The quality of the items is good. Unfortunately, the quality of the customer service is not. One item from my order was cancelled by Next without any notification. The rest of the order has arrived 2 weeks later after the initial delivery date. There is no refund for the missing item, the customer support team is acting like there is no problem since the package has been delivered. I've tried communicating with them both via chat and complaints, no luck so far. Never buying from them again.
I liked buying clothes from next direct. The quality of the clothes is great and they have amazing designs.

I ordered some clothes for my cousin's daughter. It is accurate and exact as shown on the site. My cousin was happy with it.
So made a big purchase in the right sizes according to their measurements and age. But majority of clothes were far too small and short for my kids (dont have that problem with au sizes). Paid $10 delivery fees for three purchases because stock had not arrived yet. Thats $30 for delivery only. Then sent back half back because they didnt fit well and got charged about $18 for returning them. One item sent was faulty and couldnt get hold of the customer service only to realise the number was put down wrong. Chat group is only for basic inquiries and told me I will receive a call (which i did and missed in the middle of the night). Finally managed to get hold of them and was offered a tachy 20% off of the pack which didn't even cover the cost of the missing item. Then refunded me the price of the one missing item. After all that headache and extra costs not sure if I want to order again.
At first I wasnt sure about this site but I gave it a go and I wasnt dissappointed... ordered last Friday and I received it yesterday on a Friday, (5 working days) awesome
Thanks NextDirect,,, I love my jersey and size 16 leggings! We don't get size 16 leggings in NZ, so this is extra... can't wait to order some more clothing from you again!

From a persogal point of view, on my purchase of lightvweight coral cardi, I would have preferred a flat type button òver a shank type.

Bought the naughts and crosses board with its pieces in gold pretty to look at. It came with 8 pieces instead of 9. Rang them to tell them they informed me that is how it's sent and nothing is missing. As an ornament or even played as a game the board should have all the pieces not one missing. I find this odd and they weren't willing to supply an extra piece. The marble board isn't marble and no felt underneath.
I have made numerous purchases on Nextdirect in the last 2 years (18 orders to be exact). Shipping- received my goods in Mpumalanga 4-5working days after payment. Quality- Better and equal to woolies with nicer range (kids clothing). Customer service- approached twice on chat service offered. Able to help fully and was efficient. Note- online purchase should be more than R400 to qualify for free shipping but not more than R500 or it will be held up in customs. I definitely will continue to use this site!
Ordered a package 5 months ago and didn't received it! Customer support didn't helped at all and just moved from one department to another.
Very quick to take payment but goods not delivered on time, no feedback or communication on emails, live chat. Have spent ages on hold on call Centre. Still no luck and no feedback.
This is my first time shopping through next I wanted to buy a lot of stuff but I preferred to try one product at first to figure out the service, after receiving my shipment I can say it's Excellent service, parcel as described, shipped in 5 working days as promised.

Approximately two years ago, I discovered Next Direct. It was a God send because I am living in The Netherlands and rarely find good quality work wear in my size and price range. Since that time, I have purchased dresses, suits, shoes and accessories several times. In general, the packages were delivered within two working days by DHL, though sometimes it took longer. What was always provided without fail was tracking info for the delivery times and dates. That has changed since Next opted to use DPD for deliveries to The Netherlands. DPD does not issue its tracking numbers and does not give next business day delivery. The customer service cannot give straight answers and always blames its blunders on Next Direct. Because I have also had bad experiences with DPD on other deliveries for other companies, I have good reason to think that this deteriorated service is directly linked to DPD. There is no option to use DHL. Next has simply made a business decision and we as customers are stuck with it. From now on, expect delays with no notice. My package languished for over 8 days because I was waiting for tracking information only to learn that DPD was waiting for the street number (which is clearly in my shipping address info). But DPD never let me or Next know they were waiting for it. Instead my package sat in the DOD dépôt all that time.
I recently ordered 8 items of clothing from Next Direct site and was shocked by the poor quality of the clothing. I am a regular customer of Next and have always found quality and service excellent. I was so disappointed and shocked this time as the quality was unbelievably poor more like Boohoo than Next. The fabric of the knitted items in particular was flimsy almost see through. Two of the items I ordered were over 50 euro were of acceptable quality but the cheaper items were unacceptable. DO NOT PURCHASE THE CHEAPER ITEMS JUST TAKE A TRIP TO PENNEYS INSTEAD. Will return all on my next trip to Next store.
I was shocked when I received a sms that I could collect my parcel just three days after placing my order! I was even more pleased when both items I purchsase were more than I expected. Great quality and just perfect!
This is one of my favorite places to shop. Quick shipping, always on time, never had a single disappointment with the ordered articles. I always see what's out of stock while shopping, so no bad surprises at the end of the purchase. Sizes match. Hope they'll keep up the good work.

First time i've ordered from NEXT DIRECT and the company didn't let me down.My order were mostly clothes for my two kids, lingerie for myself and bed covers. I receieved exactly what I ordered for-33 items total. Same colours as in the pictures.
The only issue was with Aramex Delivery, which didn't have to do anything with NEXT in this case. NEXT emailed me in about 17hrs with the shippment tracking number. However Aramex delayed the shipment and had to complain twice at their Customer Service. I got my order after 1 week.
Anyway, I will be definitely ordering more from NEXT DIRECT.
Answer: If you are from South Africa, check the customs T&C's. As a private individual you can get away with orders not exceeding R500 at a time, excluding postage and handling fees (R500 Total cost of items ordered). You then need to pay postage/courier and courier handling fees, plus minus R149. On a R500 order, I am referring to items of clothing, not sure about other products. You can only order 3 times per year without a Traders Number, which you would need to apply for from SARS/CUSTOMS should you wish to order more frequently, then T&C's apply. I trust this helps you.
