Uber, good!
Very Pleased with the time it takes to submit and review.
I have purchased 2 numbers from numberbarn to be ported away. The whole process went on very smoothly and both numbers were ported out without any hassle. There was no customer service assistance over the phone, but the responses to my emails were prompt and to the point. I highly recommend numberbarn.
Hi Soheil, We're absolutely thrilled to hear about your great experience! Thank you so much for sharing.
New, but so far great service and customer support with fast email responses! Porting of my number was super fast and easy! Unlike my old port and forward service, this one has a call log which I appreciate and use. Thanks!
Hi David, thank you so much for taking the time to post about your NumberBarn experience. We love it when numbers port quickly and the services we offer (like call logs) solve real customer needs!
NumberBarn is an excellent company! They provide a great selection of Toll-Free Numbers at a ridiculously low price. I have purchased several Vanity Toll-Free numbers.
Hi Josh, We're so glad to hear that you found a great toll-free number at a great price. Thank you so much for the great review.
I have used numberbarn.com for years to procure vanity and easy to remember telephone numbers for businesses. Their process is simple and the price-point is better than I have found elsewhere. I also have a few numbers that I have parked on numberbarn.
I recently had an issue where the debit card that I had saved to pay the monthly charges expired. Because the monthly fee is minimal ($2/mth to park a number), I hadn't noticed that the fees had not went through. When I logged on because I was going to sell one of the parked numbers, the system said that my account had been suspended for non-payment. I reached out to their customer service to see if there was anything that could be done, as the card had expired months prior. To my surprise, I received a same-day response from Justin in their customer service department. He not only got my numbers back for me, he waived some of the fees that I had not even asked to be waived because he "understood that sometimes things like this happen." The fact that an online company still values custumers and tries to exceed expectations is rare, in my experience. I liked numberbarn before that snafu happened; I wouldn't hesitate to recommend numberbarn to anyone after it based on their A+ customer service!
Hi Terry, Thank you so much for sharing your experience. We're so glad that Justin was able to take great care of you!
Technical issues from the beginning made it impossible to port a number from them to a new phone. The email support exists, but they are not able to troubleshoot. Rather, they just provide the same information that is already on the website repeatedly. It might seem like a good deal to get a $10 number, but it might cost you hundreds of dollars in time lost trying to get it to work.
Hi Max, thank you for taking the time to provide feedback about our service. Yes, it's true that we don't currently offer phone support but it's definitely our goal to provide excellent email support. It sounds like we haven't delivered in this case. If there's anything still outstanding that you need assistance with, please reach back out to our support team and put "Attention: Jeremy" in the subject line and we'll be sure this is addressed right away.
Their service is excellent!
I couldn't believe by paying $10 and a call to my cell phone provider, I can have an excellent phone number with the same plan, device, and even sim card!
Although they don't provide a phone number for customer service, their communication by email is perfect: quick response, comprehensive and detailed. I strongly recommend it.
This is terrific news, Amanda. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful review!
Beyond happy with this company, bought a phone number on 4/19. Emailed customer support to clarify a few questions I had on 4/20, got the info that I needed and ported. My phone with the new number was active in less than 15 minutes. Absolutely no hassle.
Hey Eric, thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're so thrilled to hear that it was a good one! Please reach out to our support team if we can ever be of service to you.
I have ported 3 numbers over including a business line. No issues ever and is a great value, much better than Google Voice in my opinion.
It's so great to hear that our service is working well for you! Thank you so much for posting this review.
I had an excellent experience with NumberBarn. Initially their website wasn't working properly, but they immediately responded to my customer service inquiries, fixed the issue, and allowed me to complete my transaction. I recommend NumberBarn!
Hi Joshua,
It was certainly a pleasure to work through this issue with you and I'm so glad you got the awesome number you wanted. Thanks for the terrific review!
~Jeremy
I wrote a negative review about the difficulty porting out a number I purchased from Numberbarn despite following the site's instructions. They kept denying the port out request from my new telephone provider.
There was no way to contact NumberBarn customer service through phone or email. I could only IM through Facebook.
After posting a negative review here on SiteJabber, I received an email from a NumberBarn rep, and they helped me get my number ported out.
To be fair, once they contacted me (prompted by my negative review?), they were very responsive and courteous.
I guess all's well that ends well. And Numberbarn worked out fine in the end. But I can't say that the process was entirely easy or seamless in my experience.
Hi Vin, I'm so sorry that this has been your experience, and want to help change this. While errors do happen on occasion, we've ported many numbers to and from Verizon. I'm confident that we can work together to port your number as well. Jeremy, our Director of Support has reached out to you directly and looks forward to working with you to get this resolved. I know how important your number is to you!
Nothing was smooth, they destroy you in charges not discussed in the porting. Nothing is selling and they made it sound like they are advertising like crazy when in fact they are not putting in any effort so they can continue to rob you with all kinds of charges. They absolutely will not take a phone call and says it saves us money. I am stuck paying hundreds a month for nothing.
Hi Larry, I'm sorry to hear about this experience but believe that our customer support team was able to work through these concerns with you since the time you posted this review. I've sent you a private message and hope you'll contact me back if there's anything else we can do to help.
Everything went smooth with numberbarn, the porting probably would have went faster, but I had to call att on the 8th day and then they ported it.
I have been trying to port my numbers over to Number barn for over a month with no success. They will no give you a phone number to actually contact them. They are a total waste of any bodies time. GO somewhere else
After a day of surfing on thousands of 212 numbers and reading instructions on how to properly port a number, I decided to bite the bullet and bought a number set to port away. Filled all needed information to create an account, paid the number. I was welcomed with a message saying it will take at least 2 hours to process. I kept replacing the page every 10 minutes, and after 30 minutes, it says process successful and I own the number. Checked porting information and got all the info I need. Called my mobile provider and told her my request, after the support specialist told me that she just pressed the submit button for porting, it literally gave us 2 minutes to talk and suddenly call got cut off. Turned off my phone, waited for 5 minutes, and turned back on - new number already ported. Tested incoming/outgoing calls - works. Tested text messaging - works. No issues.
For those people that had issues porting out their numbers, the issue was yours. Providing wrong account number and PIN are usually the culprits of unsuccessful porting process.
NumerBarn is a waste of time I spent money and lots of time trying to port my number from NumberBarn to my Xfinity carrier. I paid for a service I did not get that service and I hear of many other people that have the same issue. I'm In the process now of trying to get my refund back.
Started porting my number on 12/21, port was completed on 1/3. Included Christmas and New Year holidays.
Found this company by doing my own research on the internet. Wanted to port my Home number so i could move forward and cancel my phone and services from Charter here in Massachusetts. NumberBarn employees were wonderful to work with all by e-mail-but they respond really quickly- in a true timely manner-even late at night for those of us here on the East Coast lol-Great! My problem was with Charter- I waited too long to request the port of my number (please give this great company: NumberBarn enough time to do the process). Be sure to read NumberBarn's directions for porting your number in from your current provider; send them a copy of your LAST bill with all the account, name, address etc. Charter is a bear: if one letter or one zip code number is off-they won't make porting easy. If i didn't cancel Charter that day-they were going to charge me another $$$$ billing cycle. Charter-so bad. Would absolutely use this porting/parking service again-and have told others about it! Thanks for all your help! Happy Massachusetts customer
Wife and I are moving out of state and wanted new local area code phone numbers for our cell phones. But I wanted the ability to pick my phone number. I wanted both of our numbers to be similar and easy to remember. For $26 each, I got some really nice phone numbers. It took and bit of time to port them over, about 3 to 5 days (one was over a weekend). But NumberBarn was great with e-mail communications and the whole process went very smoothly. I would not hesitate to use them again. Thanks NumberBarn.
We're stoked that you and your wife both found similar and easy to remember phone numbers here with us at the Barn. Now if only moving out of state could be that simple :)
I had a difficult porting in situation that could not be resolved by TMobile or ATT. Number Barn figured out the problem and found a solution within 3 days and the number transferred over within 5 days. Customer service was very responsive and helpful. Service has been very reliable.
YAY! Happy to hear about your porting experience, Robert. We were delighted to have helped you through the process.
Answer: Hi, Oswaldo! Our service does allow you to port a number to and from a mobile provider of your choice. The rate center of the number must be supported by each carrier, however. You can also forward your number with NumberBarn to an outside cell phone number.
Answer: Hi Damian, great question! Yes, once porting to NumberBarn is 100% complete, you can definitely cancel your service with your provider. Just make sure there aren't any additional telephone numbers or services on that plan that are important to you. Also, just keep in mind that if you have a contract coming up soon to port well in advance of that contract expiration. Porting is usually pretty quick but it's best to allow 3-10 business days just to be safe. Let me know if you have other questions. You can reach our support team and find other solutions at https://help.numberbarn.com/hc/en-us.
Answer: Hey Ephraim, thank you for your question. In general, porting each way can take 3-10 business days because we're moving the number from wireless status to wireline and then back to wireless. Practically speaking, the whole process could take as little as a few days if everything works totally smoothly. Answer: Hi Michael, thank you for your question. We actually only have access to United States and Canada numbers but we are able to forward calls to Nigeria numbers. You can see our international forwarding rates here: https://www.numberbarn.com/international-rates Let me know if you have any further questions.
Answer: Hi Thanh. If you are having trouble logging into your NumberBarn account, please reach out to our support team via email to [email protected] or through our help center: https://help.numberbarn.com/hc/en-us
Answer: Hi Olga! Yes, so long as we can support the rate center of your Canadian number, yes, you can port it to us and answer calls on your new Australian number. Please check here to verify we can support your Canadian number: https://www.numberbarn.com/basket?step=lnp
Answer: Hi Jackie! We're noticing this option is not showing up on some customer's accounts. Please reach out to us via [email protected] for assistance in changing your plan.
Answer: Hi Laura, absolutely! So long as your number is active, you can take it to any supporting provider :)
Answer: The guarantee is this, Steve, keep your number active and pay your bill each month. So long as that happens, your number will remain yours.
Answer: Hi Steve! Great question - so long as your number remains active with your Canadian provider throughout the entire transfer to us, the number would stay with you :)
