I used to be a fan, but after going to Fox Sports 1 where yo only have a couple of providers (which are crooked companies that raise rates, overcharge customers etc) I lost all respect for the greed that this sport has become.
My wife and I ewill not watch NASCAR events any more.as long as they are it's being covered by nbc. NASCAR needs to get a new network to cover the races. We Missed xfinity and the sprint race this weekend. Last week was not enjoyable, five laps of racing and then back to a commercial.
No one wants to watch three hours of commercials.
We have been fans for over 21 years.
For every 2 laps of televised racing there has been 9 commercials during the Daytona 400. I want to watch the race not a bunch of commercials.
Started watching NASCAR as a die hard fan in 1991! Have been to at least 10 races across this Great Country of ours. But just found myself in a hotel without (FS1) no big deal there but when I went to NASCAR. I could not even read what is really going on in real time, willing to pay for watching it! But to pay to read about who's in what position is B. S.! Is NASCAR becoming the next NFL type of money hungry organization? Don't forget where you come from!
Whats up with the screen format? I bought a large screen TV so I can see the race! I don't want to see the inside of cars. My screen went from 50" to 25" today. Don't know who's brilliant idea this was. I thought Fox was bad! We all know who is in the chase today, you don't have to have separate screens on each one of them! Get rid of it!
Absolutely, when did NASCAR decided to go the way of the WWE and script and change theses decisions midstream ALL to sell the product. NASCAR is hurting as far as attendance and we ALL can see that so get off your asses and lets get back to racing. There is a difference in Bump and run vs. Dump and run no matter whose in the chase or running for a championship. Your BIG pockets are getting smaller and if this keeps up a lot smaller. Oh we are big race fans that travel and attend dirt late model racing every weekend here in the Midwest.
Just go ahead and give Jeff Gordon the championship trophy... wasn't that was the plan at the beginning of the season when he announced he was retiring?
The announcers on nbc are awful. Lagano and Keselowski are dirty drivers, but the announcers gush over them as if they were kings. I guess the crowd reaction proves my point after Kenseth hit Logano. Couldn't have made Logano feel very good to hear all the cheers. Going to Tx next week and can hardly wait. Am glad, however, that no one is hurt.
NASCAR TV has become too expensive. I have been a NASCAR Sprint Cup fan for 20 Years attending several races a year and watching every race on TV. Several weeks ago NBC moved their coverage to a premium channel that would have required me to change my Direct TV package and pay more all year. I decided I had had enough of continually paying more and quit watching on TV. As a result I have lost interest in following the Chase and will not attend any more races. Too much price gouging!
Been watching NASCAR for many years & love the cars & drivers but this nbcsn has the worst announcers ever. Motor Mouths of the worst kind. Don't really need 50 laps of constant prattling about saving fuel. They sound like little kids at a soap box derby. Thank goodness for "mute" and DVR recording. Can't imagine listening to those guys for a whole race. Bring on FOX. More knowledge & make the races fun to watch
Let me start by saying I'm a race fan. I love watching the races. I am a normal person who has cable tv. I couldn't see the race today. I can't watch most of the races. Apparently it's more financially rewarding for Nascar to hopscotch the races all around, mostly to channels normal cable views can't see. As I miss more and more races, I am starting to watch other sports. If it's their plan to wean us away from watching Nascar... well guess what... it's working. Nascar is about $$$ not the fans. Sad way to send a great sport down the tubes. Thanks Nascar
Why is Nascar not showing the Sprint Cup races on local TV Stations anymore? I turned on NBC channel 7 in San Diego CA and skateboarding is on. Since when did skateboarding become more interesting than auto racing? What the hell. Nascar if you don't want to loose your fans you need to wise up! Pissed off soon to become a x nascar fan
I have been a fan of racing for years I love Nascar but there comes a time when drivers have to be responsible for there actions so does their flag man the flag man controls the race so when when he or she sees drivers not following their rules from there drivers meeting that's when the black flag should come in play two by two is OK but when its three and four or even five wide penalize them
This is the last year I will subscribe... lousy connection problems, audio not in sync, etc. Not worth the aggravation.
Nascars' website is the worst site I visit it is slow, sends you to pages you don't want. You are better off going to msnbc/ motorsports for info. Nascar just wants to keep you on their site wandering aimlessly around trying to find info. I have been into motorsports for years watching nascar, nhra, imsa, tudor series, fia, lucas series,. Brian france just wants your dollars!
THIS is BY far THE worst WEBsite ON the INTERNET... ONE big BLACK HOLE...
They spend all YOUR time giving YOUR ip info to all their business partners. It takes 2 minutes to finally get to the primary page. THEN ex: try to find the entry list for the camping world truck race this weekend at atlanta? Good luck... they give you 2014 information?
Just a total waste of time
I've been a paid subscriber to Nascar Raceview for years and I'm fed up after not being able to get this year's Daytona race on Raceview. Tried submitting multiple tickets and called numerous times and never got any help leading to a very frustrating wasted day. I've had multiple issues in the past with the virtual cars moving randomly all over the place, audio sometimes working and raceview just not loading especially late in the race. Great concept but poorly executed and I'm tired of waiting year after year for you to get the bugs worked out. Since I'm not able to contact nascar.com because they're probably too busy handling loads of issues, I'm disputing the charges in Paypal resolution center.
Even worse this year! Now they are autoplaying ad's with audio when you go to some of the schedule pages. It's sad to watch NASCAR old guys alienate their younger audience with poor execution on the web.
Answer: What can you say if its about Kyle Bush Nascar lets him do what he wants they love him let it be another race driver and they -jump on him to question and penalize
Answer: It's all about the corporate dollars older Fan base like myself is dying off, and they are trying to attract the younger folks. Kind of hurts my feelings, but that is the way of the world now.
Answer: Nascar, com is not only a mess compared to the old one it has lost a lot of info fans like, movement of drivers last 6 races, area where it gave season average, box score etc, the old one was good it just needed a revamp of the page like that all white section and to keep up more on results n things. I go to three site 1 -fox sports NASCAR 2-Racinghellonwheels.net 3-jayskis.com try these you will like just explore all parts of them before you judge
