I am a individual Tax Preparer/Staff Accountant, who works for a Financial Fiduciary, but has my own side gig. When I have worked with the big shops with Lacerte, Sterling, Drake, and CC /ATX. It cost 10-20% of the $$$$. You can get into it for between $500-$1100/yr vs $2,000-10,000 per seat. I put in 4-5 legitimate tickets a year, and their customer service is very good, but you must know tax law, form flow, and preparation in order to perform at 100%. Lacerte, Drake, and CCH Pro are applications that data entry clerk can enter the returns and get 80-90% done if they are a return client. I have used this package for 5 Tax seasons after leaving ATX after 10 seasons... for the money, functions like client portals, digital signature or remote, and overall customer service... this should be your choice for under $1000/yr.

Chase our support person was extremely patient. He resolved the problem on the Federal return. The problem on the State return has been identified in part. Chase is putting in a ticket that should facilitate a resolution.
