Tracking my shipment was frustrating.

The shipping notifications were not up to date & when my order took over 20 days to arrive, I was concerned it was lost. NBG never responded to my inquiries on the package. Not a great experience.

Ordered December 11,2023 and received them January 9,2023, item was delayed due to the extreme weather before Christmas. Found out the head office is in BC and the warehouses are over seas. I ordered the black softshell lined size 10 tall ladies, which fit me perfect (5'9 & 140 lbs)
Just received, so not sure on performance outside during a cold spell.

I'm pleased with the quality of the purchased item. The shipping was a bit slow, but most likely because of the recent holiday season and it came a long way - from China! Northbound Gear is a bit clandestine because it promote itself as a Canadian company but instead it ships directly from Asia.

I was very happy to receive my pants, unfortunately they did not fit.
The hips were to big, the length was perfect and the waist was perfect.
I sent them back and I am waiting for a message to tell me you received them.

Bought Apex Waterproof jacket. Very nice product. Actually too warm outside to use it so far in this weird winter in New England. I do have an issue with the tracking numbers on shipments with both this purchase and a previous one. I live in the US, so any product I get from Northbound is imported and must go through customs. The US Postal Service tracking that Northbound includes when the product ships is never accurate- USPS will indicate that the tracking number cannot be found in their system. My purchase took almost 3 weeks to get here. The good news is that the Northbound customer service team is very responsive and can identify where your purchase is in the shipment cycle, which was very helpful.

I love my Northbound Gear fleece-lined pants but I do find them a few cm too long for my size 10,5'5"frame.

Excellent customer experience so far. This is my second purchase. The first one I was a bit skeptical buying from mere ad in Facebook and the opposite side of the globe. Not all my online buying had been pleasant. Having received the products this week (in nick of time too) I am happy to say my fears are allayed, hence this second purchase. The first one I am exchanging due to incorrect size (on my part), this is still being processed but I am happy to proceed with this due to my experience so far with the company which has been great (after purchase information, tracking etc).
Well done NorthboundGear team. You put the fashion back into trekking. I will be showing this to my wife and our friends next.

Had hoped to get the shipment sooner but Christmas is a busy time.

I had a delivery issue during the holidays when I reached out directly I never received a response. The item finally arrived and I was very happy with it but disappointed in the lack of communication when I had a problem.

First time buyer, fits well, looks like good quality! Didn't arrive on time though!

Although my order was originally lost and arrived many weeks late, I gradually receied my original order with follow up from the company with apologies. The pants are an excellent quality.

Ordered these as a Christmas gift- quality is superb!

Item did not arrive by Christmas. I did not realize it was being shipped from Shanghai. In the future, I would order well in advance. Product appears to be high quality

To date, an excellent pant for walking - warm, dry and wind proof.
