Next Direct entered wrong address on my package so that it couldn't be delivered and in the course of multiple emails trying to figure out why it couldn't reach me, they denied their mistake and then LIED to me outright by claiming I had given them the wrong address and then contacted them to fix it, which they tried to do, but couldn't. In fact, none of those last things happened. They made it all up after first denying the address was wrong until I submitted photographic proof to them. That's when they changed their story from "it didn't happen" to "it did happen, but it was your fault". The incompetence is disappointing but the dishonesty is mind-blowing.
Ordered from them for the first time an expensive 3-pack underwear set. I received an opened pack with only 2 underwear. I'm waiting to see if they'll let me return for free without hassle but it is the stress and the unpleasantness of the experience. Very bad quality control.
And now reading all the bad reviews, I'm not sure if it's even worth going through the process with them. It's also that you have no proof that you've been ripped off that's just really frustrating.
I wanted to order something nice for myself and now I just have another source of stress and the feeling of being taken advantage of. I would NEVER order from them again.

My experience with the custom service was actually good. They offered to refund me without having to go through the process of returning, something I'm grateful for as I don't think they provide free return labels and it would have been a lot of stress to trust them to return the cost of the item and the shipping. They even offered to give me free shipping on my next order.
I cannot fault the customer service. Although I am still waiting on the return they promised to actually go through.
However, I would be very hesitant to order from them again and I would video tape the opening of any package I receive from them. I do a lot of online shopping and being delivered a package with less than you ordered is something I've only experienced one other time in 5 years. It was not a pleasant experience ordering from them and it caused me a lot of stress. That it also happened on my first order with them does not bode well. I do not feel secure with their quality control.
Returns are NOT free of charge and you can only ship to UK even if you buy from local websites (i. E. ES). They sent me a broken product and i had to pay 25 EUR to ship to UK?! This is abusive and very not customer oriented! A fraud! I'll never buy from them again.
I bought a pair of shoes which came mismatch in size, they asked me to pay for the return and wait until 1 month for the refund. And found out that I cannot even write a review on their products. To me they seem to be fraud
Bought clothes that came wrong (the website never stated they were girls polo ts and sent frilly polo ts that were clearly for girls.
I called before returning as postage was so expansive and they assured they'll refund me for postage too. ALL LIES. They've completely ignored me on all my emails and calls for the refund.
NextDirect pretend returns never arrived and will refuse to refund. Repeated emails gets a scripted response around in circles and no refund! I repeatedly sent screenshots of Australia post customer service emails stating that Next Direct had received the parcel and still no acknowledgement of that just repeated requests for the same information I keep sending! SCAMMERS!
They sent me wrong item and doesn't give refund. This is fraud. I sent so many email and explained but they jus keep changing the person in charge and tried to get away until I give up
I have ordered multiple times from Next direct and in general like the clothes.
Unfortunately, the web interface is really poorly maintained as 2-3 times so far the website doesn't provide me with any credit card options, which after having spent time to search for items and collect them in a shopping bag is really disappointing, and I regretfully have to abandon the service.
I recommend Next to hire a better quality assurance testers for their website.
The Egypt website was so unhelpful. I tried to place an order with an international card it did not accept it. Then i tried an Egyptian card, it also did not accept it. I read somewhere in their policies that billing and shipping addresses have to be the same. But even when i tried that it did not take it. I ended up shopping somewhere else.
I recently ordered a pair of loafers from NextDirect. The sizing of the shoes are wrong, and is at least two sizes smaller than the size 11 that I ordered. Overall, the quality is substandard, with bad finishes and cheap materials. The stitching is all skew, and the leather finish is uneven. All i all a cheap and tacky product. I will stay clear of them in future. Pure waste of time and money.
I had an order from nextdirect.com in december and recieved a message about custom fees which inform me about they will send me a payment link for the custom expenses. But they devided my order and send me only one payment link and made the payment. I have recieved the first part but even though I wrote them several times, they didn't send me any link for the second part of my shipment. So second part of my order has returned them back and they made my payment back. After that I wanted to order same products but the prices were doubled. When I contact with the customer service, they told me that there is a software problem and it will be solved in few days. I have just waited but the prices only get higher. I contacted them again and they offer me 15% discount after they increased almost 120%. I bought them for my nephew and they were gifts. I feel cheap to my nephew because we cant buy those brand in Turkey. It was not my fault and customer service just wasted my time. I dont suggest you to shop on that website because they dont have the responsiblity of their mistakes and that made you feel stupid.
Never buy from them ever again! They literally scammed me a whole R2000 and skynet sent me an email saying I should pay R1300 for customs I aid and I never received my parcel

I have to wait for days when I get an answer to my complaints, en when I get an answer back, they don't come with a solution. No, they say that the package is still at a parcel point...
Looks like a joke but I don't think this is funny. I have to pay €244,- for only 1 dress (88,-) I kept!
When you call the customer service, they say you have to e-mail.
When you e-mail, they don't understand you and you get robot-answers back.

An easy over 700kr purchase online could not get more wrong. I just got my parcel within 4 days by DHL since the purchase and to my surprise the dress was visibly after some hard washing, dirty at the bottom and with some hair on it!
Not cool! I sent it back right away and I wish for a quick money return.
I ordered shoes from them for like 150 euro. The ones that arrived were the same brand and size but different model. When I wrote about the issue they responded very quickly and I received a full refund in the next couple of days. They asked me to send the shoes back to UK and they will return the money for the shipping when I send them the bill, but when I went to the local post office they wanted around 150 euros for the return so I wrote them back and told them to send me a return label because otherwise the return will cost as much as the shoes and I really didn't want to spend that much money even though I will be refunded after time, anyways, they told me to keep the shoes. My boyfriend doesn't like them (I bought them for him) and I don't know what to do with them but I was really surprised by the customer service after reading the reviews here and that is why I wanted to share my experience with the company.
I ordered 4 items from Next Direct NZ and the first part of the order arrived on the 24 December 2021 and the second part of my order arrived on the 29 December. Considering I made my order and paid for my order on the 6 December 2021, I consider this slow. Of course if I had not contacted Paypal and left it in their capable hands the items may still not have arrived. I chatted 3 times to Next Direct and sent an enquiry to Sky Net and no one could be bothered to come back to me until I put Paypal on the job.
I am disappointed from their services, they are really not professional at all, I jave a pending case with them since October to refund me an amount of $64. Still nothing credited back to my account, whenever I send them email, I only receive promises and apologies, not actual actions, it is almost 8 weeks now
Do not purchase anything from this store. Big scam. Wish I had read the reviews prior to purchase. Package "lost" by courier, but if I repurchase it they will give 15% discount. Seriously?! Surely you offer a full refund or get the parcel redelivered asap at their cost. What a scam!
I ordered a pair of shoes and ten days later still didn't get a confirmation email. When I contacted them, they gave me an inactive tracking number, and a few days after that sent me an email saying that they 'got my return'. The email also states that the money was refunded but IT WASN'T.
They are liars and thieves. NEVER AGAIN
I tried to make a payment and was said online it did not proceed. The next day I placed another order hoping that I can get it paid and sorted. Just an hour after I placed the second successful order I was notified that the money for the first order has also been deducted from my account.
After all of this, I received an email from SkyNet to say I owe them R1365 for customs clearance for the first order that I did not actually placed. Which is more than the actual clothing?! What will the customs be for the second order? Oh my god, this is getting too much!
Right, then I got to chat with two customer service people stating that I want a refund ASAP. No one can help me with this! No one can cancel the order and no one can understand why I haven't received a tracking number yet for the parcel that is now registered with SkyNet.
Please can someone just refund me and I will be very grateful!

Answer: If you are from South Africa, check the customs T&C's. As a private individual you can get away with orders not exceeding R500 at a time, excluding postage and handling fees (R500 Total cost of items ordered). You then need to pay postage/courier and courier handling fees, plus minus R149. On a R500 order, I am referring to items of clothing, not sure about other products. You can only order 3 times per year without a Traders Number, which you would need to apply for from SARS/CUSTOMS should you wish to order more frequently, then T&C's apply. I trust this helps you.
