets reflected the day after the concert. So essentially, they are not even competent as rip-off artists.
Answer: So sorry to hear you have been conned by this outfit. Apparently sometimes they DO send valid tickets, so I hope you are one of the lucky ones. I suggest you tell your credit card company (by phone and IN WRITING) that you are disputing this charge. Also tell everyone you know to avoid this rip-off company. I know this doesnt help you now, but in the future buy tickets only from Ticketmaster (I've never had a problem with them). Good luck.
Answer: I couldn't even open the download so I called the number and all I got was an answering system to send email and I did but no reply from them so the next day a call about 50 times until I got someone. After getting transferred to 3 different people and waiting about an hour for the supervisor the guy told me no refunds are allowed but money is 100% guarantee if it doesn't work at the time of the event. So I'm praying to God they are good the event isn't until the end of November
Answer: They are scoundrels. I know where their office is and went by there recently. I am laying out a plan.
Answer: If you have already purchased your tickets from this outfit, good luck. They sent me tickets for a concert in Tennessee and I asked for and live in Florida. They said it was MY mistake and that I asked for TN. They supposedly tried to resell the tickets and couldn't so I was out $300.00 for two tickets. They have something like 130 complaints and are a scam outfit. Next time order elsewhere and good luck with these tickets.
Answer: I just cancelled my order because they never sent the tickets. At least you got yours so maybe they will be okay. I would call the arena where the event will be and ask them how many issues they have had with this company. I emailed five times and they always sent an automated response back. Then, when I was in a meeting at work they finally called and the number just read, "33333" when they called me. No return phone number... very strange. They left a message to call them so I did immediately after my meeting (15 minutes)... the automated system was up and did not allow me to speak with a person. Thus far, I have never spoken to a real person when I call their number. I disputed the purchase, got my money back and bought tickets for much less at StubHub. I was surprised because my last tickets at Stubhub were kind of expensive... but these tickets (McCartney) were not too crazy expensive. Anyway, best of luck, and I would make a back up plan.
Answer: You will get your tickets, but they will likely have someone else's name printed on them. Worst of all, they will most likely not be honored at the gate/box office. My advice is to get a refund NOW and buy tickets from a reputable outlet like Ticketmaster. City Online are thieves and scammers. See my review about James Taylor concert in Norfolk, Virginia.
Answer: Contact the venue, give them all the details on the tickets received and verify if U will be able to legitimately use the tickets, considering the issues with this company that are so overwhelming. My experience reviewing all the people who describe their issues with them is that even if the tickets are usable, the overpayment is so excessive that it would have been better dealing with the regular ticket outlet for the venue.
Answer: Yes Ann, you will get your tickets. You just over paid by a HUGE amount... but other then that, the company is legit. They are just robbers the way they do it... thats all. Have a good time and yes, at least now you learned a lesson (like all of us on this site);-)
