Door MyHeritage te gebruiken om mijn stamboom te maken kon ik teruggaan tot de jaren 1600. Dit had ik nooit kunnen realiseren zonder hun hulp. Eén van mijn voorvaderen was zelfs een Oostenrijkse zadelmaker, fantastisch toch?

Like others I forgot to cancel my trial and after canceling on day 15, they refuse to give a full refund. First offering 25% and then 40% after I pushed it.

I shouldn't have to push it at all since they say they have a 30 day money back guarantee in their terms and conditions. What despicable business practice to not honor. It.

There is information on my family completely incorrect. I did the 14 day trial to try to find out why and to correct it.

Got an email the day after it ended and told I was being charged for the year. Emailed and called immediately, told them it sure would have been nice to get an email the day before telling me my trial was ending.

Their response? Too bad.

Has to fight and threaten them to get 1/2 back.

So, here is my response to them taking my money!

Information on my family is wrong, I could find no way to correct it and and I got hammered for a fee.

STAY AWAY!

Awful Service

What terrible service! Emailed them twice to cancel within the cancellation period and a guy called me on the phone, I had to reiterate many times that I wanted to cancel and get my money back and he just did not want to hear it

Will not use this website again EVER

Due to a wrong klick while synchronizing the data from my heritage to the family tree builder I lost 5000 relatives and I had no backup. Daniel from the support managed it to restore the complete data which took some weeks but finally was successful. A great thanks to Daniel for this! Robert

I called the Support Center in Tel Aviv last week with a problem. I was just blown away with the service I received there. The several calls I made was promptly answered and the support persons I spoke to was very patient with me and very professional. I was taken through the problem step by step and this was followed up with a three page e-mail that I used to make the required changes. Thank you Shill and especially Freja. You were both great.

I was in need to make substantial changes on my family page. I was surprised how fast Sharon was able to help, how patient she was and how she was able to explain in a way I was able to understand. Within minutes all the problems were resolved and the service was excellent. I am so pleased to be a member in the MyHeritage site.

Soon after subscribing to MyHeritage my daughter had problems with her password which was promptly attended to. This solution led to the discovery that there were two family sites(our fault) and MyHeritage was again very helpful in helping us out. Excellent service right through.

I have been using Heritage now over 2 years, and have complained many times about it unable to "find and sort duplicates" the "merge" I have been told that it is all being sorted, but its not happened after 2 years. If they do not sort it out by the end of my contract, I will cancel and refuse to pay, as it is its expensive for me as a pensioner.
I have 3 trees written by cousins, and I want to merge them, but cannot do it properly in Heritage, which is very frustrating.
I have never found much European records, and this does need to be expanded, but to be honest its better than Ancestry for this.

Réactif et efficace

Jutilise Family Tree Builder depuis 2008, qui parmi plusieurs logiciels de généalogie que jai essayés, est celui qui me convient le mieux et que jai adopté.

Suite au passage à FTB 8.00, jai constaté que les noms de lensemble des individus de mon arbre avaient été dupliqués une quinzaine de fois. Nayant pas réussi à corriger ce problème moi-même, jai fait appel pour la première fois au support en ligne de MyHeritage.
Jai reçu dans la journée une réponse très courtoise à mon courriel de la part de la personne qui prenait en charge ma demande et jai adressé en retour les renseignements complémentaires qui métaient demandés. En quelques jours et après plusieurs échanges de mail, mon problème a été résolu à ma plus grande satisfaction.

Je remercie chaleureusement le support MyHeritage et notamment mon interlocutrice Alexandra qui a su prendre en compte ma demande et y apporter une solution rapide.

I have been using this site for several years-and it's amazing. However, with some of their new features, including "Theories", I was not clear as to how to facilitate this. I sent a query to the help people and within a few days, they answered my question, as well as a follow-up question I had. It was clear, efficient and effective.

I have been going back and forth for years, between Ancestory.com and MyHeritage.com without being able to afford both. I recently took another look at MyHeritage.com and boy, have there been some major updates, I am impressed. When my subscription ended at Ancestory.com I moved all my data to MyHeritage Family Tree Builder to continue my work on my tree offline. I can quickly and conveniently add and edit my tree with ease. Combine that with many tools to help me clean up, many, many imports make looking into this software worthwhile and the price is right. Customer Service has been responsive with all my dealing whit them.

Good Company

I had a bit of difficulty getting a problem solved via their e-mail support.

But today we managed to get it sorted, thanks to Mr. Dean from their Support Department.

This is good and honest company, only suggestion I'd leave is to improve the e-mail support or make the phone support more easily found on the site.
