The lineage info provided is extremely useful for the major lines of my family from present time to as many as 15 generations bk in two of my families lineage to England and Scotland. The notices about current events is useful. I would prefer less sourcing of distant relatives such as 3rd and 4th removed relatives and concentration on dead ends or road blks at Ireland in my main line. I am very happy w/ three out of 4 lines.
Most of the time you are excited about the discoveries presented. If you are researching main lines you don't generally go to far afield and avoid some of the research. Main line of lineage are the priority. In my case, I have hit the wall at my Irish 5th great grandfather on the Stanton line. So, obtaining a final piece to the main line of ancestors is the priority at this juncture.

Great value for money easy to use and compile all aspects of tree's
L am unable to find 1 of my family tree that had alot more families connected to & when l spoke to the help center operator, she was no help at all, l could only download an old tree that had about 96,000 family names, where the other tree had 140,000 family names.
Mostly satisfied but they need to make searching easier.
A pension rate would be good as the way the economy is going might not be able to sustain membership.

I found My Heritage to be very useful in building my family trees, the smart matches and help from other members proved valuable in helping find lost relatives. And to be able to make a chart of my trees and get them printed in large size leaves me with a memory I can pass on to my children

Answer: My issue was the automatic renewal without any kind of courtesy reminder prior to the effective date, as other businesses do. Advising one year in advance is a poor business practice. When I contacted them immediately on the renewal effective date, they refused to cancel and offered me a 25% discount. They eventually gave me the full refund but it was due to me turning it over to AMEX to resolve. I do however agree with the advice to base your renewal on your own personal experience.

They are highly Sloppy and unprofessional in responding to customer request for assistance. Even though they have and excellent Technical Team. Fortunately I have another Computer with Windows 8 as a result of which I am able to continue working with my Website. But recently a few problems have cropped up with the recent upgrade of the My Heritage Program and have sent in a request for assistance and till today 3-5 months later I have no response. Apparently the company believes that they can play games with the customers. I firmly believe that they have somehow gone into self destructive mode.

Answer: Hi After posting my complaint about MyHeritage on here I got a very quick response from some one called Dave at the company. He told me to send an email to [email protected] and add the subject Dave: sitejabber. He responded a couple of days later - I emailed on a Saturday - and the auto repeat on my subscription was cancelled and my money refunded within days. Hope this helps.
