The reason I gave 2 stars is the fast delivery and the products are not the worst. But the prices are exorbitant. Nuts.com website has only 5 star reviews, probably used friends or a special program
Half the order was bad all stuck together when I called them and told them what happened they said throw them away and we will give you a credit on your account well when I went on the website to sign in guess what I didn't have an account no longer
They have interesting products but the chocolate isn't that great. Super fast shipping. Items are pricey and (for me) they didn't stand behind their product when it arrived broken and crumbled. Probably won't order again.
I got these for the first time for my husband for Christmas. It wasn't cheap so I definitely expected more. They had a yummy candy coating but inside that coating were rancid almonds. Not impressed and will not be ordering more.
Glad we tested this out before sending as gifts. The sugar roasted peanuts were wet, yes wet. And chewy. Yuck. The Bourbon pecans and Bourbon Street mix was stale, not crunchy at all. There was another snack mix, not labeled on box, that was stale and chewy. I did contact the company and was given a credit. We reordered coffee with it. Will not send this product as gifts. How embarrassing it would be if recipient had same experience we did.
I couldn't find a way to leave a review on the website so I'm going to do this instead. The nuts haven't arrived yet so I don't know what condition they're in but I want to complain about receiving their promotional and junk email. I'm getting something everyday even though I intentionally opted out of receiving emails from them. Why do they bother to put the box to uncheck if they're going to send the junk email anyway?
We've gotten Nuts.com gift twice. This year and last. Both times nuts were tasteless and odd. If there was someone out there making fake nuts...I would say Nuts.com is the company. No taste. If you closed your eyes and ate 4 different nuts you wouldn't know which was which. Bad. All the way around. How do they do that?!
After the TV ad on NUTS.COM I ordered. I was so pleased with the ease and quality, I ordered and can't wait for tomorrow's delivery.
First time ordering from this company. Shipping was free and very fast.I'm in love with this company. I do a lot of baking and making candy this time of year. Their products are amazing. The smell of the chocolate when you open the bags, yum. I will definitely order bulk from them again. So glad I found this company.
I placed an order on this site to send my boss a gift. Their order form asked for the RECIPIENT's Email. Naturally I figured this was for delivery information. I entered his email and continued my order. After I completed the order, I was informed THE CONFIRMATION WOULD BE SENT TO MY BOSS's EMAIL! WHAT?! Why would you confirm a GIFT order to the person it is GOING TO?!
I immediately hopped onto their chat and asked them to stop the email or recall it. They said all they can do is resend it.
Look, I do not judge a company by its mistakes. I judge a company by how they CORRECT their mistakes. Nuts.com offered NOTHING to make this right. I cancelled BOTH of my orders and sent my bosses gift baskets from Harry & David. It's worth spending $10 more to get good service.
We placed a big order. Got bad nuts. They would only give store credit. Not really the greatest CS. But I guess in this day and age and with all the covid excuses what should I expect? Bad deal if you asked me!
I ordered a 5 lb bag of roasted Virginia peanuts, from nuts.com. Delivery was fine. But The peanuts were rancid and totally inedible. I would not recommend these peanuts to anyone!
I decided to order some things for Christmas Dinner - before and after. The package came a day early! How's that for service! I have enough to last through New Year's -- and, hopefully, after, so I can indulge myself to my nutty delight! Wonderful people to deal with ---- love the humor --- just like my Irish family! Fudge tasted like keto. All the items we tried were terrible. To return items theyare you pay shipping. Buy your items from a grocery store they will taste better.
I ordered and received my order of Taro Root Powder from Nuts.com and was mystified when I read the ingredients list to find NO TARO ROOT. I contacted Nuts.com and they told me it was included in the "Natural and artificial flavors" ingredient. I found that fishy so I pressed further and they confirmed that there is indeed NO Taro Root in this TARO ROOT POWDER.
It smells like irish cream but taste like plain coffee with a menthol after taste. I would not recommend this.
I've been shopping with Nuts.com for a few years now, and mostly, I like them. Their products are always as advertised, fresh, and tasty. Shipping is generally fast and reliable (they tend to use FedEx). Prices are a tad higher than some other places, but the freshness and speed of delivery make it worthwhile. Customer support staff are friendly, and usually very responsive.
A couple of caveats keep them from quite being a 5-star enterprise in my book. For one, there doesn't seem to be any easy way to review products sold on their website (which is why I'm reviewing here). There are reviews there, but none of their staff has ever been able to explain to me how I can post a review there, so I have to take their reviews with a grain of salt.
One other minor issue is that not all of their website features work. Supposedly there is a way to designate "favorite" products, so that it's easy to reorder them. It says this on the website. But again, I've never been able to make this feature work, nor have any of their customer support team been able to get it to work for me.
But, other than that, a good, reliable supplier for good, fresh nuts and related products. I will continue to shop there, and hope they fix their website features, eventually.
I have bought alot of your roasted pecans, but the last 5lbs tasted not fresh, will probably try one more 5lbs again,. Only because they are usually the best. Have you'd alot of people to buy your nuts.
It's worthless, it tastes nasty, and I don't recommend it to anyone, you are going to waste your money.
I have been ordering from this site for a few years at first, they were fantastic. VERY fresh nuts, super high quality. Yes, you paid a premium price for that, but you received a superior product. I don't know what changed, but for the last two years, the nuts have been terrible. Not even remotely fresh, and in the case of cashews, completely without flavor. I can buy a can or jar of planters peanuts from any local grocery store and get a fresher smelling/tasting product, and there is no ridiculous shipping charge. Imho, the biggest problem with nuts.com is that they store the nuts in non vacuum sealed plastic bags, flee we which, from the lack of fresh smell and taste, seems to be the culprit of the lack of freshness. I have decided that I will no longer ever buy nuts from any source that are not vacuum packed. Such a simple solution, yet not followed in practice out of pure greed. If you are trying to sell a perceived "premium" product, yet you do nothing to ensure the product is truly premium, you deserve, no, you NEED to fail spectacularly.
