I won't shop Nordstrom Rack online again. I've spent thousands with NR the past few years but I had to fight them for 2-3 months on past 2 orders to get my promised refunds.
If you do shop be SURE you document the heck out of any returns!
2 days & my order is at my front door. Free shipping too! Free! Had to pick up some winter jackets - heading to Finland. They've got the hugest selection of coats. So easy to shop, they've got multi views of their product, sometimes a video too. Ended up getting three coats & a few boots too. Man, great discounted prices on quality brands.
Nordstrom rocks!
I placed an order and then got notified that it was being delivered to my door. I get home and there's nothing. Called Nordstrom Rack and they said I'd get it the following day. It never happened. I called again and they said they'd have an UPS person on the line to clear the issue. All I got told was that UPS would open an investigation and it would take a few days. However, immediately after the call, I got an email from Nordstrom Rack saying that my return request had been approved and I'd get refunded. I cringed! I never asked for a return or cancelation! No apologies, no explanation whatsoever! I really feel I got tricked as they must have sold my items to someone else and made a fool of me. If you are considering buying from these folks, good luck. I've normally had a really good experience with them but the poor customer care service this time really annoyed and disappointed me. Never again. And I wish I could have given them a zero star in this review!
If you purchase a christmas gift for someone, make sure you will be able to give it to them within the 45 day return policy. They will take 50% off the price and also charge for shipping or not take it back at all. No exceptions for christmas gifts. The rack is not my store for holiday gifts.
I ordered something from Nordstorm Rack, as a gift (was sending to somebody else in a different states residence) then a day later I came on here and seen all the bad reviews so I decided to try to cancel before it ships out (beware it does say to cancel within two hours)
I see all these comments saying they got the wrong thing, or didn't get a shipment (email notification too)
I just called them, was patient with them through a period of maybe 7-10 minutes, was told I'll get a cancellation email within 24-48 hours.
Got the email & refund to my bank by the next morning
I personally was satisfied with the customer service.

Don't get upset with it too fast, just be cooperative and patient with them and try to cancel within the next day because that's what I did.
TERRIBLE BUSINESS! Ordered a very expensive item, received confirmation email, received a shipping confirmation. The arrival date came and went and then I could no longer track the package. It never arrived and I had no answers. I spent an hour and a half on the phone and eventually got a refund. I didn't want a refund. I wanted the product they said they had available that I paid for. It was a scam I was a "one day sale". The item is no longer on their website. They took my money and if I wouldn't have spent an hour and a half on the phone yelling at someone I would have never gotten any money back and no package. DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE SCAM ARTISTS!
I bought 2 tops online from Nordstrom Rack. Nordstrom itself has beautiful clothing and shoes, I never thought the rack would be any less, maybe older merchandise. I was warned that the tops might bleed and to wash in cold which I did on delicate. Dont know what went on the washer but they seemed ok when I removed them. Then I noticed a white bra worn with the light gray top, was now gray all over and I chalked it up to the art studio where I volunteer. I thought I must have been sweating a lot which was possible in a hot kiln room. Yesterday I hand washed the same gray top in cold water, rinsing it thru my hands and the water turned dark gray. The second rinse was much the same color so I air dried it and noticed this morning, white patches in the thin gray material, where there had been color. The brand purchased is Susina. Tried to find out who mfg. Is with no luck and no luck with country of origin either. I've also noticed that Sitejabber is on top of the rack and it's the first time I've ever seen the number of poor reviews close to matching the OK reviews. I'm going to try to return this and get my money back. Wish me luck
Nordstrom Rack has bad employees those responsible about the orders by online.
They have control about customers orders
They can cancel any order and transfer for another customer has deal with them ( under table) and that only with clearance when the big brands to be offer with cheap price. THIS IMPORTANT NOTE FOR ALL MANAGERS AND HIGH OFFICIAL in Nordstrom Rack.
Very bad company, it's like fraud or scams
My issue complaint is Nordstrom Rack's Online ordering requirement with gift cards. I disagree with being forced to enter my bank or credit card information when I had a gift card with an amount clearly over the purse purchase I attempted to make. My gift card was $95.00. I attempted to order a purse, online, with was $78.00. The online form wouldn't let me. I chatted with an online agent who stated I must submit either a bank account number or credit card. I disagree, this was unacceptable. Nordstrom Rack LOST a sale on this purse. I found exact same purse on Poshmark at a cheaper price! I will NOT refer anyone to this Nordstrom Rack website... forcing possible customers to submit financial information which is not needed.
I order a coat it takes forever for shipping. I received the item. It was the wrong size and brand. I order again they have great deals. Now says my package is delivered look up tracking number UPS says not today maybe tomorrow. I'm done with Nordstrom R A C K
I was notified of a delay, when I responded 3 hours later that I did not want the order I was told I was "too late" to cancel. 8 enormous boxes arrived, I was given one return label and Customer Service was unable to have them picked up. 8 trips to the PO and return shipping at my expense. Shocking considering how customer oriented Nordstrom is. Completely unmanageable and inconsiderate.
Horrible customer service. Waits several business days after you order to ship your items, and takes FOREVER to arrive. Seriously, why bother.
Also, had an issue where they cancelled an entire 8 item ($400+) for no reason after it shipped.
There are so many other places to shop online.
Order took over 2 weeks to ship to me. (while it states on website 1 - 3 days) I received multiple emails - you will receive your order tomorrow, only to receive another with a further date. In today's logistics world, to have to wait so long is quite a joke. My business trip has come and gone, and I'm still waiting for my shirts...
Company refused to deliver product to a 100%disablec vet because an unidentifiec person in my family returned products, not me. Their customer service reps are horrible. When I brought up the Americans with disabilities act they hung up
I have always been pleased with purchases I have made from Nordstrom Rack online. My items always came in a timely manner, correctly filled, etc. I'm not sure what has happened with this company but it seems by the other reviews that things are going south quickly as far as their customer service and reliability. I ordered 2 pairs of booties one week ago. One for myself and a pair for my 8 year old daughter. 2 days after placing the order, I received an email that the order for my pair could not be filled due to a shortage. Immediately I went online and it was still showing there were shoes available in my size and color. It did not even have "only 2 left" or anything of that nature. I called customer service and she couldn't even find the item in her system at all so they refunded me for those shoes and for shipping. Here we are one week later and I still have not received a shipping confirmation for my daughter's shoes. I called customer service and was told that there was no information available and that I would not be receiving this shoes either and that they would issue a refund. Were you going to send me an email to notify me or just keep my money and hope I don't notice you didn't send the shoes?! THEN, I receive my refund email and it says that "my return has been approved". I'm sorry, WHAT?! Get it right people, I didn't return or cancel any order, your representative told me it COULDN'T be filled. This is ridiculous, Nordstrom. Get your act together. You have lost my trust and I won't be placing any more online orders for you. Rest assured I will be sharing my experience with all of my friends, family and on every forum there is.
Within the last month, Nordstromrack.com delivered items other than what I've ordered TWICE! The wrong items are totally irrelevant (ordered jeans got a tank, ordered scarf got pants, etc.) to what I ordered! The weird thing is the transparent plastic bag holding the item still has name label of the correct item on it. The same thing happened a couple of times during past years, and I found the items I ordered and replaced mysteriously by something else have some common traits, they are name brands, they are sought-after hot items offered at deep discount price! I was just lucky enough to grab them as "1 item left".
All these makes me highly suspect it was someone replaced/stole the item I ordered when they were handling my order for whatever dark purposes they had! When employees value honesty low, we can easily see a highly raised red flag for the management! And I don't believe rack has the same management team as nordstrom.
There is always canceled orders on the side of Nordstorm Rack. You order the item, they accept it and you pay for it, but after a few days, they cancel some items in the list. It gives me a headache when they do this. So I prefer to go somewhere else and make sure that I receive the full pack of my order instead.
Be aware that even if you order staff you paid, Nordstrom rack will still not fulfill your order and in couple days they will cancel not just one but two items from your order!
Not sure how they did not know they do. It have the item if it's listed, special whit their
Item on hold or sold out label during sale.
That's happen if past and I was ok, disappeared but well can happened. But if this a pattern for this company because it's happened again I have to warn other costumers!
Shopping on Nordstrom rack is not safe!
Nordstrom is the best retailer in the US for product, service and customer service. Nordstrom Rack has few if any of the admirable features of Nordstrom and shouldn't even bear the Nordstrom name. Several years ago I had a pair of shoes at Nordstrom that after a year, the whole sole came unglued. Nordstrom replaced them with no questions asked. Recently, I bought a belt from Nordstrom Rack. Inless than three months, the belt had a mechanical failure. Normal channels failed to get any satisfaction. I had to end up calling NR where I got an RMA after paying a fee for outside the 45 day window. CHEAP! Will not be returning to NR anytime soon.
Bought hoodie I later returned. It cost 3/4 of the price of the item to return it. No explanation given. Had receipt in package. Do not order from this company. The product had a poor description on website. Call's itself "HauteLook" with refund. Should call itself CrappyClothes.
