Feel like being detective discovering ancestors and alive ones
Not very useful for the cost of a subscription. I have not found one unique document.
I recently received a notification from MyHeritage about one Ancestor who emigrated from France in Year 1890 and settled in Oregon.
The information was extracted from a very local newspaper. In many instances, MyHeritage has provided my family tree with useful data that go beyond births, weddings and deaths.
When confirming match and save information, it doesn't save the information and I have to do it all again.
And doing consistently controlled I have to scrolls through all before going to doubles. It will be easy and good if there was a roll curtain to choose from.
And if a datakonflikt showed up whit the match or person it will be easier to correct, And it is annoying when my grandmother in my tree is called ex wife of someone or someone ants, I want my ancestors relationship named correct not as others relationship
Easy and fully comprehensive access to data inconjunction with ancient origins and other sources I am to do my family tree back to ancient Mesopotamia. I am now writing my book! Thankyou my heritage, teresa.
Sometimes very good but can be exhausting at times when trying to move from one person to another when you have looked at a dozen records or more on the Family Tree, the data tends to freeze.

I am constantly receiving emails from MyHeritage with records of my ancestors in census data, marriage registries, death indexes and more. I would normally have to do all this research on my own but MyHeritage delivers it on a silver platter. In addition, there are links provided to other members who have the same ancestors but often have details different from my own. A win-win!

I am not renewing the annual subscription for my Family Site because my Family Tree Builder database is more current, but it got contaminated by the unexpected sync update by the "old" Family Site database due to the "NO" sync glitch during my backups between two devices. My Family Tree Builder had the setting for NO Sync. It appears to be a software glitch that changed the NO Sync to Sync while I was doing the copy of the database between my desktop computer and my laptop. I might decide to "update" my Family Site after I have fixed my Family Tree Builder database by the end of this summer if it is worth the cost to sync it to my Family Site.
Jestem członkiem MyHeritage od około 7 lat i dzięki temu uzyskałem bardzo dużo informacji o swoich przodkach i ich bliskich oraz dalszych krewnych. A także o innych interesujących mnie jako historyka osobach. Na swoja stronę wchodzę kilka razy w tygodniu, szukając nowych informacji. Szkoda tylko, że czasem wpisując dane imię i nazwisko, rok urodzenia i zaznaczając pole dotyczące dokładnego wyszukiwania pokazują się zupełnie inne nazwiska, co nie zawsze da się wytłumaczyć faktem, że rzeczywiście niektóre nazwiska były przekręcane i te same osoby są różnie zapisywane. Niemniej polecam wszystkim osobom szukającym swoich przodków zapisanie się do MYHeritage.
As implied in the title regular updates and good access to data sources
Answer: My issue was the automatic renewal without any kind of courtesy reminder prior to the effective date, as other businesses do. Advising one year in advance is a poor business practice. When I contacted them immediately on the renewal effective date, they refused to cancel and offered me a 25% discount. They eventually gave me the full refund but it was due to me turning it over to AMEX to resolve. I do however agree with the advice to base your renewal on your own personal experience.
Answer: You can find your site subscriptions via MyHeritage homepage - pull-down menu on the right upper corner button "Settings". Then click on "My purchases", and button "Site subscriptions". Click "View details". The details contain section "Cancel subscription". Maybe you can get advice by mail from MyHeritage support team ([email protected]).

Answer: Dear Jonathan, Yes I have the same problem, I wrote to My Heritage and they have still not responded to my request for assistance. They are highly Sloppy and unprofessional in responding to customer request for assistance. Even though they have and excellent Technical Team. Fortunately I have another Computer with Windows 8 as a result of which I am able to continue working with my Website. But recently a few problems have cropped up with the recent upgrade of the My Heritage Program and have sent in a request for assistance and till today 3-5 months later I have no response. Apparently the company believes that they can play games with the customers. I firmly believe that they have somehow gone into self destructive mode.

Answer: Hi After posting my complaint about MyHeritage on here I got a very quick response from some one called Dave at the company. He told me to send an email to [email protected] and add the subject Dave: sitejabber. He responded a couple of days later - I emailed on a Saturday - and the auto repeat on my subscription was cancelled and my money refunded within days. Hope this helps.
