I ordered sofas and they was supposed to be delivered on 28th February but i got a email saying there has been a delay and i have to wait another 4 weeks for them to be delivered i am very disappointed as i have given my old sofas away and we are sitting on chairs.
I understand there are delays due to covid but 4 weeks delay is too much.
The only reason i ordered from oak furniture was because they said 4 weeks delivery where dfs had said 7 weeks.
I should have bought them from dfs if i had known oak furniture wil take 8 weeks to deliver.
Very un professional.

I brought a number of items including a nest of tables. One table split over the 8 months in my home. It was in a room with 8 other items from oak furnitureland. None of which have shown damage from the environment as suggested.
Customer service also suggested I had damaged it myself and that it was not a production issue.
Extremely poor service.
Appalling quality.
What I find difficult to understand is why a company this big doesn't just say, sorry, we'll send a replacement.
Instead I have to pay £48 for an expert, they recommended, to examine the product.
It's a joke.
I will never buy from them again. Never.
Massive mait of nearly 5 months and then no delivery no apology and a complimentary date change (6 weeks later) due to 'covid'. Customer service is absolutely dire, numerous phone call no answer after 30-60 minutes on the phone. I paid in full and if I am unable to cancel my order due to lack of customer service will send a letter of court action., (small claim). I have no confidence this will ever be delivered and if it is then look at the number of partial deliveries or damaged deliveries. Not a company to do business with anymore
We ordered a tv set, coffee table and glass cabinet on the 16th of October 2021 with the promise the delivery would arrive on the 7th of January 2022. This accumulate a price tag of approximately £1800. 1 week prior to delivery we received an email stating to delays in delivery an to rebook the delivery date. We booked for the 17th of Jan - again, we received an email 1 week beforehand claiming delivery delays and to re-book. We rebooked for 24th of Jan, and again just received the exact same email with the only available delivery date to be on the 23rd of Feb. Upon phoning the oak furniture land team, I as informed by an automated machine I was 22 in the queue! I want a refund now as I am sick of waiting but they force you to wait hours on the end of phone - I have a job and family to look after - waiting 3 hours with no answer is unacceptable! 3 things wrong with their service here: 1) we have paid for a product up to 3 months in advance, they have our money in their pockets to do what they like with it yet no product for show. 2) There is no email contact on the contact page to file complaints other than via the post or phone which takes massive delay 3) Surely holding money without any product should be mitigated as credit/interest/compensation. I would like a refund as soon as possible with no cancellation fees, this has been a very poor service from oak furniture land, considering the amount of money we have paid!
A history or poor service and quality. Ordered dining room furniture. Sideboard was damaged, had to be replaced. Table was incomplete (missing parts). Had to replace whole thing. Took weeks to be resolved. Ordered TV stand and Bookcase on 28th May 2021. Original delivery 3rd September. Delayed until November. Then delayed again until 6th January 2022. Just been told it's been delayed again until 28th January. Every time I have had reassurance the new date would be made, every time they've failed. I am beginning to wonder whether these items have even been built yet. As usual, they blame COVID, or Brexit, or the blockage in the Suez Canal. Worst of all, they advertise the very same items on their website currently with a delivery time of 7 weeks! Utter rubbish.
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY! They take your money then their after sales service is abysmal. Waited 8 weeks for delivery of furniture which was ok as this was agreed at order. What was not agreed was a damaged chair on delivery. When I complained I was told 13 weeks for a replacement just before Christmas. Confirmed by email mid December then an email two days later saying delayed. When I rang to get a date I was told mid January, asked to speak to a manager and was promised a call back the next day. No surprise that didn't happen. Eventually got through to someone after 50 minutes on hold and told 29th December. So the morning arrives and when the delivery team unpack it is a piece from a corner settee. You could not make this level of incompetence up for a comedy sketch it is so unbelievable! DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING THIS COMPANY SAYS AND WOULD ADVISE NOT TO BUY FROM THEM.
Ordered a dining table and 4 chairs 13/04/21. Was told delivery mid July, then told sorry it's going to be September. Then told sorry it's going to be November. Then believe it or not told expected delivery 01/02/22. Nearly a year after parting with nearly £900. Don't bother now waiting on a refund. Fingers crossed.!

Ordered a 3 seater and single leather chair start Oct after seeing advertisement Delivery Before Christmas, got email confirming delivery on 16.12.2021 between 08.00 am and 11.00 am, received phone call at 10.50 from O F L saying delivery driver had been in contact to say my items were not on lorry? LOL, WTF and would not be delivered until FEB 16TH? LOL, Tried to get through to the call centre at night for near an hour to get refund to my credit card as i dident have it with me when they called at 10.50 with no joy will have to try again in morning as i want a refund
Bad customer service, nothing has come on time and they dont resolve anything, im just told to wait again for over a month its a headache dealing with and honestly not worth it.
We ordered a wardrobe 4 weeks ago, and it took 3 weeks to arrive, and it arrived damaged. The damage was reported to them, and by email and through their website, also we tried to call them, but nobody answered for any of our problems.
Customer service is not responding. Now we have damaged furniture we cannot use. Shameful service. Never buy again. Avoid!
For the high cost, They have no stock, delivery dates are a joke and the service team are just taking the mick. If you can buy the products elsewhere it might be easier. The only one item we managed to get after an argument stated 'made in Vietnam' on the box. They do take the monies first, but do not intend to deliver the goods. I had to give them one star just to complete this review.
Absolutely disgusting service and support, ordered two sofas and stool, paid upfront in August, agreed a delivery over the quoted time to allow for the pandemic, even though all the adverts and websites say you can have it in 8 weeks, we are now at 15 weeks, two delays lots of apologies but no sofas, CEO you have work to do here, I'm sure trading standards may have an interest in mis-information and mis-selling, however we have cancelled the order and simply taken our business else where. I would suggest any one else who is thinking about ordering anything you aren't bothered when it turns up and be good at changing you circumstances quickly, maybe it would be good if Oak furniture land were clear on ordering so not to Mis lead anyone.
Bought furniture from this lot for delivery in November. Three days before delivery they e-mailed to say it was delayed until January. E-mailed them that wasn't acceptable and got a call to say they would try and re-schedule. Called back and re-scheduled for 22nd December. Just had another e-mail to say they cant deliver.
WOULD NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY WITH A BARGEPOLE. UTTERLY USELESS.
Original delivery date rescheduled to 9 weeks later. Tracked order - rescheduled date not showing. Order not even shipped 6 months after made. Item still being advertised in Black Friday "sale" at £25 more than we paid and allegedly on 6 week availability. What a joke!
The worst customer service ever. Impossible to get thru to by phone. Local store admits it takes over an hour for customer service to answer... I was sold a foot stool on top of a sofa, but sofa comes with free foot stooI. Email response- Pay £100 to return stool. Untrained staff member sold me something i did not need... Zero customer service by phone. Local store no help what so ever. They tell you to phone Customer services... who has time to wait over an hour to get through. Joke of a response to their error. Disgusting company... Avoid at all costs. Once they have your money they obviously don't care. Will be complaining to trading standards
Omg how I wish I'd visited this site before I purchased my 3 piece suite! Had my suite 2 weeks and leather on the seats of the chairs already stretched, also cushions on back of sofa have never lined up! Oak Furniture Land not interested say its acceptable quality! Am in the process of going down small claims procedure. DON'T TOUCH THEM WITH A BARGE POLE!

Three months ago I spent £700 on a bed only for the company to then cost me a further £1200 in lost earnings (I am self employed) as they proceeded to screw up my initial delivery date, and then only delivered half of the bed when they did eventually come. Since then I have told my story of woe to three different customer relations people AND twice in emails to the CEO himself.
I have been offered the risible amount of £100 in in-store vouchers, which I have politely refused. Never before have I been treated with such indifference.
Once they have your money they quite literally couldn't care less!
Very poor service from point of order being placed. Our order of four items now delayed twice with the excuse one or more of the items not being available for delivery. We have waited 6 (six) months now which is very unreasonable and puts Oak Furniture Land in the same poor service and delivery league as DFS. Disappointed Hull.
Bought a lovely looking sofa on Feb. The sofa is so soft my husband sinks way down and I don't even sit on it. It looks nice to look at but you cannot sit on it? Very poor value for £800 pounds. Will never buy sofa from this company again!
Answer: They won't last long. The store managers are terrified that the stores will close as people use the internet for OFL products. Naturally there will be more internet complaints so the company will struggle. Avoid, unless you have lots of time to waste.

Answer: Ikea customer service. Excellent. These clowns should be closed down. BBC watchdog should take up a story here..
