No more refunds for unseen quotes[i tried with a oneflare rep!] and quote prices went up by 1/2 as well as quote numbers, constantly getting leeds for more quotes required/6 quotes required and so on.
The original oneflare format of 40 quotes for $200 each month was a winner for my bussiness and ive gained many repeat loyal customers from then. Now oneflare is an expensive waste of time and money, Now spending the same money on SEO for much better results. Oneflare lost the plot and my support
Ive been using oneflare for the last 5 or so years[Houseguard Pest Management- you can check my reviews] Sometimes i have a good strike rate on quotes and other times i cant win a quote but at the end of the tally i come out in front and stick with them because it works for my bussiness
To be fair there are some flaws it some of their prices what things wiil cost are out of check on trades lead websites air tasker and seeking services are the worst cause they advertise ftom 25 dollars to sixty dollars for painters for example in reality 25 an hr aint even wages which is shonky and not realistic 35 hr is only just wages well which one flare advertises got some great client contacts out of it, however, its a hit and miss alot cause for all parties concerned cause there is dodgey trades on there, ladies house im painting has some dodgy gyprockers on there lady just got full riped off over 1,000 dollars by a shonky gyprocker and she really got pissed over that and i had to fix his work so beware people, and average is 1 in 10 quotes you will get and they do only want to give better deals for trades spending more than 200 a month on leads and your time and travelling all has to be facterd into your quote prices and they dont factor that when your competing people who advetise the unrealistic prices to get people in, then charge more in extras when they get the job on wages price like 25 an hour, i cant even get a labourers for that little alone tradesmen who can produce a finish product so leadsites have to be more realistic and fairer for all parties concerned sincerly chris nsw
I'm always happy to be associated with this organisation. They ensure that as a Celebrant business I get leads to jobs and they follow up with you regarding your experience.
Likewise as a customer - when I have posted jobs for myself personally such as pet grooming and/or plumbing etc - I have found quick efficient replies from very reputable businesses and always been very, very pleased with the responses. Recently we have employed a Garden Maintenance business on a regular basis as we were so impressed with their work.
If it wasn't for OneFlare I would never have known they were in our area!

Paying for leads that clearly have been given away already. When you make a phone call and advise them about it they say its a missed opportunity. When you havent even had the opportunity to quote is a bit harsh! After ringing one client they confirmed that they had notified of job awarded but Oneflare continued to advertise lead. Dodgy oneflare!

We rely on customers to update their job leads and unfortunately they do not always do so, I recommend that you always check how recently a job has been posted and how many businesses have quoted on a job before you choose to pay for a lead.

I have a pest control business, and have been on Oneflare for just over a year. Last year their platform was semi successful for me, as far as covering costs and trying to create repeat customers. This summer, so far has been a disaster. I haven't even recouped my increasing quote bid costs. Incase you didn't know, all businesses that submit a quote to you(up to six per job now) have to pay, in my industry, between $10 & &15 per job bid. This is how Oneflare generates income (as well as passing your data on). If I go out and perform a general pest treatment at a house that is both effective and legal, my costs will be around $110. I am now up against new operators charging $75. This cannot be effective or legal. Don't be sucked in by the cheapest option possible, in this industry, it can cause a lot more problems than it solves and lead to no end of legal issues.

A re-opened job request can receive up to 6 quotes and we make it very clear how many quotes a job has received before you have paid so you can pick and choose which quotes are best suited to your business. I needed to get my back yard sorted out properly and wasn't sure where to start so I listed my job on another platform that is used before but I wasn't happy. Then I tried Oneflare. I was contacted by Troy from Oakmont Landscaping and he very promptly came out to take a look. I needed a new retaining wall and new back boundary fence. He was confident, polite and professional. He sent me a quote as promised that afternoon and I discussed it with my husband and my neighbours. He was approachable, flexible, friendly and gave us a start date. They started our job and were such hard working strong reliable tradies. Our job was done exactly like we wanted and I enjoyed getting to know the team. We had a great rapport with the supervisor and she made sure everything went as planned. It was a labour intensive job as we had terrible access so it all got done by hand. Thank you Troy, Tracey, Matt & Tyrone at Oakmont and thank you Oneflare for without you we would have been still trying to get sorted so I could take delivery of my sauna.

A call to Oneflare is like a nice cool swept of air brushing off your sweat, one can choose and cast others away yet you don't feel any heat waving against another and that is Oneflare.
If you are involved in any industry and have some sort of basic level of customer service standards, stay away from this site.
As a removalist my experience involved paying for expensive leads and constantly receiving the frustrating news that the leads were unqualified (just looking for general prices and quotes) or extremely cheap customers that accepted quotes that would not even cover basic operating costs and wages.
If you have a business you're much better off using the money you waste on platforms like this to do your own online ads.

May I warn potential advertisers with Oneflare that these people do not represent your best interests.
I have found their leads to be generally unqualified and after I signed on as the only provider in my sector in my area they jacked the price per lead up significantly claiming that because I had signed on there had been a 100% increase in demand, hence the price rise. Oneflare have now cancelled my account balance to zero and are refusing to provide a statement of transactions which would enable me in formalising my complaint to the Office of Fair Trading.
Be very, very careful before you flush you advertising budget down the toilet of Oneflare.

I've taken a look into your account and can see that your lead pricing hasn't changed since the 14th of June when you first signed up and started quoting. Some leads in your particular category are more expensive than others by around $1 (1 credit) and this is because we have a dynamic pricing system that prices each lead based on their location, popularity, size, and many more factors. The great thing is, we show the price to quote beforehand so you can pick and choose if it's worth it to quote. There was about a month between when you quoted for the first time (first quote is free) and when you purchased your first credit pack so you had seen the pricing before you started using us more regularly.
All credit packs carry an expiry date, which you were notified of when you decided to purchase one. We send a reminder 10 days out from your expiry in case to encourage you to use them up. A few of your credits from that pack did expire as you weren't able to use them, but your account is still open and ready for you to use or access at any time. You can find any invoices in your Account Settings under your Billing tab if you'd like to download them. I'll send you a copy of your invoice and a password reset email in case you're having trouble accessing your account. Please reply and let me know if there's anything else you need, speak soon.
I had never hears if rhis site and of course with wedding planning was apprehence at first however I was very suprised and happy. I received at least 3 responses within 24hrs and all were very professional, great customer service and reasonably quoted. I ended up hiring Kerin & Joy celebrant sisters who have been amazing to deal with. I would definately recommend them and this site.
Fast response from businesses. Liked the links to click through to their websites and contact details easy to find. Once a business is picked it is easy to close off the job so no more quotes are necessary.
I was impressed by the fast response b local businesses, great idea that I would recommend to anyone trying to get fast quotes to complete urgent projects.

Oneflare made it surprisingly easy to get in contact with removalists, and followed up to make sure I'd found one I was happy with. Minimal input required but some results!

We created the credits system and the new plans as the vast majority of our businesses provided feedback that they needed more flexible ways to purchase job leads. Whilst we no longer refund unseen quotes automatically this refund system was replaced by a better system that allows featured businesses to request refunds for any customer that is completely unresponsive. Even if they have seen your quote.
