Having paid for express delivery surprise suprise it doesn't include unpacking, assembling the furniture or taking away the packing. To add to the misery there is a manufacturing fault in bookcase. Which is clearly visible and should not have got past quality control

By the way if you want the item unpacked that's another £25 on top of £39 for express delivery and £50for a 5 year guarantee. I don't think I will be buying anything else from Oakfurnitureland and I won't be recommending them.

Just had a new wardrobe delivered and it had two faults when we opened it up. Called customer services and because we had given my husbands name on the receipt for which we paid cash by the way they had the audacity to ask me to get my husband to give permission for me to speak to them about my complaint. Are oak furniture land living in the dark ages. I'm afraid I'm not the happiest person at the moment. Waiting for them to get back to me re the damaged wardrobe. I could have got three out of Ikea for the price of one and we still had to make it up ourself,!,

Service? What service?
February 27, 2019

Read below:
Our fantastic team works across 95 stores and counting, a vibrant head office in the heart of Wiltshire, bustling distribution centres, and countless delivery vans. We take care of every step in the process, from the design to the after sales care, to make sure it meets our high standards.

This is pure lies, customer care is an utter joke, they have lost one of the 2 sofas I ordered over 7 weeks ago. One has been delivered on the second attempt after they delivered entirely the wrong items over a week ago. Now waiting for another promised call which I know they will not make, back to me calling them for the 8th time. Piss poor service. Now lost 2 days off work for their incompetence, have been offered an insulting £50 compensation.
Walk away DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE, THEY WILL MESS IT UP.

Don't waste your money
February 24, 2019

I would like to start by saying the salesperson in the shop was great and very informative. Me and my wife walked into the shop by chance and the first table in the shop was the Hercules table and chairs. We fell in love with the table as soon as we saw it and agreed to buy it. We were surprised that delivery only took just over a week. Upon receiving the table my wife noticed that there was a strip off oak on the end of the table that looked grey and weathered so she called customer services only to be told that it was a natural colour variation. We then went back to the store were they agreed that it was in fact faulty due to the weathered look and to call back. I then called customer services to dispute this only to be told the same thing so I asked to speak to a manager. I explained to the manager that I am completely aware of natural oak and its colour variations as the rest of the table varies in colour however the weathered grey look of this strip Is not a natural colour variation. He kept repeating himself and he said i have 2 options keep the table or return it but it would cost me £50 as the table is not at fault. I am extremely disappointed with this FAULT as it ruins the whole appearance of the table and now it looks as tho I'm stuck with it what a waste of £1000 please do not waste your hard earned money

We purchased two leather sofas in may last year. In the store we were advised the sofas were dyed leather and so wouldn't peel like the sprayed leather from other well known stores. Within 6 months of purchase one has already started to peel. We have been offered a repair however now have no confidence in these sofas or oak furniture land. If this has happened within such a short period of time the likelihood of this being a continuing concern is very high. I would not recommend oak furniture land.

Worst company evere
January 22, 2019

I bought a 3 seater leather sofa in july and after 1 month the leather crack on the right arm. I bought insurance aswell and the insurance company say it's under 1 year manufactory warranty and they don't cover till this warranty expire. So i called oak furniture and starting the claim. They delayed till late oct saying is not theyr fault and all that bollocks. Finally they accept the claim and they told me i need to wait 8 weeks for the item to be delivered. After exactly 8 weeks the item arrived so now i had to wait another 2 weeks for someone to come and fix it. He just come today and told me they delivered wrong part. I call again oak furniture and they said i have to wait another 8 weeks for the item. Worst company ever.

I spent more that 2,000£ buying directly at the store on December 7th. The shop assistant at the shop was so pushy and beg us to buy at the shop and not online because we would have made your job useful and don't risk to be redundant. I have asked if I could have had a little discount due to the high amount spent there. They lady said they don't do any discounts. We arranged the delivery for January 2nd because they said they had lot of deliveries during Christmas period. On December 31st they called me saying they would have delayed the delivery to January 10th due to logistic problems. On January 10th the delivery arrived 2 hours late the agreed time without informing me. The products arrived damaged (2 chairs, tv cabinet, sideboard) with scratches and holes. The TV cabinet had a piece visibly re attached with glue. How is it possible they did that? Do they think that customers are stupid and don't note that the products are damaged! I have called the customer service 4 times asking for replacement and I had to wait 45 minutes on hold before they reply each time. Every time I phoned them there was a different problem (they could not see the pictures, they system didn't work, the agents are busy at the moment, etc!). In the end they said they will replace the damaged product on March 30th as this is the earliest date available. WE HAVE TO WAIT " MONTHS AND A HALF FOR THEIR FAULT! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND EMBARASSING PRICES FOR RUBBISH PRODUCTS and THEY ARE INCOMPETENT.
F... CK OFF!

Rude staff
January 17, 2019

I went with my partner to Oak furniture land at 3 milestone Truro. On entry a cocky member of staff called out "Alright. Looking for anything in particular". I joked a reply as he stood there with hands in pockets. We looked around the store and he then shouted out "What are you looking for". He was very unprofessional and put us off spending any money in there. So I replied " we are in the wrong shop". He didn't like my reply by the expression on his face. We later looked at the reviews and we are glad we didn't buy from this company. Having plonker like him puts anyone off.

Bought Montana sofa in dec 2018. Arrived on time and looking well, however they have changed the foam used in the cushions from a combination of firm and medium foam to soft foam. The sofa is very uncomfortable and not suitable for use with my family as my children have spinal problems and can not sit on the sofa. Customer services unwilling to do anything and don't seem to think it is a problem to change the grade of the cushion foam without telling the customer.

I have just taken delivery of a nest of tables and guess what one is damaged very badly, well that can happen in transit but the carry on trying to through to customer service and the hoops you have to go through to get a them to believe you. I had to take a photo of the damage and of the label under one of the tables and send it to them. I want a refund and I will never bye from this company again.

Not happy with Oakland furnitures as we requested our new sofas to be delivered on the 14th of December we got our first sofa on the 4th of January 2019 almost 4 weeks later and was not the sofa we ordered to be delivered and it came with the delivery legs and not the wooden rustic oak we requested. Our second sofa that we ordered to come on the 14th of December will not be with us till February. We ordered our furniture on the 26th of May 2018. Customer service is disappointing as they never kept in contact with us. My partner Simon spent hours chasing customer service and they never called us back on any on the occasion we spoke to them. Our free gift of a clock does not work and also 2 weeks no replay from customer service about new replacement they promised to us

I bought 2 no 2 seater sofas in march 2017. On delivery the back on one of them was snapped. So they took it away to be replaced. Said it would take 8 weeks. I told they I wasn't happy. I received a call saying they could deliver within 2 week. On delivery it was obvious that the sofa wasn't new but of a show room floor. It had several damages and dirt marks over it. Repair team came about 3 weeks later cleaned the sofa repaired a hole and ordered a new cushion and leg. This was just the start. Since then i have had the sofas replaced 5 times due to damages to them all on delivery. 4 visits by the repair team. The last delivery was on the 26 of November 2018. And yes the back was snapped on one of them. That they wanted to leave and send a repair team out within 1 week to 4 weeks I told them that this was not acceptable and to take it away. They then redelivered again on the 30 November 2018. And it was the same sofas and still the back was broken. I called them and asked them to get back to me on what they were going to do. I have not had any response from them from the 30 of November 2018. I have emailed them 5 times asking what they intend do and so far have had no reply from them. And it is know 03 January 2019 ps they advertise that there furniture and sofas are solid hardwood. They are not. THe sofas are pine and ply wood. Falls advertising as well. Do yourself a favour and don't buy from oak furniture land

Wished I'd looked at other reviews before buying.
Every section of this purchase was a disgrace.

AVOID OFL LIKE THE PLAGUE
December 21, 2018

PLEASE do not enter into any transactions with this sham of a company. I recently ordered over £2k bedroom furniture and got told the wrong information on dimensions by a new member of staff. When the delivery men arrived at my property they didn't even attempt to bring the furniture into my home and just said it won't fit. The delivery men had no template with them and the furniture was packaged completely different to how I was advised at the point of sale so how can I be responsiblefor ensuring it fits if I don't even know the dimensions including the packaging (that's on the assumption it didn't fit). They sneakily make you sign t&c's at the point of sale and say you've got 7 days to read it. In those terms you may be liable to pay 20-25% of cost price. As the delivery men said the furniture wouldn't fit they've taken £400 off me without so much as a letter explaining everything. Oh and they've overcharged me! They have the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The staff are not there to help customers at all. Their responsibility is to secure monies in a deceitful manner for the owners. They don't care once they've got your hard earned money. Please look at Doorway to Value instead who have been outstanding.
PLEASE AVOID OFL!

Do not ever buy from this deceiving store as they will delay your delivery and never show up!

It is such a poor customer service as they promised me to deliver my sofa, did not respect the time slot and did not come at all to deliver!

This is outrageous and I want to cancel my order. This store does not deliver during weekends which is outrageous especially when it is their fault! Do not ever buy from this deceiving store?!?

What is worse that the staff kept ignoring our calls which is horrible customer service.

I want my money back!

VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
What a incompetent company to deal with! Day of delivery was a no show even though we had email confirmation that they are running two hours behind. Have spent over two hours of my life on the phone to customer services in a queue and then passed from department to department, after all this i can only hope they may choose to grace me with a delivery. I LIVE IN HOPE.!

*DO NOT GET SUITE DELIVERY FROM OAK FURNITURE LAND*

Delivery date for a new £1400 suite set as 30th November (booked 3 weeks previous) and the driver turns up saying they dont have the suite on the wagon. He hands over a phone and asks to speak with Parveen from customer services. She says the next delivery date is 13th December! Shocking seeing as the suite is ready to go from the warehouse. I contest but she says all she can do is email the Allocation Team. I chased it up 4 times across 6 hours, and herself and Charlie both explained that all they can do is email. After asking for manegers and complaints team, apparently no one was available! Again, laughable.

Apparently you can only email the Complaints team and not phone them?! And they take 3 days to reply! So for the next few days i'll be spamming there phones and emails as there is no other way of getting to them, because they clearly are not bothered about late delivery or no shows. I'll be expecting some compensation for me having time off work to wait for the delivery and also having to postpone other work on the house.

For a so called 'now global' company, they're customer services and complaints team are shockingly bad.
