The tree arrived with 1/3rd of the leaves fell off onto the pot it was sent in, 1/3rd fell off 1-2 weeks later. The rest of the leaves don't look like they are going to open up but not quite dead either. I immediately planted it in a pot twice as big and put it in a spot where it gets morning sun light and water it a lot for the first 3 days and 2-3 days thereafter. Keeping my fingers crossed that it will survive.

We finished our fire pit/bed expansion project later than anticipated this fall, and found the plant selection at local big box garden centers and nurseries very limited, and many plants were stressed and/or diseased (I work for a local grower of annuals and vegetables in the Spring, and I can see when plants haven't been cared for properly). I was leary of online ordering, but took the risk anyway, and was extremely pleased with the entire process! Ordering was streamlined, and I could easily plan the garden from the comfort of my home. The prices were very competitive, the delivery was on time and effortless (no driving/hauling/packing in my own vehicle), the packaging exceptional, and the plants healthy, lush and larger than most I found locally. I never thought I would trust others to choose my plants for me, but this experience was so positive, they've won my future business! Thank you Nature Hills!

Soooo disappointed. Communication was fair (order received, order shipped), but the product was awful. Poor condition. I think the issue was the long delivery time. From Oregon to Virginia. Just too long a journey.

I ordered 3 rose bushes from this firm. Two of them had over 50% of their branches broken and the bushes looked dead and dry. I requested a refund or replacement but the company service said no, their policy did not cover damages in delivery. I was forced to dispute my credit card charge for the two items.

I contacted the BBB. And their response is this (BTW I sent them pics of the trees with measuring tape back in September. That was THEIR concern, the height NOT MINE. I would've been happy with 2 ft HEALTHY trees not sickly broken 4 or 5 ft ones.). 11/03/2022 Receive Business Response

The customer has been communicating with us since arrival of their trees, and we are awaiting full images of them with a tape measure to indicate their entire height, as that was a concern of theirs.
The customer has planted them and was advised to give them time, as it is noted on their order.

They are just deflecting. Not surprisingly.

They want more photos of the height of the sticks/trees. I told them my husband is in the hospital right now and I have no help. They said they will wait till I get them more pictures. Seriously this is a legitimate company? I think not. Ever notice half the reviews are negative the other half glowing. Strange. Yeah!

I don't like this nursery. I ordered a plant at about 5 am. By the time they opened (8 am) I had read reviews of NatureHills.com and decided I'd better cancel. I called the minute they opened and they said the order had already been processed so I could take a Gift Card or my money, with ten dollars taken out.

This charge is a very bad business practice. I'll never make the mistake of ordering anything from NatureHills.com again.

Very happy with this purchase. The tree arrived healthy and happy. There were no broken branches. It still had leaves and little buds on it. Very pleased with the size and condition of this tree.

I was AMAZED when I opened my shipments of pecan trees from Nature Hills. I couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. I'm in Zone 5a, and I don't know what to expect when ordered cold hardy nut trees. The first vendor sent me TWIGS in the spring, and they died by August. Literally twigs. My co-gardeners and I laughed at them. When it came time to replace them this fall, I tried Nature Hills. And for the same price, I received beautifully boxed-up, tall, bushy trees. I might actually live to see a pecan from these trees! Thank you so much, Nature Hills! I'll be ordering from you regularly from here on out!

I ordered 2 lilac bushes. The bushes arrived on time and were well packaged keeping both bushes safe.

I have never ordered plants or trees online so I didn't know what to expect. My trees arrived in 4 days and were beautiful (although my dogs ate one of my trees). I will definitely be purchasing more items from them.

We got everything we ordered and it arriived as expected. The tree we bought was nicely packaged and protected. We are excited to see our little tree grow in the years to come!

I received an alert when the product I was interested in became available. The item i received was in excellent condition. I had to wait a few days before planting. It remained in great health. I am very pleased with my purchase. I read some earlier reviews which influenced my purchase. The product arrived healthy and I was very pleased. Thank you Nature Hills

Got a great deal at the end of the season. Trees were packed well and arrived quickly and in great shape. Would buy from them again.

All the plants that I have ordered from Nature Hills have been healthy and vibrant. I've never had a problem.

The plants took a long time to arrive, long after other plants ordered at the same time arrived. The plants were packaged so poorly, most of the soil was out.
The shrubs were altogether subpar. I am trying to get a refund but have a terrible feeing they won't issue me a credit, based on the fact that this is an altogether awful company.

I bought 2 trees each for $ 70.00. They were delivered by postal service and were packed reasonably good. How ever these $70.00 trees had no roots and it was simply a branch of tree that were cut from a tree (may be same day as they mailed it to me) and posted to me in a 4"x6" containing. I could not believe how Nature Hill Nursery would ripe off public like this. I will never ever will buy a product from this nursery. The trees did not survive. After a week we had to trash them.

I got 3 lilacs, 3 butterfly weeds, and 8 Sea Holly Blue Glitter (check 'em out if you don't know 'em) and they all arrived timely and healthy and look happy where we planted them. We'll see how they look next year if they make it through a Maine winter.
