I purchased neighborhood who about four months ago and paid for it every month $25
But as I write this review and think about neighbor whoI have to say honestly there's very little extra information for that kind of money where's the real dirt at neighbor who? Where's the real information at?
Any company that makes no mention upfront of cost and lets a person believe that the process they are going through is free, is not one I want to get involved with... very wrong... very deceitful... plain "no good" in my book. Funny how. It was only when I hit the back button that they offered me $1 unlimited trial. Ha... no thanks. I can go to town hall and get most of this info for free,
I will be sure tell others of your questionable tactics.
After I sat on the foolish site waiting for it to go through all of its silly time wasting exercises that really only take a fraction of a second, it asked me for money. I am so angry about this because they don't tell you about their charges until you've spent your time. I will most certainly be telling my friends to never use this site!
The side spent some time compiling information about a property, and then asked me to pay for it, which I did. I was expecting that a printable copy of the report would be e-mailed to me, but this did not happen. They get lots of information, much of it relevant, but overall the work is shoddy.
The title of the company suggests that it will tell you who owns a property. It doesn't. Occasionally it did, but for most of the addresses I put in, it didn't.
I signed up for a 30 day membership but come to find out it is a life time membership. They offer different plans 30 day 90 day this is a joke because it is all the same they will bill every month until you cancel. So be careful there wording is set up to scam you
Pay for info you can obtain for free on other sites. Just another waste of time. After 5 minutes they ask for credit card
I needed a deed history - their phishing site supposedly ran the report and then said we have a report ready but subscription to see report. I bought the $1.00 trial and there was no report data. So I ran it again. And the data I wanted was the identical data that I had found on the free site for the county appraisal. I needed deed history and the report showed No Deed records found... That is impossible because I just looked at the current deed... So as a matter of principle I wanted a refund and held online for about 10 monists. They were polite and friendly and said of course we will cancel and give you your refund... So credit them for giving me a refund but (I suspect) they were hoping I would give up on holding because it was just $1.00; hoping instead I would use the automated cancel option. As I said it was a matter of principle. They also offered to do identity search which is something I already have a service for; so no value to me!
But after one single search it said " oops, you produced too many reports" and not even the promised pdf print out worked.
No I am banned from the page, the e-Mail address does not work and I cannot even cancel the trial! Should the charge me the 25 after the trial, I will sue their little b... off!
And just in case one of the people at neighborwho reads this!: I cancel the trial after the period I paid for...
Gave me all the info I already knew. Nothing that I paid for. The website advertises as a title search company. The search I did gave me owner's name property description, taxes, and that is all.
Not worth 1/10 of the amount of money I paid.
You get more info out of a google search.
Pure waste of money. There isn't anything you cannot find yourself for free. The price is ridicules. Doesn't really help you in anyway unless you feel like giving someone else your money.
In performing a Google search on a piece of property Neighborwho came up as an option to assist with this. After entering the site and going through what APPEARED to be a report generation the site lead me to a subscription page. I could not see the report unless I signed up and paid, which I did. After paying the result was that there was NO REPORT and no information on the property in question. Of course, this occurred after my credit card was charged. I immediately called to cancel the service and request a refund - to which I'm told that a refund is on the way but may take several days and that the service is cancelled. Of course, in the mean time I suppose I have to monitor to see if the refund is indeed processed. This it totally unacceptable. I recommend one stay away from this service altogether.
Didn't provide information needed tough cancellation. It is overpriced so if you want half off just try to cancel and you can get it for $10 a month. Total Scam tho avoid
Many informitivie aspects but didn't have the information I was seeking on a particular property. However I had no trouble at all canceling my service they were very curtious and prompt.
I agree with all other reviewers--this website offers info that you can find on your own. Zero new info. It also requires automatic renewal as the only way to access info, and it's a pain to cancel--you have to call, listen to menus, try to cancel and then they automatically offer a long-winded spiel about offering you a 1/2 off membership. Total rip off.
I subscribed, it had the same info the county website had. Nothing I didn't already know. Cancelled membership and was charged additional months I never used.
This site did not provide any information that was already available to me on line for free. This site should be shut down! Warning, do not waste your money! Now I am in the process of stopping the service, let's see how that works since I was promised it will be easy to discontinue the billing.
I needed to find out the owner of a house in my neighborhood and this site promises detailed information. I paid and received nothing that I did not know. Never found out the owner and then these scumbags charged me again $22.00! Total thieving scumbag site that delivers nothing. They should be prosecuted. STAY AWAY FROM THIS CRAP SITE!
The membership is not worth it, and the only way to sign up is to join a membership. They are banking on the fact that you may forget, which I did. I suggest trying to find free county/city databases for your info.
Answer: Trying to get my money back! Have tried to cancel and you keep charging.
Answer: They are a scam! If you google them you will find many complaints including on BBB and Trustpilot
Answer: On the web page they had laid out nicely and worded correctly to lead one to believe that their information was all that anybody would want so I purchased it and regret it
