I have been charged 16.95GBP per month since March 2017 while I only subscribed for the 14-day trial. While it is stated that after 14 days the subscription auto renews, it's hard to notice because you subscribe for the 14-day service, not the monthly access, which is right next to it as if it is a different option. I called their customer service right after I cancelled my subscription to ask for a refund and, even though the guy could clearly hear my frustration, he suggested that I renew my subscription. At least, their customer service employees have a great sense of humour.

The site itself is very easy to use, poor selection of formats unfortunately, probably because it's American not what we brits are used to seeing. However, due to my husband being taken ill after his interview, I was not able to get back to ' PerfectCV ' in time to cancel subscription prior to free trial expiry. No matter. He got the job and after 'chatting' with Ener she setup the cancellation for me. Hopefully there won't be anymore ' takes ' from my account - watch this space...

Easy way to design your cv, I had some problems with the formatting so spoke to customer services via live chat who sorted it all out for me, cv looks great too

The ability to print, e-mail, or download your resume and cover letters are features included in our paid subscription and not listed as a feature of the free account. You can download a plain text version of your resume for free. For the benefit of our users, we provide the option of a 14-day trial for a small fee.
When you select our 14-day trial enrollment, it provides all the details on screen which state that after the 14th day, it will auto enroll into the monthly subscription service. It also explains that you can cancel at any given time. This alert is also given when the credit card information is requested where it explains that unless you cancel, you automatically authorize us to charge your account every four weeks at the current rate of the subscription. Lastly, when you finish your enrollment process, an e-mail is sent explaining this as well. Auto e-mails can get picked up by the filter as spam or junk mail, redirecting this to the junk/spam folder. Please be sure to check these folders just in case.
